Does and how osb 11g support WLST scripts
Does 11g support WLST scripts to import and export OSB configuration?
Here are the old ones (as I see, dated 03.03.2009). For old 10.3 they worked perfectly.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/soa/service-bus/collateral/osbsamples.html
In new release names of few libraries changed (e.g. from com.bea.common.configfwk_1.2.1.0.jar to com.bea.common.configfwk_1.3.0.0.jar), so I simply changed the names in my scripts to use them for 11g. It didn't work. Old scripts (with old libs) don't work for 11g either.
So my question is does OSB still support this kind of deploying, and how can I do that?
Thanks in advance.
@ frf
Is it working for you ? The scripts are running fine for me but the values are not geting changed.
This is my custom xml which is created

<cus:replacement>http://192.20.51.150:7001/business/ValidateCoverage/ValidateCoverageService</cus:replacement>

But import.py is simply not replacing the values in the WSDL

Create Customization File in OSB 10g with WLST script
Is it possible to create a customization file the same as created from the OSB console with a WLST script?
Can someone show me the syntax to do this? I need to turn this request around quickly and don't have time for a lot of trial and error.
Edited by: DoubleT on Sep 29, 2009 6:44 PMI resolved my problem. The solution is follow (Java language):
Set<Ref> domainRefs = alsbConfMB.getRefs(businessServiceQuery);
EnvValueQuery evquery = new EnvValueQuery(null, // search across all
// resource types
envValueTypesToSearch, domainRefs, // search only in found refs.
false, // Search all resources
null, // the string we want to replace
false // not a complete match of URI.
Collection<QualifiedEnvValue> founds = alsbConfMB.findEnvValues(evquery);
List<QualifiedEnvValue> qualifiedEnvValueList = new ArrayList<QualifiedEnvValue>();
for (QualifiedEnvValue qev : founds) {
if (qev.getEnvValueType().equals(EnvValueTypes.SERVICE_URI)) {
qualifiedEnvValueList.add(qev);
EnvValueCustomization projectEnvValsCustomization = new EnvValueCustomization("Customizations File for businss services ", qualifiedEnvValueList);

Can someone explain the OCI cocncept to me, what it does and how to use it?
Bit a newbie question, but whta does the OCI do, and how does it work.Start from the base.
Peterhttp://www.orafaq.com/faqoci.htm
"The Oracle Call Interface (OCI) is a set of low-level APIs (Application Programming Interface Calls) used to interact with Oracle databases. It allows one to use operations like logon, execute, parse, fetch, etc. OCI programs are normally written in C or C++, although they can be written in almost any programing language." -
How to handling ecxeptions on alv and how to write subrotiens on scripts
Hi abapers..
tell me how to handle ecxeptions on ALV, and how many exceptions are there ,which exception i have to use.
AND is it possible to write subrotiens on script, if it is possible tell to me how to writeThere are already enough Exceptions provided for ALV .
yes you can write sub-routines in scripts , search SDN and you will get answer for the same -
This only started happening fairly recently. It happens fairly regularly and randomly. I am usually working on another page on a different tab or webpage at the time. I have tried stopping 3rd party JavaScript, but it seems to make no difference.
I am tired of having to click "Stop Script" all the time. I also have no idea what this script does ... or is supposed to do.Try the Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there. <br />
''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
* You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
''Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."''
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Purging OSB Alerts using WLST scripts
Hi,
I am using the below script to purge the OSB Alerts. I am connecting to the OSB managed server to purge the alerts.
*# Connect to server*
* connect(weblogic,welcome,intdev:8011)*
* # Calculate the start and end time for purging the alerts*
* now=System.currentTimeMillis()*
* startTime=0*
* endTime=(now - days*3600*24*1000)*
* # Purging the Alerts*
* serverRuntime()*
* print "Deleting records older than", days, "days from OSB Alerts"*
* print cmo*
* alsbAlerts = cmo.getWLDFRuntime().getWLDFAccessRuntime().lookupWLDFDataAccessRuntime('CUSTOM/com.bea.wli.monitoring.alert')*
* numDeleted = alsbAlerts.deleteDataRecords(startTime,endTime,"")*
* print "No. of Alerts deleted =", numDeleted*
* # Disconnect from the domain*
* disconnect()*
I am getting the below error while executing the script

The components that make up WLDF will be targeted to a single managed server in a clustered environment or to the Admin server in a single server environment. To establish what managed server this is, check to see where the WLI Aggregator application is targeted to. The WLDF data will be stored under this single managed server in the following location: //domain_name/servers/server_name/data/store/diagnostics/Check that on which server WLI Aggregator application is targeted and connect to that server from your script.

Sorry folks, after just posting this question, I just figured it out...in settings under notifications, I simply had to turn it on! Duh!

How to parse a xml file within a WLST script
Hi all,
I'm using ALSB2.6 and I'm writing a WLST script that should read config info from a xml file and create an ALSB prj.
I got an error when I call:
xmldoc = minidom.parse(sock).documentElement
The code:
print '#### IPEventConfigFile: ', IPEventConfigFile
IPEventConfig = loadXML(IPEventConfigFile)
where
def loadXML(source):
sock = open(source)
xmldoc = minidom.parse(sock).documentElement
sock.close()
return xmldoc
The error:
[java] #### IPEventConfigFile: /products/software/terraferma/release3/EventBus/repository/events/DummyEvent/resource/DummyEvent-IPEventConfig.xml

I'm trying to understand where I'm wrong.
Thanks in advance
ferpUsing the SAXParser in JAXP the parsing of the XML file is event driven.
Instantiate the parser:
SAXParserFactory factory = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
SAXParser parser = factory.newSAXParser();
InputSource is = new InputSource(new FileReader(theXML));call the parse method:
parser.parse(is, this);The following events are fired as the parser works through the XML public void startElement(String namespaceURI, String localName, String qName, Attributes atts) throws org.xml.sax.SAXException
public void endElement(String namespaceURI, String localName, String qName) throws org.xml.sax.SAXException
characters(char[] ch, int start, int length)etc.
You write what you want within each of these sections to handle the structure of your data. Keep in mind SAX is useful only when you know the structure of your XML. -

How osb handle end point offline for long time
Hi all,
In my project, the messages will be sent real time to distributed client, each client is only have one end point, so there is no load balancing could be applied. I already set the retry count, iteration interval and also offline endpoint URIs setting. Will it sufficient, in case the client hang or offline in long time, 2 hours or longer?
How osb keep the message, will the frequent retry process causing performance issue?
Any suggestion for proper configuration in this case?
Really thanks in advanced.
Regards,
Mr.Konly have one end point, so there is no load balancing could be applied. I already set the retry count, iteration interval and also offline endpoint URIs settingYes rety retry count is efficient when the interval are low..2 hrs or longer is little longer for stateless routing which OSB does.
How osb keep the message, will the frequent retry process causing performance issue?Yes. I guess... OSB will be doing some thing like RequestThread.sleep(...).Again this will be transport to transport related
Any suggestion for proper configuration in this case?Using such long intervals might not scale up
