Double click and single click Event

Hi
I want to add a Single Clcik event and Double click event both on the same movie clip in as3 , its working but call both the event same time so how to fix it , please help us if u have any solution ..(

did you double click enable your object AND add a doubleclick listener? if so, what's the problem?

Is there any way that i can change the property of double click to single click.
For eg: In a sales order -> header -> texts -> txt type ( Form Header, Header Note1.. etc). Here to see the text of Header Note1 from Form Header we have to double click on Header Note1, rather than double clicking can we change it to single click.

I think this is not possible.
Actually the function key for Double Click is F2 and the function code is PICK.
So, if you want to use any other function key instead of F2, we can assign the function code to that function key(say, for example F4, F5 etc), this possibility can be achieved.
But changing double click to single click is not possible.

It is required to change the functionality of the double click to single click only,while creating sales document types. Kindly help by providing path, TC, progrrame, userexit etc. to achieve the objective.

This is w.r.t. already configured document types. It is additional functionality the user is insisting for. This is required only to the sales orders. here the user wants to use the output header for typing the notes for their specific customer's order.while changing form header to header note 1 or vice versa they dont want to use double click while changing over the the above tabs for text typing.

In System Preferences > Trackpad > your preferences should look like this screenshot. If they don't then some 3rd party driver is conflicting. The most common conflict is USBoverdrive.

So for example if I imported a psd file into Muse with 5 layers, could i create 5 buttons which, when clicked, each individually took off and added 1 layer?

Middle click and right click won't work?

Previously i used nightly but i uninstalled it due to it's unstable. When installing firefox, everything is ok. But i realize my middle click and right click won't work. I have check the "About:config" page and the "browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick" is "true". I try to reinstall it but no effects.
Please help. i can't open new tab or downloading images with this issues.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

Tired of Clicking and Re-clicking links in Safari to get the page to load

I am so TIRED of having to click and re-click links in Safari to get pages to load. Sometimes the page will begin to load, but will "hang" and I'm forced to refresh (or hit return, or re-click the link, etc.) in order for the page to load properly.
Can anyone help?

I have been going through this as well - and the losing connection issue.
After uploading the new airport update, Apple help had me do some resets (the power manager and the PRam I believe) and it seems to be working well.
On the other hand, it has worked well at times before and then fell out of wellness... I hope this does the trick.
It is crazy to be dealing with these issues on a macbook.
I HOPE it's not that on the Core 2, the fact that the N is hacked off unless you pay 1.99 isn't making this buggy. That would be a very bad thing on Apple's part.
Just give us full use of the card on the machine from the get go. Not a partly working version. To me, that's suspect in this issue.

Mouse is very laggy while using trackpad, but click and right click are not

This problem started yesterday. While using the trackpad, the mouse became very laggy. I stopped to see if a few minutes would help fix the problem, but the mouse kept moving sporadically. I can click and right click fine and with no lag, but the mouse is either non responsive or extremely laggy. The problem was infrequent at first, but now it is almost constantly there. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX version 10.5.8.

Use the Toshiba application installer to reinstall the Touchpad driver.
To find it search your laptop for Toshiba application installer and run it is will download and install all your drivers.

How to separate double click action and single click action

in my mouse action listerner for JTable.
i do two actions, when user doule click column header, sort the column,
when single clicked, select all cells in this column.
but when user double clicked, the action attached with single click also triggered.(column sorted but also selected)
how to separate them.

Ok, so despite my earlier suggestion being basically the only solution offered anyway on the web it appears that Lokust is correct and that the single click operation would be performed as well as the double click one. to get round this u have to implement a Timer, i'm not going to post my whole code here because most of it is irrelevent, just add this code in the correct places and it should work fine. apologies to all format junkies for not using code tags!

This assumes that for it to be considered a double click user has to click twice within .5 seconds.
Let me know if that works or not, sorry its a bit messy!

[Solved] Gwenview 5 lost icons and single click

Hi,
I don't use KDE but I do use Gwenview. Since upgrading to 5 Gwenview has lost some icons (outlined in red below), and I now have to double click on directories and images to open them instead of single click. Is it possible to fix these issues without installing a full KDE desktop?

Since you still probably have kdebase-workspace, maybe you can fix it with "kcmshell4 icons" instead.

Mouse double click on single click

My mouse has been double clicking on a single click since changing to Mavericks 10.9. I have tried different mouse brands from Apple to Rapoo and everything inbetween. I have played with the mouse settings and rebooted, reset the pram and nothing works. It's very frustrating as a graphic designer to be slowed down because of a mouse.
Has anyone ad this problem and has the solution to it?

From the menu bar click on Go > (Hold option down) Library will appear, click it.
In the Library goto Preferences
Locate the following files and delete them.
-com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist
Restart the computer and test.

Is there a way to change double-click to single-click?

My dad has trouble double-clicking on folders. He recently got an iMac, and he's used to the single-click option on Windows. Is there a way to set up single-click on Mac OS X?

The lack of single click mode this is the most glaring, problem that the mac has, it globally affects everything you do. Macs are great mostly because they are "dumbed down" but lets face it there are some qualities that are missing because the OS development has not been any comparison to windows. Macs have only had a two button mouse for a couple of years! If you are a light user of email, photos, etc (most of us) you will say whats all the complaining about? ..but if you use your mac for real work & know the advantages of single click mode, it is a nightmare. A person has to know ALL the adavantages to single click mode to appreciate what I am saying.

Mouse on imac double clicking on single click, not grabbing windows, etc...

My older iMac (with failing video card, etc) exhibits this weird mouse behavior. I'm using a standard issue clear plastic single button "Pro Mouse" connected to the keyboard via usb. The Double Click speed is set all the way to very slow in Preferences, but still, a single click on something acts as a double click. The mouse will also give me a hard time about grabbing things to drag them around- Its super annoying. I can't click and hold and move something a lot of the time, and clicking and holding will also act as a double click and open what I am trying to move (say an application in the folder I want to pull to the dock, it will open the program rather than allow me to pull to dock.... etc.)
Any ideas?

Double click is pretty easy. Just check the number of clicks you recieved as a result of the mouseClicked event of a MouseListener. Like so:

PcmanFM and single-click delay

Howdy-ha, folks. Does anyone know of a way to change the delay of (or do away with) automatic item selection on mouse hover in PcmanFM while using single-click mode? I love this filemanager, and love using single-click, but it's irritating to have an entire selection range deselected because I can't hit a hotkey combo quickly enough. Judging by the config file in ~/.config/pcmanfm, I'd guess not? Or is there perhaps a third-party solution/work-around?

I suppose Thunar could be considered a work-around, although I prefer PcmanFm. Maybe I'll screw around with the source for it later today... I know about as much about C as I do about the history of 19th-Century Appalachian quilting (I just arbitrarily assume it's written in C, which tells you what my qualifications for coding are), but I have an idea of where to start looking anyway.
