Does anyone know if Apple are planning on releasing a new version of the iPad in 2013? I want to buy one, but would rather wait to get the latest one if they are planning on a release of a newer version later this year.
BEFORE JUST REJECTING MY QUERY, AS A POTENTIALLY NEW CUSTOMER I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME FORM OF AN ANSWER!!
I want to buy an iPad (my first one), but would rather wait a couple of months to get the latest one if they are planning on a release of a newer version later this year. I certainly cannot afford to buy one now and then update when a newer model comes out, especially if it's released only a couple of months from now.
The latest one came out just 4 months ago. Doubt one is coming out soon.
There are always going to be people who are one day out of their return period when a new device comes out, and that's just that. No one can predict. And we are all just users here who would have no idea. But I would get an iPad now given the last one came out four months ago.

There already are some tools in the App Store (eg. My Medical - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-medical/id347860026?mt=8).
If you mean something that would interact directly with a Hospitals main system or such, I don't know of any. There are numerous companies now selling and setting up central records systems around the country, but I don't know of any that are working on companion patient tools yet.
Some charity and non-profit companies, like MedicAlert Foundation are working on such things and may have mobile apps on their radar, as funds allow them to develop such thing. MedicAlert already offers an EMIR service online, but no standalone mobile app for it yet (you manage it via their web portal).
Epocrates (owned by Athena Health) might also have something in the works, or at least an interest in such a thing. -
Does anyone know if Apple TV will be supporting Amazon Prime streaming?
I have found that my Apple TV streams Netflix more reliably than my Sony Blu-Ray and would like to stream my Amazon Prime but currently Amazon Prime is not aupported in the Apple TV software. Does anyone know if Apple will be supporting it?
We are just users here so no one would know and speculating on it would be against the terms of this forum.

Apple does not take trade-ins. In a few countries Apple does work with a company who will give you some return on an existing device; for the US, see:

Similar programs are available in a few other countries, and some dealers may have their own trade-in programs. But you most probably can get more for your device if you sell it yourself.

Does anyone know when Apple is going to fix the bug with transfering voice memos from the IPhone 4 to itunes on a computer. I waisted a lot of time trying to figure out why it was not working. Then I read some comments about other people having the same issues.

apple boosted of 200 improvements/changes to ios 6. I have yet to find more than 15. does anyone know where these can be found? I hate not running an os I don't want, but after hearing about ios 7, I think 6 is the lesser of 2 evils and installed it.

Not a 4G. Thats something I have never seen before. But then again, the thinner 4G wouldn't be able to sit still in the case of a bulky 2nd or 3rd gen. So if it isn't sliding and its in original packaging, I would trust it. No one would go through the trouble to spend money to make a mold to stick a knockoff in a case. I say its fine. How is it running?

Does anyone know how to turn off my Yahoo! email from popping up? Currently, my Yahoo! email pops up, but I have to go to Mail to get my gmail. I would love to switch this! Any thoughts?
It's all or nothing. You can to selectively get notifications for one account and not the others. As for g-mail, how do you have it set up? If it's not set to poll automatically, or set up as push (as an Exchange account), then you won't be notified until you maually open the mail client and pull it down.

If they're not authorized, make sure they give a warranty on the repair and hopefully have some good reviews on Google/Yelp etc.
Also make sure you test it when you get it back, it's common for the replacements to fail unfortunately (from Apple at least, probably anywhere). -
Pages 4.3 was a useful technical word processing program; Pages 5 is not. Does anone know is Apple intends to improve Pages 5 at least to the level of Pages 4.3?
We used 4.3 as an effective tool for thesis production but in many ways it has become kind of a simplistic joke. Sad indeed and I wish there was some evidence they were remotely concerned. PeterBreis0807's response of "No" is spot on. We will continue to use 4.3 as long as it works as a time-saving substitute for Word.

There is a somewhat clunky way to do it. First, go into your mail (Settings - Mail/Contacts/Calendars) and turn off (dont' disable) any accounts you don't want to be seen. Then go into Restrictions - Accounts and select "Don't Allow Changes." This will prevent anyone from turning the mail back on. When you're ready to turn it back on, go into Restrictions and either Disable Restrictions or go into Accounts and select Allow Changes.
