Does TREX keep a log of all search entries?

I would like to see what my users have tried to search for.  Does TREX keep a log of all search entries?

Hi Eric
Take a look at note 937055, I believe the described approach meets your requirements.
Also search the forum for "search statistics" eg. before posting. A search can often give you the solution right away. In this case a search for "search statistics" yielded this result: Need to report Search Statistics from TREX which might also be interesting for your future needs.
Kind regards,
Martin

After updating to Yosemite ITunes update does not keep me logged in all the time. What happen to staying logged in when I decide to logout? Thank you

Web sites usually remember you by using a cookie, either a traditional browser cookie or a Flash cookie. If you have set Firefox up to clear your history when you shut down, you may be deleting the site's cookie(s), thus making you anonymous upon your return.
The subject of cookies can trigger strong feelings, so you have a lot of options for how to handle cookies, including built-in choices, add-ons, etc. Rather than write out a very complicated set of options, could you I refer you to an article here:
    * [[Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer]]
If you have a specific idea for how you want Firefox to handle cookies, but you're not finding enough help around here, please post back on your objectives so we can help you implement it.

  • My safari does not keep my history despite all the settings and adjustment i made to the safari preferences so as to be able to keep my browsing history. the browsing history is wiped out whenever i close safari.

i use macbook pro mid 2012, OS X mavericks. my safari does not keep my history desp[ite all the adjustments made to the settings at safari preferences. my browsing history are cleared whenever i exit safari. i dont know why. i want to try and re - in stall it . the safari is version 7.0.1. but i dont know how.

If you're having trouble making changes to files that are inside your home folder (represented by a house icon in the sidebar of a Finder window), or if you can't get changes to the settings of an application to stick, then please see below.
    Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
    Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:
    { sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR..; sudo chown -R $UID:staff ~ $_; sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~ $_; chmod -R -N ~ $_; } 2>&-
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
    Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1 or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
    Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
    res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
    resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password dialog will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
In the dialog, select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if it's not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if it's not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
    Select
     ▹ Restart
    from the menu bar.

  • Why does Firefox keep me logged into websites after closing and reopening the browser?

As of today, Firefox has been behaving differently. Namely, when I close Firefox and reopen, I am still logged in to email and other sites. I have all of my privacy settings checked, such as clear history, offline data, form history, etc etc so that they all will be deleted upon closing but this has no effect. Can someone provide insight as to why this is happening and how I can correct it? Before today, after closing and reopening the browser I was required to log in to any sites requiring UN and PW.
I have rechecked all history deletion options to make sure all the appropriate ones were selected. Yesterday, I noticed inbox.com and a program called 24x7 Help were installed on the computer, without my knowledge. I promptly uninstalled them, but I'm not sure if they could somehow be responsible for the odd behavior.

Such a behavior indicates that you keep the cookie(s) that verify that you are logged on to a web server.
Are you using session restore to open those tabs automatically?
    * Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
You can set the <b>browser.sessionstore.privacy_level</b> pref to 2 (never) or 1 (non-HTTPS, default in Firefox 3 versions) on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable saving cookies via session restore.
You can change the browser.sessionstore.privacy_level_deferred pref that is used when you do not reopen the previous session automatically via "Show my windows and tabs from last time".

  • Does Safari maintain a listing of all searches?

I can only see the last 20 entries. Is there a way I can see my entire search history?
    Thank you!

    Hi C.
Thanks for your feedback. I am not sure whether or not I would be able to contact Oracle Sales, but anyway, I don't think it's a daunting task to create a list of the reports/graphs by Analytics if a Prospect is interested in going through the list too, first.
I hope if I go through the Shared folder and refer to the ".atr" files that should give the list of reports/graphs on Pages for the required Dashboards. Won't that help?
    Regards,
    Manoj.

  • Logged in all the time.

My Skype keeps me logged in all the time. I cannot log out. The only way I can log out of account #1 is to log in to account #2 on my Skype. It actually doesn't log me out when I press "Sign Out" or "Quit". Seems to be an isolated issue on my computer/desktop Skype, as the account I tried with is a new account that was never logged in to any other devices.
Anyone got any answers for this issue? It is really annoying  because I use skype for business and people think I'm working all the time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and it doesn't help much. I've only logged into that one account with my one computer.
So when I use /showplaces, it only shows 1 computer. If I use /remotelogout, nothing happens. I try to then sign off again from that account, and that account is still shown as logged on (on my friend's list).
It seems to be something wrong specifically with the Skype on this computer... every account I log into with this computer gets "stickied" into being online permanently. Doesn't happen with other computers logging into that account...

  • Logging out all users

To perform a back-up I want to log out all users. Currently I use the 'unloadapp' ESSCMD, but this does not seem to log out users who are currently retrieving data. As a result my back-up fails.Does the 'logoutallusers' command log of all users (active, inactive)?Regards,JG

Howdy! We do this via script for each application using the following essmsh syntax:"alter application appname disable connects;"This works great. We then re-establish any connections that we killed with the following statement:"alter application appname enable connects;"Hope this helps!JR

why do I have to log in all the time into iCloud every time in spite of clicking the "keep me logged in" box?

It is amazing that Apple does nothing about this.  It used to work before but this function (keep me logged in) stopped working a couple of months ago.  Many people seem to have the same problem but Apple seems unable to solve their own problems...

I have this excact problem too, Deleting the the app and then reinstalling it won't delete your photos as they are stored on facebooks servers. You will just have to remember you username and password to sign in again. Ever since Facbook bought instagram i have had this problem on my 4S too.
