Does Reader X have a 64 bit version?
I am having a specific issue with one web site using windows7 professional 64 bit os with IE 9 64 bit version and Reader X. The website does not recognize Reader X on 2 different pc's and wants me to download reader x again. I have even opened Reader X before going to the website without any change in response from the website. Every other browser including IE 9 32 bit work perfectly (firefox, chrome, maxthon, oprea and safari). I suspect that this problem might not be resolved until there are no 32 bit programs left in existance.
There is no 64-bit version of Adobe Reader, and no 64-bit plugin for web browsers.
What should happen if you click on a PDF link in a 64-bit browser is the document opening in an external Adobe Reader window.
Works fine on my Windows 7 x64 system on both IE9 and Waterfox.
I suggest that you try a repair installation (from Adobe Reader Help), or uninstall / reinstall Reader.

Itunes telling me I don't have the 64 bit version??
When I connect my iphone to itunes it says the correct software is not installed and that I should uninstall intunes and then reinstall the 64 bit itunes.
However, I already have the 64 bit version installed, it's version 10.6.3.
Any ideas how do I solve this?
Thanks,
AndyLet's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -

That usually indicates that your Apple Mobile Device Support has not installed. That's also what is being shown by the diagnostics (the driver is there but the application isn't).

I have been fighting with iTunes for the past few days. My wife deleted a file by "accident" and I have been working to get iTunes to work ever since. I have worked through numerous issues and managed to work through them all, but have now hit one that I can't and that I can't find a solution elsewhere. I have done the complete uninstall (complete meaning, very complete) and reinstall of the 64-bit version of iTunes several times now. The software works fine until I plug in my old iPhone (4). When I do, the software popps up with a message that says that I have the wrong version of iTunes and need to uninstall my current program and reinstall the 64-bit version. Anyone else out there had this happen and if so, what did you do???

Does Dreamweaver CS3 work with 64 bit version of Windows 7?
Windows 7, 64 bit, Home Premium was clean installed. I had no difficulty reinstalling Dreamweaver CS3, but when I try to open a file I get a message that says." A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Apparently none is. So my question is, does Dreamweaver CS3 work with the 64 bit version of Windows 7? If not, does CS4 work or would I be wasting money by upgrading?
I just installed it and ran it fine. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Make sure it is a clean install from a fresh "boot". I ran into problems the first time when I tried to install it right after I installed another program. I simply uninstalled it.....which took a long long time, but after it was removed and I rebooted, everything went fine.

Does Safari 5 come in 64 Bit Version?
I know adobe flash doesn't support 64 bit browsers but I was just wondering if Apple even had a 64 Bit version of Safari available for Windows?
Or is Safari only available in 32 Bit?
What about Mac OSX?The answer to the second part of your question is YES. On the Mac OS X 10.5.8 and higher, the Safari browser is a full 64bit app. However, it can still run 32 bit plug-ins because it sandboxes then in 32 bit threads.
Take a look at this screen shot.
http://gallery.me.com/rorwessels#100033/Screen-20shot-202010-06-18-20at-2019-34- 23&bgcolor=black
What you will see is that the Safari application is 64 bit. Further down you will see another process that is running in 32 bit and sandboxing the Flash Player plug-in. -
If youtube works on firefox 3.6.12 does that maean its the 32-bit version?
I want to know if I am using the 32-bit or 64-bit version
Mozilla are creating development 64 bit Windows versions but no time scale for an official release.
Applications that benefit the most from 64 bit are those that use computationally intensive algorithms such as Photoshop. Web Browsers will not benefit much from 64 bit, and in some situations can be slower. There are also currently only a few 64 bit plugins available for Windows, so you will need to use 32 bit Firefox in order to use many plugins. -
So when i plug in my iPhone 5 (all fully up to date etc), my itunes says: "This iPhone cannot be used, because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64bit version of iTunes." Now I have always had the 64bit version and still do, i have removed iTunes and installed this 64bit version that im supposedly missing 4 times now and it is still happening. Please help?
Hello AliHoward,
You may need to completely remove iTunes, QuickTime, and other Apple software from your system prior to reinstalling. The following articles (one for Windows XP, the other for Windows Vista/7) detail the removal process. I'll also link you to the latest version of iTunes for Windows (64bit specific installer).

Does Reader IOS have native external display support?
Without the jailbraking method, can Adobe Reader for IOS natively display to an external display?
CheersOn ipad 2 and later, all apps support mirroring using the iPad VGA cable. We've tested this configuration and it works well in our testing. You should also be able to use AirPlay (configured in the iPad settings).
