Doing 3 methods in one implementation

hi all ,
there is option instead of doing this 3 methods to do one that can do the same for all objects
i cant using perform since this implementation is under class .

  • Does any one implemented solution for httpservlet request/response object in IWSDLInterceptor implemented class?

    I am trying to handle Producer not available situation in which I am using Interceptor IWSDLInterceptor in WLP 10.3.4. I am able to retrieve exception using onWSDLException but from here if I have to forward my pageURL object I need httpservlet request and response. I tried my own filter class to have its own customize request and also tried it out all other Interceptor to see if any one can handle IOException. I did manage to throw my own Customize exception but  that also did not work out as Page does not have any backing file or any supportive Controller class.
    Does any one implemented solution for httpservlet request/response object in IWSDLInterceptor implemented class? or do we have any specific documentation in regards to this? As I am not able to find much martial on IWSDLInterceptor except Java API from Oracle and article defining Two way SSL handshake Producer.
    Any kind of help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    PT

    Thanks Emmanuel for your response but render behavior is not available for IWSDLRequestContext/IWDSLResponseContext object which IWSDLInterceptor uses for implementation.
    Let me put my question in little simpler manner. May be my approach to the problem is not proper.
    Problem : Handle Producer Not available (no application exists on server) on consumer side.
    So far tried approach : Producer is not running then I am able to handle that TransportException at IInitCookieInterceptor/IHandleEventInterceptor onFault behaviour but in the case of Producer not even exists Consumer try to get WSDL fetch operation and failed with FileNotFoundException.
    To handle this exception, I used IWSDLInterceptor which is available under IWSDLInterceptor.OnWSDLException (Oracle Fusion Middleware Java API for Oracle WebLogic Portal)
    I am able to catch the exception but problem arise when application needs to forward at specific page/render portlet for this situation. For that it required request/response object but IWSDLInterceptor does not give any kind of instances to redirect request as there is no direct access to HTTPServlet request/response object.
    I tried my custom request object to use there. I tried out custom filter object of IWSDLrequestContext. nothing works.
    One approach works is to put producer WSDL file at consumer level. But in that, you need to handle different producer files for different environment. Which I don't think its a good approach.
    eAny one Let me know if my approach to the problem/scenario is wrong. Or if I am missing out any other supporting interface which also required to handle this scenario. or I am using wrong interface for this scenario.
    Thanks for your help in advance.

  • To what class does this method belong?

    If one sees in the documentation something like
    - (retType *) text1:(Type1 *)aType1 text2:(Type2 *)aType2;
    then to what class does this method belong? I do not see in the Objective-C documentation any way that one can tell without the 'context' in which the method is declared or defined. This makes reading the documentation very difficult (for me). What you see is not what you get. There is stuff missing.
    In my world there is no difficulty in determining the class to which a method belongs. It is stated explicitly in the method name. For example:
    PROCEDURE (self: MyClass) methodName (arg1: Type1; arg2: Type2);
    and one sees that 'methodName' belongs to 'MyClass'.
    In Objective-C how does one know the class to which a method belongs? Is it only determined by context, that is, by the fact that it is within the @implementation section or that it is within the @interface section? If that is the case then I would think that in documentation one should always be required to assert something like:
    <<MyClass>> -(retType *) text1:(Type1 *)aType1 ...

    PeeJay2,
    I think I now have the distinctions needed but still have a question about what you said. But first here is my current understanding. A "method" is by definition bound to *at least* one class whereas a "message" need not be bound to any class. Hence one can send any message to any class and it will either be handled or ignored. A message looks like a method signature (and maybe one but is not constrained to be one).
    The difference between C++ and Objective-C is that in C++ method calls are not messages sent to a receiver. They are just calls of the method for the dynamically bound object. That method must be syntactically correct at compile time whereas messages need not be syntactically correct for any receiver. At least that is my current understanding.
    Now my question. You state that "casting the receiver of a message will in no way alter the flow of the code". I attempted to test this with a simple program but ran into a problem (see my new posting "Multiple classes in one file?").
    Assume the following
    @class Child : Parent
    Child *child = [[Child alloc] init];
    Parent *parent = [[Parent alloc] init];
    Parent *bar;
    bar = child;
    [bar doSomething]; // (C) call to child's doSomething method?
    [(Parent *)bar doSomething]; // (P) call to parent's doSomething method?
    You comment seems to say that both case (C) and (P) give the same result. If they do then which result is it the parent's or the child's method (assuming that the child has indeed reimplemented the parent's method)? Have I understood you correctly?

