Domain Error with Network Chat
Since this afternoon, I have been able to sucessfully iChat with all the macs in my house. When I got home 5 minutes ago, and tried to log onto iChat, an error popped up
Lost connection to Bonjour
NSNetServices error -72000, domain 10
What does this mean and is there any way to fix it. I'm on an Intel Mac Mini running 10.4 and iChat 3.1.5

Hi Deashute,
If the Mac sleeps it will disconnect for the Network, be that LAN and/or Internet.
The way it wakes up does not always find all the networks straight away. In fact ichat can say it can not Video chat at this time as it can restart faster than the computer re-establishes network connections.
I have not seen this particular error but this seems the most likely.

10.5.6 Login Items Error with Network Home Directories
I'm splitting this post off from a previous discussion which can be found here:

With 10.5.6 our Login Items are not working on client machines that use Network Home Directories. Everything works fine under 10.5.5.
When the 10.5.6 client logs in, login items with a path directed to the Home/Documents folder cannot be found, and the following error appears in Console:
"Unable to resolve startup item: status = -35, theURL == NULL = 1"
I have no problem manually navigating to the Home/Documents folder and opening the login items. Removing and re-adding the login items does not fix the problem. Revert to 10.5.5 and the login items are fine.
Below is a suspicious error that I see repeated multiple times in Console (viewing "All Messages") on the 10.5.6 clients but not on the 10.5.5 clients:

I'm sure I could find a work-around by moving the location of my login items or maybe even changing to launchd. However, this error seems to indicate something going on with the 10.5.6 install that might be more serious. I've done some typical troubleshooting: DFA, Repairing Permissions, Clearing Caches, trashing loginwindow and MCX preferences, deleting the /Library/Managed Preferences folder, rechecking DNS on the server (forward and reverse lookup OK).

Thanks!just to tell you, same thing here - it's nothing special about your setup. it's not a big issue for us as the kernel panic at logout on 10.5.6 is the real killer (no it's NOT JUST FONTS) so our workround is that we're not rolling it out! (staying 10.5.5).
but on my own test 10.5.6 mac i get exactly the same issue with login items that are in the network home. local apps (font management app, ichat etc in /Applications) OK, but stuff on the mounted home server - nope and a line in the syslog for each item:

Multiple Application Domain Error with Preloader
Hi all,
I'm attempting to upgrade to Air 3.6. My app runs as a swf on the web and also meant to be packaged as a "slow" build (not interpreter) for iOS since I need the performance of Starling. Since it's a fat app, so thus it has a preloader for the web, which works perfectly. However when I try to start the app in ios-debug on my iPad, I get:

ZSOk so I got the swf to load by changing the code above to the following:

But now when I run the app I get a message dialog on the iPad saying:
Uncompiled ActionScript
Your application is attempting to run uncompiled ActionScript, probably due to the use of an embedded SWF. This is unsupposed on iOS. See the Adobe Developer Connection website for more info.
And yes I am using Adobe Air SDK 3.6, and building with -swf-version=19, at least on the main swf. The other swf was made with an fla with Flash Pro.
Any help people? Why is this still not working? I thought it was fixed in 3.6. I must be missing something.

Multiple application domain error with ANEs
I'm building a mobile app that loads external SWFs, and it works fine when I include the current application domain in the loader context for the Loaders.
However, as soon as I include some native extensions I need to use for the app, I start getting this familiar error:
Error #3747: Multiple application domains are not supported on this operating system.
I've tried switching to the parentDomain, grabbing the application domain from the parent's loaderInfo... no dice.
Anybody know a workaround for this?
I really need to load the SWFs and I really need the ANEs...Well, in case anyone else runs into this issue, here's what I did that fixed it...
I just deleted the <extensions> node from the application descriptor XML and re-published. I have no idea why that fixed it (since Flash Builder repopulates that node when you include ANEs in your build packaging). But it did. -

My 2 kids and I were very upset that we couldn't get on. I was only able to use this service once and than it didn't allw me to do it again.
I went to the apple store and epxlained the problem....he said I need to bring in my computer. Seems like there is a bug in the ichat program.

