Doubts in entering Challan details thorough text file....

Hi Experts...
When im trying to put the data in excel sheet which it has to be imported in f16 ,here im confused with the payroll period.
The paydate and the date of deduction are showing as 20070526.For this period what is the payroll period.
Which months cheque number,challan date s should be taken!
Please advice.

To get the challan details in FORM16, do the following steps
1) Go to Tcode PC00_M40_F24. In this enter the required information and make sure that Quarter should be selected and the Tick mark for Temse file should be removed.
2) Select the record and click on Challan Details and enter the required challan details and Save
3) Now click on Download e-file save the file.
4) Now execute the tcode PC00_M40_F16. In this enter the required information. Select the file, which was downloaded from Form24 and execute.
5) The challan details will now appear in Page 3 of Form16.

    It is working fine for those employees whose record is only one.If there are more than 1 months details for the employee it is not taking up the values.It is showing up previous values in challan details which were generated by system.The entries which i have put in the text file are not showing up.

    i am uploading a tab delimited text file to a ztable.
    I moving the text file in to internal table
    data : begin of i_tab occurs 0,
           text(1024) type c,
           end of i_tab.
    then i have passed to FM GUI_UPLOAD.
    and then splitting
    loop at i_tab.
    split i_tab at con_tab
                              into i_xyz-matnr
                                   i_xyz-werks.
        append i_xyz.
    endloop..
    is this the right approach . iam getting the results but iam just curious to know.
    Do i need to internal like the one i created

    or do i need to create one with field that i have in text file.

    The problem I have now is, in the text file I am going to
    have upto 120-130 of these records, now the maximum I can fit onto
    the screen is 20, is there a way I can split this text file up so I
    can show Page 1/7, 2/7, 3/7, 4/7, 5/7, 6/7 and 7/7, where it
    switches over automatically via a timer of some sort, say after 20
    seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    sure. there are many ways to do this.
    one would be to use one textfield and load all your text into
    it. use a timer like setInterval() to periodically increase the
    scroll property of your textfield by its bottomScroll property.
    you'll need to fill your last page with carriage returns or
    new lines so the last page can scroll to the top of your
    textfield.

    i had also a pblm ..that i had to read data from an excel sheet and write it to a File thru java code ....
    u can also use FileOutPutStream object....if u want...
    but there u can give newLine()..so all ur output will be in a single line to the file....

    bufferWriter.newLine();
    the stringToBeWritten can be a hardCoded string value..or any dynamic value like say fetching from database...

  • Scanner cant find the text file??

    Hello guys,
    I have a java program that is designed to generate maze out of text files. So basically it takes a text file and uses the info to set up a maze through GUI. The program was written by my professor and i cant get it to run the text files. When i run the program a gui pops up and assks me to enter one of eight text files.
    They are labeled maze1.txt to maze8.txt
    So once i enter the file, the programs tells me that the files can not be found. I have all eight maze files saved in the source folder. So i assume i dont have to import anything. If it helps any here is how the project set up looks like in eclipse? I have to assume that i have not set up something correctly as the program should work.

    Sorry i should have provided more information. Here is how his constructor for Maze class looks like:

    As you can see above the text file is just passed to constructor as a parameter, and i am thinking when i run the program and it asks me for the text file, i just give it the file name ex. "maze1.txt" and that would be the parameter to the Maze constructor. BUT then the constructor fails to find the file and from what i know that is due to files eather not being imported in the java class or because they are missing from the source folder?
    But clearly i have them in the source folder, so importing them in java class would be pointless. The compiler should be able to find them in the source folder.

    If you are using Cl_gui_alv_grid you can use method set_drop_down_table to set the list values in a cell in ALV like below.
    data: lt_dropdown type lvc_t_drop,
           l_dropdown type lvc_s_drop.
    l_dropdown-handle = '1'.
    Concatenate 'C001' 'Current Account' into l_dropdown-value .
    append l_dropdown to lt_dropdown.
    Similarly do it for C002
    Once you have filled up lt_dropdown you can pass the internal table to grids set_drop_down_table method
    call method l_grid->set_drop_down_table
        exporting
          it_drop_down = lt_dropdown.
    where l_grid is the reference object of your ALV Grid.

  • Read from Text File Detailed Help need Clean-up

    This is probably well known and nobody has bothered fixing it but the detailed Help of the "Read from Text File" function is sort of ambiguous:
    -  statement 1: refnum out is the refnum of the file that the function read. You can wire this output to another file function, depending on what you want to do with the file. The default is to close the file if it is referenced by a file path or selected from the file dialog box. If file is a refnum or if you wire refnum out to another function, LabVIEW assumes that the file is still in use until you close it.
    - statement 2: If you wire a path to file, the function opens the file before reading from it and closes it afterwards.
    I have found statement 1 to be correct, which makes statement 2 incomplete (and sort of tautological in the sense that 1) you expect LabVIEW to open the file before reading from it if you provide a path instead of a refnum... and 2) if you use a path input to file AND use the refnum out for some other function, the file is NOT closed, as correctly stated in statement 1).

    I have a little doubt on text file .Normally in .CSV we r separting the particulat field with boxes .wher is ascii how can we seperate values .i mean with commas or spaces or any other option.

    Hi,
    ASCII is normal tab separator, every field is like in separate columns, and for this you have to specify in datasource tab of transfer roules the exaxt number of digit ov every field, and is generally in .txt format.
    You obtain this format when you save an MS-Excel file in .prn format (one of the last possibilities).
    About Separator for thousand and Decimal Points you have to define it due to the values that you use in your file, for example you can use ',' fordecimal place, so you have to define this character for decimal place.
    About conversion routine you have to keep-off this flag if you not have particular conversion routine.

    It may have half installed the software so dose anyone know if i can reinstall or delete what it has installed?

    after using FCS remover run  disc repair:
    shut down the Mac
    Hold the Shift key on keyboard and start up the Mac
    The Mac will run the repair tasks it takes 10- 30 minutes, then it will boot up normally
    insert the FCS DVD in the drive and install FCS again.

    In the bin, where all the information is columned regarding (on the right hand side) regarding duration/in/out... and all the other information...
    Is there a way to export only that information as a text file of any sort? I have a feature film's length worth of footage, and I'm trying to create a list of all the available shots we have for the crew, what master tape they were captured from, their in and out points, and all that...
    (As opposed to print screening the whole thing...)

    Export "batch list" will give you a tab delimited text file that can be imported in to a spread sheet. Hide or add columns in the browser for further control.
