Displayed Album Art Is Not the Correct Embedded Art

I have album art for most of the songs in my library embedded into the MP3 or AAC file, however, my iPhone occasionally displays different artwork for a song. How do I fix this?

i have had the same problem.
I go to Amazon.com music to check thespelling on artist, album, and song name and if that does not work i drag the album pict to the song. easy but time consuming. it is often a spelling issue like (Three doors down greatest hits vs. 3 doors down Greatest Hits)

Where is the 'display album art on my iPod' option?

I only use my iPod in the car, so I don't exactly need album artwork on it. iTunes used to have an option to display (or not display) album art on the iPod. What happened to that option? My iPod is a classic, so it has a hard drive, and I'm getting tired of the constant disk access whenever it wants to display album artwork. I would prefer to get rid of it altogether.
I don't want to delete the artwork itself, because I also listen to music with my AppleTV at home. I just don't need the artwork *on my iPod*. How can I rig it so the iPod won't display the artwork anymore?

This is going out to APPL! I'm a coder, been one for 30+ years! Put back the display album art! It can't be that hard! I know you dudes can do a classic view or something like that.

Can you be more specific? Album artwork is still available in iTunes 12, though the UI operations to do so have changed a little. As shown below:
Click on the Playlists button
Select a Playlist (or the complete library)
Select Albums from the dropdown at the top right of the screen
Are you seeing something different? iTunes 12 has also changed how you set/update/delete artwork for albums, groups of songs or individual songs - there are several threads covering this in detail ... since the iTunes 12 behavior seems to be a distinct backward step in terms of usability, there is at least the option to SHIFT-right-click > Get Info to bring up the old-style dialog where the previous functionality for handling artwork is available as it was in earlier releases.
BTW, you are not reaching Apple here - this is a forum for iTunes users. If you have specific bug reports or enhancement requests you can submit them to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html.

Version number is displayed as a code not the number

I've created a document template within a library and added a label to display the version of a document on the footer and I continued to add other columns such "date created, date modified, Revision etc" and now the version number is displayed
as a code not the number that was displayed before. before the version was displayed as minor versions but now it shows this "{_UIVersionString}". Can anyone
help please

++Displaying Album Art++

Hi, trying to get my albums to also display album art on first gen ipod nano. Does this only work with purchased tracks from the Itunes store?I have set up an account but dont really wish to buy owt from them!Is there a folder somewhere/ address on my computer that i can import pics/jpg/gifs to and then have them displayed?

Here are a couple of methods.
First off, make sure you have "show album art" enabled in iPod options.
Highlight a song or album in iTunes and use the advanced/get album artwork option in iTunes.
Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.
Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".
When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.
Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.
You'd be surprised what Google Images can bring up. There are literally millions, and even obscure album artwork can be found.
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a nice free program to do it for you.
And incidentally, you don't have to buy anything from the iTunes store to display album art.
It will add artwork to your songs in iTunes regardless, as long as the album is for sale in the store.

Are both of these dates in the same Excel file? If they're in different files, are you choosing the same language for OCR (optical character recognition)?
If they are in the same PDF file, how was that PDF file created? Was it created from a third-party application (rather than an Adobe application)? If it was created by a third-party application, it could be that it wasn't written to spec, and that's why you're seeing some oddities in the PDF > Excel conversion. (See Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.)

Unbreakable Linux error: That's not the correct Enterprise Linux CDROM

I eagerly downloaded Unbreakable Linux (4 CDROMS) and tried to install it in a VMWARE (Workstation 5.5.1 build-19175) virtual machine.
I choose RHEL 4.0 32bit as a base (Typical VM configuration).
All went fine until disc 3 was asked for during install. I got a "That's not the correct Enterprise Linux CDROM" error. I tried also to mount the other ISO's but that didn't work out either.
Frustrating.
The mediacheck results in PASS for all 4 CD's - and they all are all recognized correctly. So I made sure I got the complete set.
Anyone a shot...?

When I use FaceTime the picture is always on the side and not the correct way up.

I have restored as a new device first and then from backup, neither of which solved the problem. I have used mms regularly since I got the phone about 18 months ago. I will check but as I have been able to receive them to my phones lockscreen I would assume that it is enabled. When I open a conversation with someone it shows the image as
? IMG 6992 Just with differing number but when I click on it nothing opens.
I can send mms fine to other people. I have also tried turning off Imessage and that doesn't solve the issue either.

NAC reports "Windows Update Agent is not the correct version"

We just switched from CAM validation to Windows Update validation using NAC agent 4.7.2.10 (Clean access) and are begining to see lots of 64 bit Vista/Win7 machines with the "Windows Update Agent is not the correct version" issue. We have 9 cases in less than a day and growing fast.
Is there a resolution for this issue? Suggestions anyone?

I'm having the same issue, but on Windows 7 32-bits machines. Were you able to overcome this problem?... I haven't been able to identify a pattern on machines that prompt "Windows Update Agent is not the correct version", but it happens randomly. Our workaround is to reboot the machine, and then Agent completes posture validation without any prompt.

How do you display album art on the N95 8Gb?

Does anyone know how to make album art display when an album is playing on an N95 8Gb? It appears on some albums but not on others. I dragged my music folders from my itunes folder and in each album I have a small GIF or JPG file as the album art, but where do these go when the music files are dragged across - I can't find them anywhere on the phone, yet some of them display whereas others don't.

Displayed Album Art is NOT what is being played!

Very suddenly my iTunes changed. It's not a big deal but it bugs the holy **** out of me. The album art displayed in the lower left corner is always the track that is highlighted within the main window but not what is actually being played. A scant 2 days ago it displayed whatever track was being played and now it's doing this. Great! Whatever I click on it shows me the album art for that particular track even though it's not being played at the moment. How do I fix it and how the heck did this even happen becuase it sure wasn't my idea.
And while I'm ranting... when did apple make it's direct support information so **** hard to find?! I used to be able to send an actual email to them for help.

If you click in the bar immediately above the album art window where there is a little right pointing triangle, it will switch between "selected item" and "now playing".

Won't display Album Art while playing music and the screen is Locked

So what's happening is that while I'm playing music and I lock the iPod, it won't display the album art. Only my wallpaper, which is one of the wallpapers that come with the iPod.

Reboot fixed it
