Displaying only flashlight with LOV control...

Question

Is it possible to only display the flashlight for an lov? I need to have an LOV where only the flashlight displays with no input box.

Hey Ajay,
I combined that with my other part and it did work for me. No longer is there a place for the user to click the mouse and have a cursor appear. The onfocus hides the edit box too. The only visible thing is that the flashlight hops to the right as the LOV window opens because it tries to redraw the white colored edit box with no border. But since the user cannot click on the bas screen while the LOV window is open, it doesn't cause a problem. When the LOV window closes, the onfocus hides the edit box again and the flashlight hgops to the left. I tell the users that is the "search animation" in action LOL.
