Several ways to get similar results. Image > Adjustments > Posturize with low values similar to what you'd use n Cutout. This is the most flexible way I can think of as you keep the image in RGB mode with layers intact. A more radical approach would be to reduce bit depth using Indexed Colour. You'll need to experiment with settings, try changing Forced to Primaries, and Matte to Foreground Color. There's no going back from this route, although you can change the mode back to RGB to re-enable layers, adjustment layers etc.
A nice thing about the Filter gallery filters is that you can change the layer to a Smart object with all the control that gives you.
Now if only this forum could filter out bizarre content.

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

I have a Windows copy of Photoshop Elements 11, but the serial number has been lost. I didn't buy the product and I am unable to find the box. As far as I know, it's never been used so has not been registered. Does anyone know how the serial number can be recovered under these circumstances?
If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

Hi,does anyone know how the Iwatch will play music when it is not near a bluetooth device as it is stated in the feature setting..Icloud streaming,internal hard drive?
I did not hear them state the feature requirements directly in the streaming even but there are statements on the Apple website that clearly say that an iPhone is necessary. I'm guessing that other than Bluetooth for pairing with the iPhone, it's just not technically possible to fit any other radios such as WiFi or LTE into that form factor or battery capacity. I don't even remember them mentioning if it had a speaker or could pair directly with bluetooth headphones.
While I'm hoping that the watch has a reasonable stand-alone feature set, they didn't make it clear what exactly it can and can't do without an iPhone nearby. I also hope that they communicate this better in the coming days. -
I've updated the software on my Macbook to the most recent version; regretting it now; and iPhoto has now become the Photo's app.
The problem is I can no longer back up my photo and video files taken on my phone, saved to my mac, by copying them and saving them on a USB stick or other external hard drive.
I could easily do this with iPhoto, but now Photos app does not let me copy the files when I select them.

Select the photos and videos in Photos and use the command "File > Export" and select a folder on your USB stick to save the photos to. -

1. Check with your service provider and take advanatge of any spam filter settings they have, or blacklisting options they may offer.
2. You could get a gmail account, and set your current account to forward to it - then let gmails filters catch as much of it as possible. That will let you keep your current email address in use with those you want to be using it. -
Does anyone know how the podcasts app is supposed to work?
The podcasts app with iOS 7 is drively me absolutely and completely crazy.
1.I try to sync podcasts between my core iTunes library and two iDevices.
I sync a whole bunch of podcasts from my iTunes library. At some point, they randomly disappear. I come to the support communities were the general consensus is to remove iTunes from the equation. I do that. I resubscribe to all of my podcasts on my phone. I go through the tedium of downloading all the old episodes, clicking each episode one-by-one since there is no button to "download all". It works, sort of, but episodes don't sync across all devices. Finally, I decide I'd be content if it just worked on ONE device.
2. I resubscribe to all my podcasts on my iphone only.
Everything works, sort of, for awhile. Then one day I make the mistake of connecting my phone to my computer. The sync process decides to remove some (but not all) of my podcasts. Even those that haven't been listened to are gone. They are still available through "download old episdoes".
But I don't WANT to download them again. I already have, three or four times. Worse yet is when they're replaced with the stupid cloud symbol. Look, I want to listen to these AWAY from the cloud, away from the internet.
I'm just 100% baffled by what the intent of this app is. I have "Subscription - off" and "Refresh podcast - manually" on. I am about to re-tag all podcasts as simple songs simply to get away from the irritating podast app.

I bought a magic mouse, was told it works with the iPad, how can I get it too?
A mouse, which is a pointing device, will not work with an iPad...there is no cursor for the mouse to move around. You must use the touch screen.

I haven't been able to use itunes for months. I can't get itunes to open on my pc. I recently got a new ipod and I really want to copy some music from cd's. I've tried uninstalling/installing itunes, quicktime. This shouldn't be this hard...should it? I am far from technically savy and could really use some practical help. Help!

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure. -
I just recently got a new laptop with windows 8 and downloaded itunes 11.0.2. I downloaded my tv shows from the cloud to the laptop and the playback was awful...the audio was fine but the video is choppy and couldn't keep up with the audio. I thought maybe it was because I downloaded it from the cloud and it was a different version of itunes so I downloaded different TV shows from the store and it was the same problem. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

II've had my ipad with retina display for about a 1 now and everything was fine In till I got my iphone 4s and put them on the same account then my ipad stopped letting me log in to my FaceTime and iMessage and it doesn't let me update my apps and dosnt let me log in to iCloud ever since I got my phone and put them on the same account does anyone know how I could fix it and still be able to connected to my iphone??

i got new iphone and when i connect it to my pc, it lost all my current data and replaced it with the backup on my computer, which is from april. so i have lost all my calendar information and schedule. does anyone know how i can reverse this and get my information back?
Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Desktop) does not work properly. The application is blocked : it could not be launch neither stopped. I'm on MAC Yosemite OS, does anyone know how to remove it properly or to force its stop. It does not appear in the launched applications.
I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.
