Display of the field

Hi,
My report is based on XML Publisher template, output is EXCEL, I have one char field whose values are displayed in a strange format:
e.g.
Value of the field 0941001E01 is displayed as 9.41E+06 wherease 0741001G01 is displayed as 0741001G01 which is fine.
My question is how to display value 0941001E01 normally i.e. same as is displayed as 0941001E01 as compaed to 9.41E+06

Debugger Problem: Full data is not displayed in the fields of the ITAB

Hi Guys,
I am having a problem related to ABAP Debugger. Data is not fully displayed in all the field of the internal table. I am using SAPGUI 640 with ECC6. In the debugger I have increased the width (size) of the column but still data is not fully displayed.
Below is the example:

When I bring the curson on the displayed incomplete data, the full data is shown in small popup window.
I have increase the size of the column but still it is not showing the complete data.
I have to download the internal table data to an excel spreadsheet to view the complete data.

I cannot use SAPGUI 710 as my company is not upgrading it to 710. We have to live with 640 for now.
SAPGUI details are as follows:

Display all the fields in one screen shot

Hi all,
I am having 20 fields in the grid.
but few fields are displaying in the grid and the scroll bar is existing to display other fields
where as i need all the fields in on screen shot.

One option would be to reduce the width of the fields in the catalog or manually after the data is displayed.

Pop up Windows that display outside the field of view.

I frequently connect multiple monitors to my laptop and it seems that some software "remembers" the location where it last displayed a pop up window. For example: The first time I access a function that displays a pop up window it will display
on my main display which I then drag to one of the additional displays I have connected. The next time I access that function it will automatically appear on the additional display that I last dragged it to. The problem is that if I access that function
when I don't have an additional display connected the pop up still behaves as though I do. I'm unable to see or access the pop up which is particularly problematic if the pop up is displaying a question that I must answer to continue. How do I correct this
issue? Are there any hotkeys to remedy this?

Connecting and disconnecting displays while the laptop is on can cause these issues. For best practice, have the laptop powered off when connected to the monitor and then power it up. To disconnect the monitor, power down the machine and disconnect.

How to display subtotal in ALV, where the field is not a numeric.

We are having a requirement to display the sub total for a field using ALV grid display, where the field is not numeric.
The field is characte, Status field(consists of values Submit, Approve ,Reject), where the subtotal should be value of count of group by status .
say status with submit are 10 records, so after all records with submit status are, displyed, we need to display its subtotal as 10.

How to populate the field after execution of the application

Hello gurus,
I am creating one application and need your help. on my webdynpro screen I have few fields, out of these user will enter some and one field I want to populate when user hit enters. My application is to create a sales order, user will enter the details and hit create button that will create the sales order. Now what I want is when the sales order is created on the same screen the sales order number should also be displayed in the field : VBELN. Can you please tell me how can I get this.

Hi Rajeev, if I understand you want show in a field that was created the VBELN after execute BAPI, well I assume that this field is binding with context document->Att_VBELN. You can use the code below.

Quantity fields not getting displayed in the second total row

Hi,
As per the requirement I have to display 2 total rows for an ALV report using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. I am able to get the first total row properly using method get_subtotal(). However for the next total row only the character fields are getting displayed and the quantity fields are coming blank.
The second total row will have different values based on a formula.
Please help me out in resolving the issue.

You can provide first row as the SUBTOTAL and next row as the TOTAL.
Get one extra column on which you can do the SUBTOTAL.

Field not present in the Field Catalog also getting displayed in the ALV

Hi Experts,
I am trying to display some to an ALV grid. But since i don't need all the fields from the internal table, i have deleted those fields from the field catalog. But in-spite of doing this the field heading is still getting displayed. I am not able to figure out the reason for this. Also note that the i have not deleted that field from my internal table which contains the actual data.

If your giving your internal table to the below field then ALV try to disply those many coloumn.
wa_fcat-tabname = 'IT_OUTPUT'.
You can add for that field name.
wa_fcat--NO_OUT = 'X'.
Please check the field name on the output will be same as before column name .

SAP Fields not getting displayed on the BDT screen

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to add 2 custom fields on to the claims management screen. The following steps were followed to add 2 fields on to the claims Management subclaim screen.
1. Create a field group Zxxxxx1 with the two fields attached to it as input enabled.
2. Create a View Zxxxxx2 attach the created field group Zxxxxx1, then create a subscreen screen add two fields to the screen and make them as input enabled. Then attached the subscreen to the View.
3. Create a PBO and PAI function modules for the screen and attach it to the View Zxxxxx2.
4. Create a section Zxxxxx3 and attach the view Zxxxxx2 to the section.
5. Attach the section to the Subclaim Overview Screen.
6. Inspite of doing all the above steps the screen is not getting displayed or the Function module PAI / PBO / FMOD is not being called.
Since I am attaching the section to a standard screen sequence I am not doing any modification to the screen sequence and screen sequence catagory.
Kindly let me know the steps I am missing in the configration of 2 new fields via BDT.

did you create your own Z BDT application? Is it set to be active?
I have no access to any claims management system: Does the claim object support divisibility? If so, have you assigned the correct data set in your view?
Also, if you have your own Z BDT application and the claim object does support divisibility, did you assign the Z application to the divisibility view?

All fields are getting displayed in the output (ALV)

Hi i have declared an Internal table as folllows -
DATA: BEGIN OF itab1 OCCURS 0,
vbeln type vbeln,
bstnk like vbak-bstnk,
erdat like vbak-erdat,

and reading data from table VBAK and filling the internal table..
but when i m displaying data i give the internal table name in the 'reuse grid' function' and structure name 'VBAK'..
in the ouput it is showing all the fileds of VBAK,,wht to do?

Make sure you have passed the reference table also as itab1 and NOT vbak.
Also U need to pass the Field Catalog filled in. IT_FIELDCAT parameter.
In FM REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE ->
the parameter I_INTERNAL_TABNAME should be set to itab1 and NOT vbak.

All fields are not displaying in the infotype screen control

Hello Everybody,
All the fields from infotype 2001 and 2002 are not getting displayed in the screen control for these infotypes and
when I checked the screens for these infotypes, the mod. groups/functions has not been set for field 'Group3' for those
infotype fields.
Is there a way I could set this field ' Group3' for these infotype fields also ? Can it be done thru screen exit and if yes could
anyone tell me what's the screen exit for these infotypes ?

How to display the fields using field catelog in ALV Report

I have rquiremrnt in ALV report.I would need to add the new fileld in the ALV output screen.I have added the field but its appearing in the layout set but not directly displaying in the output screen.
I have written the below logic for field catelog.

wa_fieldcatalog-fieldname = 'LOGGR'.

wa_fieldcatalog-col_pos = l_pos.
wa_fieldcatalog-outputlen = 13.
wa_fieldcatalog-seltext_s = 'Log. group'.
wa_fieldcatalog-seltext_m = 'Logistics group'.

Fields display in the ALV List

Hi Experts,
I am using 3.0f version, in my report i am using function module LIST_DISPLAY.
Newly i added 3 fields in the report. But these fileds are comming in the second row. But i want to display in the first row only. report line size is nearly 280.
But in the 3.0f version, it not accepting more than 255( Line size).
can any one tell me how to over come this problem.

Hi,
At the top of your main report program, there would be a statement
REPORT ZTEST line-size 255.
change it to
REPORT ZTEST line-size 355.