If Defcom's suggestion did not fix it try altering the Quicktime Streaming speeds setting to match your download.
(System preferences > Quicktime > Streaming tab)
If you try iChat during the first seeion you use your Mac the Quicktime setting seems to ignored. On later uses iChat reads the Connection speed set in Quicktime. (the Automatic setting returns a zero).

New to Macs and need help with communication error in video chat
Hello! I have the same problem with video chatting that many others are having with errors -7 and -8. I am brand new to macs, and while I understand what the other threads are talking about about changing ports and settings, I don't exactly know how to do those things on my new system (iMac with OS X tiger 10.4.8). My quicktime settings are set to 1.5 and my iChat port is changed to 443. I have been able to connect with one person via iChat video on a different network, but I was given the above errors when I tried to connect with someone else tonight. I am using my built in airport with a Lynksys WRT54G broadband router. Please let me know how I can go about fixing this problem. Thank you!

Error while creating sales order with network/project

The standard Network used as a reference contains assignments to a standard WBS. However you have maintained WBS assignments manually.which assignment should be used?

Cross Domain error for Silverlight + MVC application with self hosted WCF service on azure

We are migrating existing Silverlight application to MVC; existing Silverlight application is hosted on
Azure which is consuming self-hosted WCF service. For authentication we have implemented
ADFS with WIF (passive). The cloud service (<myWebSite>.cloudapp.net) is C Name to (<myWebSite>.<myDomain>.com) and we
are consuming WCF service at <myWebSite>.cloudapp.net/<myService>.svc, as we were getting “Cross Domain” error so we have added “clientaccesspolicy.xml” at the root of “WEB ROLE”.
Existing Silverlight application works fine but the problem occurred when we deploy our migrated application to the same cloud service. We are getting a “Cross Domain” error.
The same migrated application works fine on UAT environment, the only difference is UAT environment is
without ADFS WIF implementation.
Migrated application is half Silverlight and half MVC with initial landing page is Silverlight. MVC web role is used to host the service i.e. .SVC . To go to SL landing page , redirected from home controller. Following is being observed in fiddler for this
application
Existing Silverlight application -
After authentication with ADFS it redirect to Silverlight landing page.
Before calling service method it looks for “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
In response header we are getting the content of “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
And after this everything works fine
Migrated Silverlight-MVC application –
After authentication with ADFS it redirects to “HomeController” and from there we are redirecting to Silverlight landing page.
Before calling service method it looks for “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
In response header we are getting following content - “https://federation-sts.<myDomain>.com/adfs/ls/?wa=wsignin1.0&

We have done RDP to web role and found that “clientaccesspiolicy.xml” is present at “E:\approot” location and it is also accessible at “https://<myWebSite>.<myDomain>.com/clientaccesspolicy.xml”.

Please try to configure the cross domain policy file to allow public read access (that is, access it without federation requirement), make sure you can access the address
http://something/clientaccesspiolicy.xml directly in a browser
without redirecting to check whether the cross domain policy file could be anonymous accessed (Please start a new browser session and make sure you're
not logged in. Then test the cross domain policy file.).

my macbook pro is connected to internet via my time capsule but my iPad and iPhone won't. it shows wifi connection to the time capsule but when i go on to the internet on the iPad or iPhone, it comes up with network error. can anyone help?
This can be caused by a number of issues.
Was everything working and then suddenly stopped??
Or is this a new clean setup and has never worked.
Do you have a cable modem which is not a router and the TC setup in bridge? That will cause it. The TC must be in router mode, ie dhcp and nat.
Check the IP the MBP gets including dns and gateway..
Then check the ipad/iphone.. post what IP dns and gateway (router in applespeak) they get. -
When trying to update getting (error surle error domain error-1100). It started yesterday, any help would be great. I have Mountain Lion 10.8.1 on a new macbook pro with retina display.
There are many people suffering from this problem right now (including me). It appears to be a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.
Some things I have heard indicate that this may be a regional problem, though what parts of the world are affected I don't know yet. A few people have been helped by deleting the following preference file (paste the path into the Go -> Go to Folder window in the Finder to locate it), though most have not:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist

