DNCompInfo.dll : Error message in debug window

Hello
I am currently working on a DLL, which is loaded by an Labview program.
Today, I allways see the following message in the debug window of Visual Studio:
<mda:msg xmlns:mda="http://schemas.microsoft.com/CLR/2004/10/mda">
<!--
-->
<mda:loaderLockMsg break="true"/>
</mda:msg>
I can not remeber to see this ever before. Do you know, what's the reason for this mesage?
The message appears, when I stop working with the program.

Hello
I try to explain what I am exactly doing.
We have an application, which is build in Lab View. This application uses a DLL
to communicate to a special hardware, which is written by me in Visual C (Version
6.0). We do not use .NET in the DLL, nor explicit in the Lab View application (maybe
Lab View uses it internally, I do not know).
The message appears, when I stop working with the program. I exit the
application, and I can see several messages in the Debug Window of Visual C about
unloading DLL’s and exit threads, which is OK. The last message of this kind is
the message I am talking about.
I try to
translate it, maybe it will become more clearly to you:
“The DLL <DNCompInfo.dll>
tries to execute managed code inside the lock from the OS-loader. Do not try to
execute managed code inside of DllMain or Image-initialisation (?), because this
can hang/lock/crash (?) the aplication. “
So I hope, this
will become clearer now. The message only appears in the Debug Window, so I
think a “normal” user will never see it.

• C:\Windows\ehome\ehuihlp.dll Run DLL error message

When I start my laptop (HP Pavilion dv6-3120us Entertainment Notebook; 64-bit operating system; AMD Turion II P540 dual-core processor, 2.40 GHz) , the following Run DLL error message appears: "There was a problem starting C:\Windows\ehome\ehuihlp.dll.
The specified module could not be found." I wonder if this is related to my uninstalling (or attempting to uninstall) Windows Media Center, because it would take such a long time to open, and I didn't know how to disable it from automatically starting.
Do I need to reinstall the file? I don't think I have any original software separate from what came with the laptop. I do have a Recovery Disc Set from Feb. 2011. Is there another way I can download the file and/or fix this?
Thanks.
SL

Thanks very much for the reply. I did uninstall the software by using the Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel. I went in and unchecked the box for Windows Media Center and when I rebooted, the message didn't come up again.
I also started getting another similar DLL error message, but it was under our Users folder: AppData\Roaming\newnext.me\nengine.dll. I unchecked it ("Next Live") the same way as for the Windows Media Center and when I rebooted, it didn't come up. I didn't
uninstall or do anything else, so do I need to do so? (I don't know what "Next Live" is.)
Thank you,

• HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series - error message -Bad image windows\system 32\d3d 10 warp.dll

I use the HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series printer with my laptop and a desktop PC. It works fine with the laptop but when I installed the software onto the desktop the window error message Bad Image Windows\ System 32\d3d 10 warp.dll kept popping up every few minutesd. By a process of ilimination I discovered that it was the Photo Creations that was causing the problems, when I removed it all was good and I was able to use the printer. The only problems is that I now cannot print photos from my pc. I have windows 7.
Can anyone help please?

Hi Chris.
That error message comes from Direct3D, which is part of the DirectX software in Windows. It appears that part of the DirectX environment on your computer is corrupt. Microsoft provides a diagnostic tool that should help you sort this out. Please see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/run-directx-diagnostic-tool
If that does not solve the issue, you may want to reinstall the device driver for your graphics adapter.
When all's running smoothly, you can reinstall HP Photo Creations to print again. Our customer support team would be happy to help with the reinstallation. You can reach them at www.hp.com/global/us/en/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/support-form.html
Hope this helps,

Hello aristilus2,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with iTunes. I suggest removing and reinstalling iTunes for the issue you described. The following article has steps to do this, and I recommend removing iTunes and all related componenets as outlined in the article:

• ATMLIB.dll error message

Is there a fix for ATMLIB.dll error messages (not designed to run on Windows)?

I was able to fix this, and I posted about it on another forum post here
I had this issue ("Bad Image: C:\Windows\system32\ATMLIB.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error") with Adobe Reader X (10.1.12). I tried repairing, and then tried uninstalling and upgrading to Adobe Reader XI (11.0.9), but still had the same trouble. I compared the atmlib.dll files in both directories and noticed that the file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 did not appear to have any file meta data (giving the appearance that it was corrupted), whereas the file in C:\Windows\system32 reflected a file version 5.1.2.238 and product version "5.1 Build 238". Now, it appears based on being installed to "C:\Program Files (x86)" that the version of Adobe Reader I was using was 32-bit. So, this tells me that while the error references the C:\Windows\system32 file path, it is likely actually the file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 that is the problem (Windows-on-Windows emulation for 32-bit applications, 32-bit libraries actually reside in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, not C:\Windows\system32). I found the same file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 with the same product and file version on another 64-bit Windows 7 workstation, and simply copied it to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 on the affected workstation, and that resolved the issue.
NOTE: To overwrite the file, I had to change file ownership to Administrators security group, otherwise it was immutable.

• "unable to load wingenerator.dll" error message in Captivate 4

Has anyone run into the "unable to load wingenerator.dll" error message in Captivate 4. I didn't see this type of error in v3...so just wondering if it is an issue with this version. I have to save my project after every change in order to not loose my work. I get this error and then the program crashes without saving my work.

Hello Cat,
Welcome to our community. This sounds like the Windows registry has either become corrupt or has an incorrect permission. If you are using Windows XP then you might want to take a look at the following blog post

If you are using Windows Vista then I would suggest that you contact Adobe using the Adobe Captivate Feature Request/Bug Report Form

• Here are the instructions on how to fix the newest update problem with the .dll error message:, Here are the instructions on how to fix the newest update problem with the .dll error message:

Go to My Computer, Uninstall Programs, and uninstall in this exact order :
Itunes
Apples Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour (my system required a reboot on this one)
Apple Application Support
Reboot your computer, go to the official Itunes website (make sure it's the Apple Itunes Website and not some other one!), and reinstall Itunes.
I got the same .dll error message after the reinstall, but my Itunes was downloaded successfully and I was able to Sync my phone. : )
Good luck to you and God Bless!
(Sad that we have to come to the Discussion Forum to figure this all out instead of Apple taking care of their business and helping us out, huh?)

Someone else said they did a system restore to a previous update, and then a java update and that worked for them, saying they were going to stick with the earlier version of itunes until they get the bugs out of the new one. I t tried restores and that didn't work for me either, but maybe it will work for you. Good luck and I hope you get it working soon..

• How i can display default error message in alert window

how i can display default error message in alert window
i.e.,
i have a text field with datatype Alpha
if i am giving numbers.etc then it is displaying
FRM-50001: Acceptable characters are a-z,A-z and space
I want to display this message in alert window
please tell how to do this

In the on-error trigger :
Capture error_code and error_text in a variable.
Set the alert title to something meaningful.
Set the alert message equal to the captured error information.
Display the alert.
declare
v_alert varchar2(100) := 'ERROR' ; -- name of alert to use
v_title varchar2(100) := 'Error !' ; -- text to display as title
v_msg varchar2(200) := error_code || ':' || error_text; -- message to display
v_btn number ; -- button pressed
begin
set_alert_property( v_alert, TITLE, v_title );
set_alert_property( v_alert, ALERT_MESSAGE_TEXT, v_msg );
v_btn := show_alert( v_alert );
end;
