My boot camp has taken 3 hours to download... First 4 min smooth and rest of the time has been sitting at around half... Not sure what to do?

Your email provider may have changed certain settings to do with deleting from server when deleting from client so that it no longer works. Are you using pop or imap? If pop then recreate the account using imap.

FYI I had to put this link into firefox to reply - because **** back safari just wouldn't register my clicks to any of the links on the post... Despite reloadeing and even restarting my computer. Totally annoying and a massive pain in the ***.
But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap.

Error: no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed!(pavilion 20-b014 . The machine came originally with windows 8. I upgraded to windows 8.1 and put new hard disk. So the hard disk is fine.
However if I turn the machine off for a day and start the next day I get the "Error: no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed".
I made the hard disk the first to boot the machine will boot and works. Is there a way to upadate the BIOS on
HP pavilion 20-b014? my bios version is 12/4/2012 v.8.09.
I do not understand why the intermittment above error showing on and off.

I understand that your desktop computer is giving you an error message stating that the boot disk could not be detected, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To ensure that your hard drive you computer is trying to boot from is in working order, I recommend following the steps in this document on Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 8). This should help determine if there is a fault with the hard drive.
If the hard drive passes all of the required tests, I recommend returning the BIOS back to its default settings by following this document on Recovering the BIOS.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!

With respect to your question "When will Windows 8.1 be supported on Boot camp 5?" you are asking us to speculate as to when Apple will release their drivers supporting Windows 8.1. We do not know, and we can not speculate as to when. From the terms of use of this forum:
"Unless otherwise noted, do not add Submissions about nontechnical topics, including:
Speculations or rumors about unannounced products."
The planned dates of production or release of Windows 8.1 drivers are speculation about the drivers.

Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect.

Perform a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If this doesn't help, connect the phone to the charger and leave it for about 30 minutes and see if it comes on. If not, while it is connected try the reset I described first.

Hello - I have an ENVY 20 All-in-One PC and up until yesterday it was running fine. When I turned on my PC, a black screen appeared with the message: "ERROR: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed." I followed the directions on this post and ran a Hard Disk Test in BIOS. I've run both the Quick Check and the Extensive Check and both were passed. I'm not sure what to do now. Any solutions? Mgmartinelli, welcome to the forum. It appears that you may be getting some conflicting information. The error message that you first received is normally attributed to a failed/ing hard drive. You may want to disconnect the drive and reconnect it to see if that helps. Please click the "Thumbs up + button" if I have helped you and click "Accept as Solution" if your problem is solved.
