Does anybody else find itunes has become really slow and unresponsive since the lastest version upgrade?

Does anybody have any ideas to help with Itunes? its become slow and useless sine upgrading to the latest version. i can still download at normal speeds from the site but initial opening and navigation are painfully slow.

MBP has become very slow and unresponsive even when I'm typing. When playing media it skips to the point that I can not listen to ANY of my music files with out it pausing every few seconds. The movies freeze and skip as well. I've ran the disk veryfication, started in safe mode and even deleted the catches. Now Im lost and dont know what els I can do. Help anyone??

Does anyone else find Firefox V.23 extremely slow and laggy vs V.21?

I was and am curently using V.21 now. I had updated to the latest V.23 and it was absolutely horrible. Normaly, Firefox is the FASTEST of all mobile browsers on my HTC Rezound since the Android 4.0.3 update. But FF 23 has so much lag. The FPS seemed like it had been cut to half speed. The load times on full desktop facebook was ok, but scrolling and zooming speeds were unacceptable. Seemed like a frame limiter was put in place. Script loads were VERY slow. Scrolling felt like it was dragging a ball and chain around... uninstalled and went right back to V.21. oh what a relief that was lol....

Newest beta is a little better than V.23 , but still quite slow FPS with much screen blur scrolling and zooming. I can see a huge difference in scrolling/zooming speed when coming back to V.21 ...that is V.21 is much faster than V.23 and newest Beta. Newest beta also has similar loading time lag after scrolling like V.23 .Whatever you are using, your handset must have some different kind of CPU instruction set. Maybe its the Adreno GPU that a lot of these browsers dont think to optimise for. See, a lot of other people don't have the same problems I have with a majority of browsers since my Rezound got the ICS 4.0.3 update. I can't use the stock browser, Dolphin or Boat Browser on most websites because they lag and freeze like crazy unusable.... that's why I have stuck with Firefox only. And probably with V.21 for awhile til they get this straightened out.

Hey, Just yesterday my macbook started playing up on me, before hand it was running fine.
It has started becoming ridiculously slow. Whether it's turning on, logging in or
just on the desktop it is extremely slow. Whenever I try to do anything as simple as clicking
on something the screen freezes and stops responding for a minute or so and gets the
"spinning wheel of death". I can still move the cursor (which is now the ball) whilst its frozen
but nothing else moves or responds. Once the mac starts responding again the same happens
over again if I try to do or click anything else.
I have tried cleaning up my mac, emptied the trash, cleaned the desktop etc. It still doesn't fix
anything. I have around 24g free of about 75g.

That confirms the hard disk requires replacement. There is nothing you can do about it until you return to school.
If you want to attempt a repair using your sister's Mac you need a FireWire cable with the proper connectors on each end. Connect the two computers, restart yours in Target Disk Mode by holding the T key as you start it, and run Disk Utility on your sister's Mac. The option to repair your hard disk will appear.
I don't believe the error you describe will be repairable.
If you have any information on the computer that you do not want to lose forever, copy those files from your computer to your sister's Mac. Since the disk is already damaged some or all of your data may already be lost.

Ios 4.3.5 update.Wifi has become really slow on iphone 4

After updating to ios 4.3.5 the Wifi has become really slow...the same connection works like ligtning on my computer but it has started taking **** of time in iphone 4.
I haven't jailbroken ,neither I have unlocked my phone.
please help.

My phone's wifi has become pretty much unusable since I upgraded to 4.3.5 two days ago. The connection is intermittent and in addtion it will not reconnect once it has disconnected, I have to reboot the phone before it will reconnect to the wifi and that only works sometimes. Everything worked fine till I upgraded to 4.3.5.
I rely on wifi at the office for business purposes to save on carrier usage costs.
Thank you Apple for screwing it up again and letting me fit the bill for the carrier data overages I will be incurring till you fix this mess. I wish I had not bought this piece of junk. I am really angry and frustrated and I am sure I am not the only one. I was looking at iPads for my field service techs, definetly I will NOT be considering this any longer. I will nevery buy another Apple product ever again.
My reaction is not based only on this single incident. I had issues with wifi and blutooth in some previous versions of the iPhone software. I never had such problems with my Blackberry Bold 9000, the wifi and blutooth were rock solid. Seems Apple just cannot get it right.

No problem with Safari here.
Empty your Safari cache and try resetting Safari.
Not enough free space on the startup disk can slow the system down including browsers.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you always have a minimum of 15% free disk space.

with your cc apps you should try to use the sync feature. that's never worked consistently for me, but when it does work, it's helpful.
there are preference folders and presets and settings that you could copy but you're better off installing fresh because a common problem for people with adobe program issues is a settings issue.

As a extra precaution I would copy the user file folders of Music, Documents, Pictures etc to another external drive and disconnect, just in case.
Always maintain TWO backups of your data at all times, since your messing with one, you need another until your back at two again.

If this started happening without your having made any changes and without a warning of low disk space, then it's likely that the startup drive, or some other hardware component, is failing. Back up all data immediately, then run Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test.
Even if the test is negative, you should make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested more thoroughly.

Itunes 11.1.1 slow and unresponsive

Since updating Itunes it has been very slow and unresponsive when trying to look at my podcast list. It is also automatically downloading the latest episode even though my selection is set to off.

noticed the same thing after i upgraded. after clicking on podcasts library itunes would freeze additionally when clicking on my iphone in itunes and selecting the podcast tap, itunes would beachball for 20-30 seconds. So I opened activity monitor and noticed everytime I selected podcast library or the podcasts to sync under the device network activity would skyrocket and itunes would freeze until it completed. It only occurs with podcasts.... Out of curiosity I turned wifi off, connected ethernet -> same prolem. The interesting part is if I disconnect ethernet and disable wifi everything is lightning fast, no delays, and no apparent issues other than the fact you cannot download new episodes.

One possibility is that your hard drive has become full to the point that it is hindering the speed of your MacBook. Many experts believe that your hard drive should have about 15% of its space free.
You can check your hard drive's free space by selecting it on the desktop and then typing command + i (or going to the File menu and selecting Get Info.) In the information that appears look for the capacity and available space.
If it turns out that disk space is part of your issue, you may want to see about reducing the amount of disk space in use on the hard drive. Let us know, there are a number of things you can do for this.

My MacBook has become too slow with almost all the applications and with Mail it it worst. Almost like hang.

I am using MacBook with 4GB RAM and 500GB hard disc, 2.26GHz CPU, Mountain Lion OS. The machine has become so slow it hamperes lots of work as with almost all the application it beclome unresponsive and hang like.
Also disc permission changes over the period of time and need to clean it. After clean it, it improves a bit but the Mail function which is ridiculously slow. Address book never function to remove duplicate.
Kindly ifnorm the solution if anybody have.

If you do a safe boot, holding the shift key down while booting, do you have the performance issues? If not, check your login items as well as any software listed at the bottom of the System Preferences pane. A software incompatibility could cause performance issues. Note a safe start will take longer than a normal start.
