Displaying only the relevant table data based on condition

Is it possible to display a part of a table based on a condition which is not in that table.
My example - I am using the spreadsheet to determine the accumulation of $$ in an account over a period of time and then how quickly that would be spent at a designated withdrawal rate.
However, I only want to display the values that relate to the time frame I specify.
So in one table I have Personal Data like income, savings, age, interest rate, spending etc.
In this table I have one column as Age Today and another is Age to stop, then age to Start spending.
My second tale has all the relevant calculations to accumulate and then withdraw and spend the money.
What I am looking to do is create and display the relevant portions of the table which refer to the Age Today and Age to Stop.
Is this possible?

_Go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'09

Displaying metadata, how to display ONLY the Date

I would like to display the Date below each image in Aperture 3. When I select "Date" in the Browser & Viewer Metadata window, the result is a very long string with the Date, the Time and the Time Zone. meaning that most of the time I see nothing because the string is much too long to be displayed...
How to display ONLY the Date ?

In the past I used Expression Media and the config for displaying such info was better.

I think we can do using trigger on table, but problem
is if i am having 20 tables means i have to write 20
trigger. i don't want like this.Of course it's still possible, typically you'll find applications with a column LAST_UPDATE, probably a LAST_UPDATED_BY and so on column. You don't say what your business need is, if you just want a one of query of updates to particular records and have a recent version of Oracle, then flashback query may well help, if you want to record update timestamps you either have to modify the table, or write some code to store your updates in an audit table somewhere.

Char displaying only the first three characters in the cube

Hi Experts
I have a char with lenth 60 and it's active.I am updating this char via the update routine whereby i am reading data from an active table of an ODS as i update in the update rules.
But surprisingly,once the load is succesful and complete,upon checking the data in the active table it's displayin the way it should be the problem comes in when I view the data on the cube which displays only the first three chars even if the descriptionis a 60 character field.

Have you checked in the infosource or transfer rules, what is the length of the infoobject, if you are loading the data to PSA, please check there it self, whether it is displaying 60 characters or only 3 characters.

How to pass the internal table data to smartforms

In the smartform under the Form Interface->Tables tab
I had defined
LT_PRDLBL LIKE ZPRDLBL. If I define TYPE instead of LIKE I get the error message saying "FLAT TYPES may only be referenced using LIKE for table parameters".
In the main window I have created LOOP, in which I have ticked the internal table and
LT_PRDLBL INTO LT_PRDLBL. In the text node I am passing the values of this internal table
&LT_PRDLBL-XXXX&.
I am able to get the print but the data is not printing.
Please help me with this.

I know for downloading the Application server file into itab is "SUBST_GET_FILE_LIST" FM and using open dtaa set we get the data.

Also as Gautham suggested you can use tcode CG3Z or CG3Y incase you are looking to upload the data directly.
FInally, you can search SCN using the keywords, "Upload to AL11" and you'll get loads of results.

                In FInancial Accounting , Period is during time that you post G/L account and you have to close period after end of period and you will see the balance each G/L Account in each period.
                 There are 12 normal period and 4 special period (normal case , but can be changed by configuration ). normal period are Jan , Feb ,...Dec and Special period are the extended period that use for posting in special case .For example if you close period in Dec and you have to adjust G/L Account by auditor checking , you can post G/L Account to special period . special period are 13,14,15,16. 12 may use for Audit , 13 may use for changing after Sending to audit and found something mistake . that 's sample.
              normally there is posting date to control the period (BUDAT) in the table BSIS. if the posting date is in the during time of period , we can say this posting is in that period .

Can we display only the required columns dynamically?

Hi All,
I have a scenario where in I have 30 columns in the rtf template. All the columns will never be displayed, only a select few will be available for display. So the output file is show blank columns. Now I want to display only the columns which contain data.
FYI- We cannot know which columns consist data until we run the report.
Any Advice.

The @column will tell XMLP wheater or not the column shall be shown.

Compare the new value with the old value. If it differs, then it is changed. For primitives you can use == to compare and for objects you can use Object#equals() to compare.

I have a question related to query creation.
I hve one Infoset which was built on top of Opportunities data and Activities data cubes. Tthey are linked using Opportunity GUID. And in the query I am displaying the Opportunity ID(from Opportunity cube), Sales order Number from the Activities data and a keyfigure No of Doc headers from the opportunities cube. Everything is fine. I want to display One Opportunity ID and One Activity associated with it. I mean I want to display only the activity ID which is very recent. But the query displays all the activity IDs which are associated with the opportunity ID. We are not using any time characteristics too as the query has to display all the data that is there in the cubeI just want to see the recent activity that has got updated into the cube. Kindly advice on how to achieve this..

try to do some restriction by using request ID (0requid) and variable 0S_RQMRC (Most current data on 0requid).
for example a restriction on activiy id by most current request ID.

Updating pie graph with the pivot table data.

on the same page through the same view object, this view object was created through

I need to update the pie graph through the pivot table data.

BPM can be used to validate and update tables. You can have a transformation step in BPM to validate, and either a JDBC or RFC adapter to update XI table...depending on if the table is an ABAP table or table create outside of ABAP using the vendor's dba tools.
As for sending file based on counter or timestamp in the name, you can develop a simple adapter user-module using java which can retrieve the file name(s) being processed. If the name satisfy the rules you have, then proceed, or else terminate the processing in the adapter.

In one of my list there are 33,000 records.
It gives message "Displaying only the newest results below. To view all results, narrow your query by adding a filter."
I don't want to change my threshold limit. Can anybody please tell me steps to resolve this issue?

I have a list of 11,000 items. Even though I have setup filters on it and it shows all 10 records based on that filter, it still shows that warning on top. For some items, even with those filters, I don't see the list items at all. How do I deal with
this situation. I don't want to change my threshold limits from CA either. Please help.
