Do we have the provision to poll the coherence server?

hi,
Do we have the provision to poll the coherence server for a particular type of object. Suppose if I have a structure Sample.
Can I register the struct Sample with coherence server and let me know when ever it got inserted into the DB?
I am seeing this in one of the documents.
Coherence allows you to register interest in a specific cache, a specific item, or even a specific subset of the data within the cache using a query.
You can specify if you are interested in cache insertions, updates or deletions only, as well as whether you would like to receive the old and the new cache value with the event.
As the events occur in the cluster, your application is notified and can take the appropriate action, without the need to poll the server.
How can we register the specific item with coherence.

Yes. Assuming you are using Flex and Flash Builder, in Flash Builder, create a new MXML Skin.
Right click a directory in your profject (it is a good idea to create a new skins package. They multiply quickly)
Choose a name for the skin
Choose a Host Component for the skin (button, slider, scroller, videoplayer, etc.)
Make sure you "Create As Copy Of" a specific skin class (whether it be the base skin, such as ScrollerSkin, or a skin subclass, such as VScrollBarSkin)
Create
Add in your own MXML Spark components. You can either use the ones already present in the skin as a base or overwrite them entirely. It's entirely up to you.