Also, note that there is no reason to be anxious to get it, as the only thing added in iTunes 10.7 is compatibility with iOS 6, which will not be available until the 19th, and the new iPhone, which will not be available until later as well. Error 0x00000709 Networked printer not working in a home network with HomeGroup enabled.
I should start by describing my network by device.
Gateway device - Motorola SB5120 SURFboard cable modem
Router/WAP device - Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router with 4 port Switch Model: WRT54G v4 Security: WPA2 with firewall.
Windows 7 Ultimate Desktop with Homegroup enabled (Printer driver installed & ethernet wired)
Windows 7 Pro Laptop set to homegroup for the Desktop (Ethernet wired and Wireless depending on the situation)
Windows 7 Home set to homegroup for the Desktop (Wireless)
Brother Printer Model: HL-2170W (Wireless)
HP Printer Model: HP Officejet 6500A Plus (Wireless)
What have I done?
Installed drivers on 2 of the 3 computers. The final computer (Win7 Home) was added in later and works fine when connecting to the internet through the WAP. However it does not even find the printer when trying to install the driver which is a part of the
process for driver installation for the Brother Printer.
I had set up the printer for two of the three computers and had it working at one time however in trying to get the printer set up for the final computer I somehow have messed up those settings.
During that setup I tried to move the printer to a networked printer (It was shared before and installed on the network with both the Desktop and the Win7Pro lappy able to print but it would not print for the new arrival to the Homenetwork. This caused
me to seek a solution which involved installing the proper driver in the Win7Home and the discovery that the driver installer could not find the Brother printer at all which prompted the moving of the printer to a networked printer.) (The Win7Home computer does
not find the HP printer either but that is a can of worms yet unopened.)
I am sure there are a few things that I did not do correctly and I may have left out some additional information which you may require. If I can help clarify this question please feel free to query me. I thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

May I know that are these two network printer with network adapter? If they are installed on the network, you could add them and install the drivers for Windows 7.

Rhsnippet.apj Error with RoboHTML 11 Project on Network
I have an RH 11 project on a network drive. The project has 485 snippets. When adding or modifying snippets I get the following error:
An error occurred while trying to read data from <n:\roboHelp Projects\\rhsnippet.apj <1>.
When I open the rhsnippet.apj file, the file is truncated like this:

It seems that RoboHelp cannot complete writing to the APJ file.
After closing and reopening the project, I then get a message saying the cpd is corrupt. After deleting the cpd and reopening the project, I still get a message saying the project is corrupt.
The only way I have found to fix the project is to move the project back to a local drive, delete the cpd, delete the rhsnippet.apj file and re-import all the snippets.
I have seen a similar issue which was resolved by moving to another network drive. I moved my project to another network drive but the issue still occurred.
rhsnippet.apj Error with RoboHTML 10 Project on Network
My experience with R10 R11 projects on a network drive has been problematic, despite Adobes assertion that R11 and R10 projects now work on network drives. For example, Adobe support confirmed that RoboHelp does not support projects on a network drive that uses DFS (Distributed File System). I have found that large projects seem to be problematic on network drives.
I suspect that part of this issue is the large amount of snippets I have, as other projects on the network drive don't appear to have this issue as they do not contain a large amount of snippets.
If anybody else has experienced a similar issue with projects on a network drive related to snippets I'd be grateful for some advice.Thanks for the advice Peter, but deleting the CPD does not fix the issue. I have 500 snippets because I have 500 fields (and growing all the time) to document that can appear in multiple reports and also require that each field is documented separately. So although I seem to be pushing the envelope with the amount of snippets, I am grateful for the existence of snippets because trying to document this without snippets would be a nightmare!
One thing that annoys me is that you cannot apply a style sheet to multiple snippets at the same time. At least I have not found a way. Is there a way of doing this – short of editing the HTML for each snippet individually? I will add this to a feature request for RoboHelp as well as log a bug report with Adobe. -