  • Why to use Interface if methods are not implemented??

    Hello,
    I am having a problem to clearify as, why to use the interfaces which defines only methods and no implementation??
    When a class implements an interface the methods are implemented by the class itself, don't you think that the same functionality can be achieved if the class defined the method itself...
    The why to use interfaces, just that the same method name can be used by many classes or some other reasons..

    did you google on that? There is lots of information I am sure explaining why you code to an interface defined type rather than a class defined type.
    However, fundamentally you are correct, classes define their own type. The idea is that you use an interface because it allows you to have more than one implementation. Plus you can more easily change the structure of your program if you later wish if you did not use the class type directly.
    You get better answers if you ask in the Patterns forum below.

  • Can I Call method on one JVM from another through a dll?

    Let me explain.
    I have this java jar file that I can only have one instance of running at any given time. I'm using a shared data segment in a dll to store a bool indicating whether the program is already running or not. If it's already running, I have to not run the second instance and give focus to the current running instance.
    The jar file calls a native method "canInstantiate()" on a dll to see if there's already an app running. If there isn't, the env and obj are stored in the shared data segment of the dll and we return true. If there is already an instance of the program running, I want canInstantiate call a function on the current instance of the jar (like a callback) to tell it to request focus. It's not working. Can someone tell me if my code is right?
    The .h file
    #include "stdafx.h"

    Can I Call method on one JVM from another through a dll
    ...The rest of your question merely expands on your title.
    And the answer to that question is no.
    When you call a method you are executing a "thread of execution." A thread of execution exists only in a single process. It can not exist in another process.
    If the dll is doing some interesting things then you could call a method that sets a flag. Data can move between instances. But you would then have to have a thread in that different process monitoring that flag. And sharing data in a dll is not a normal process, so it would have to be coded appropriately.
    If all you want to do is set the current focus to the existing application, then that can be done with existing windows functionality. You don't need to do anything special in your dll. You can probably search these forums to find the exact code. If not there are countless examples in windows repositories (like MSDN) on how to do that.

    I tried to use jDriver for MSSQL and use the following jdbc code :
    stmt.prepareStatement(" SELECT xxxx FROM yyyyy WHERE zzzz = ? FOR UPDATE "

    stmt.setCharacterStream (n, value);
    Both get this exception : This JDBC 2.0 method is not implemented
    Is jDriver a JDBC 1.x driver only. Thanks.

    Yes, our MS driver is in fact jdbc1.0-compliant only. For a more
    current driver you can try the free one from MS, or www.inetsoftware.de

    ...Hi. That old driver is telling you the truth. That JDBC 2.0 method is not implemented.
    There has been no development of that driver since soon after the JDBC 2.0 spec was
    finalized. We provide the weblogic.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver in the 8.1 server,
    and heartily recommend you switch to it. It's a much superior driver, and has the

  • Method "equals" not implemented for class "Pan1"

    Method "equals" not implemented for class "Pan1" -- this is the error I'm getting while running one static Analyzer. Can anybody say, what is this error , and how to rectify it ?

    The static analyzer may have noticed that either you may invoke .equals() on instances of this class (possibly through polymorphism) and you have not implemented the method in your class. This is most likely a warning since many times lack of an implemented .equals() method in such cicumstances will lead to Object.equals() being executed and that simply checks to see if the object references are the same - quite a bit stronger than what one would probably expect from .equals();
    it is also possible that you did implement an equals() method but that you used the wrong argument type. This is a common mistake:
    public boolean equals(MyClass other) {
       return /* something */;
    }This type of warning may be ignored, or if it troubles you and there is no way to disable it for the classes that you know you have implemented correctly, you might consider adding an equals method of the form:
    public boolean equals(Object other) {
       return super.equals(other);
    }Chuck

  • Does Access key required to implement explicit Enhancement point

    Hi All,
    Does Access key required to implement explicit Enhancement point in Function module or source code or etc.
    please clarify..
    thanks
    Bhanu

    Thanks for your reply Mr. Bala..
    I think i have not asked question correctly.. what i mean to ask is "to create the explicit enhancement point in the method(Source code), does ACCESS KEY required".
    Because when i tried to create enhancement point at IMPLICIT enhancement option system is allowing to create but when i tried to create at other than IMPLICIT enhancement option(in the mid of source code ) system is not allowed and displayed following message :
    "In this mode, you can create implementations only"
    waiting for your reply..
    Thanks

  • Many Classes Vs Many Methods in one class

    Can any one tell me what are the advantages & disadvantages - and which is better?
    Having many methods (say about 15) in One class - about 10 doing various actions and not interrelated at all.
    Vs
    spliting the methods to be in their own classes, and instantiating them only when needed? Say in this case there could be about 10 classes thus created .
    Thanks

    >
    I have got a chance to rewrite the existing code that
    has about 75 "unrelated" methods in one class. ( do
    not throw me out of this community now).
    When I said, these methods should be put in their own
    class based on their own functionality and can be
    loaded only when it is called for. The counter
    argument from the tech arch (!!) here is - "Why not
    have it in one class? It works now". The tech arch is
    a cobal type developer.
    Hate to repeat what was said above (given the source) but.....
    an object is not merely a collection of methods,
    So far you have referred only to the methods.
    Are there any data members?
    If no then all you have is a collection of methods. You can of course still break them up but doing so doesn't necessarily mean it will be better. But in terms of the "tech arch" the impact is minimal. That of course doesn't mean that testing isn't required.
    On the other hand if there is data then breaking them up would be based on how the data is used by the methods. As for why you would do that, the reason for the "tech arch" would be because the reason for using an OO language is so that one can have objects. And that 'class' is not an object.

  • Sap business one implementation proposal template

    does anyone have sap business one implementation proposal template????

    Have yuou checked the partner portal? You should be able to find appropriate documents there?

  • Does anybody have a sample implementation of UserReaderMBean?

    Does anybody have a sample implementation of UserReaderMBean?
    It would be greatly appreciated

    You should start with the sample security providers available from dev2dev.
    In general, with the security sspi, you don't implement the mbeans directly - you write a provider class which contains the same method signatures as the mbeans, run that through the mbeanmaker, and that generates mbeans which delegate to your provider.
    Regarding the cursor, see http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/javadocs/weblogic/management/utils/ListerMBean.html
    Nobody says anything on what the cursor "should look like" - that's up to the implementor to decide. The motivation behind the cursor is that the list of users can be arbitrarily large and may not fit inside of memory. Therefore, the security provider needs to read in chunks of users at a time, and needs to have a way to refer to this list. Iterator pattern.
    Take, for example, 100K users stored in a db. Can't read them all into memory. Can read in chunks of 1K users in arrays, and use the cursor to contain the index into the array, and the name of the last user in the array. E.g, to start things off,
    select USER from USERS where ROWNUM < 1000
    and then, when you finish the first 1000 users off, do
    select USER from USERS where USER > ? and ROWNUM < 1000
    the ? in this case would be the name of the last user read off in the previous query.

  • Flash player does not work under one user account.

    Flash player does not work under one of my user accounts.
    My system: I work with a mac mini with Mac OS X 10.6.8.
    What I have done:
    I installed the flash player maybe one year ago under my "first" user account. At that time this user account had had administrator authorization. In the meantime I had to change this "first" user account in an account without administrator authorization and created an administrator user with which I installed different programms. Lately, the message came up that it would be necessary to update the flash player. I did it; under the "first" user account, but of course with the administrator's password for installing. The installation had been "successful" - so I was told. But it did not run. I tried it again and again. Each time with "deinstallation" first. No way; it did not work.
    After asking Adobe for the reason of the problem, they suggested to install the programm directly under the administrator user. I did that (of course after deinstalling under the "first" user account) with the result, that flash player runs under my administrator and my "second" user account, but not under the first user account. There I am always told to update my flash player.
    With this result, I talked to Adobe. So they told me to contact the producer of the operating software, since this would be a mistake of the operating software.
    And here I am - full of hope to get help from you.
    Thanks for reading. And thanks in advance for helping me.

    Any update to provide at all here guys?  Again, in my situation, it's very much rights-related as a standard user doesn't even report that the flash player exists when testing it on the Adobe Flash Version Detection website (despite it showing up in Control Panel and under Add/Remove Programs).  I've already tried giving the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed and files/subfolders appropriate permissions for the standard user and still nothing.  If I either give the user in question full local admin rights or logon as the domain admin, then the Adobe Flash Version Detection website says Flash is installed and Flash works fine.
    Thoughts???
