Doubts in tax master...
Dear All,
I have some doubts in Tax Master, When I want to view the one customer condition record number(KSCHL) it should display the Tax details,
I get the KSCHL from A504, based on the KSCHL I wan to get the tax details from KONP table and where I get the tax code condition(MWSK1) .Could u explain me in details,

Withholding tax master data report changes in SAP FI
Hi All,
In our client according to new audit requirements improvements have to be done for the withholding tax report. According to the the requirements changes only functionality has to be added to the main selection screen of the withholding tax master data report.
Changes only functionality has to be added to the selection screen of the report, the report has to display changes made to the tax master data with in a range of period, this was achieved easily by making program changes. Only issue now is when we do it in development client its showing us properly but when we do it in production it is not working because when ever we do any configuration changes we do it in the development client and transport it to production client so the changes done to any configuration with respect to WHT are not recorded in the production environment as they are transported from development client.
So, we are unable to achieve this in production client, please help me out with this issue.

What is meant by company code withholding tax master record information. Can we assign an WHT exemption code here ?? If so, what is the purpose for creating that code for our company code and exempting here ?? please make this clear.

WHT codes are defined at country level. For country u can define codes which u have to assign to company code.
Exemption notification As per Indian IT Act means special grant by notification to assesee for deducting TDS at lower or nil rate for period specified in that notification. Exemption code is defined to reflect the same.
U cannot assign exemption code to WHT Code as it is defined at client level and as per above paragraph exemption notification is party specific. -

Vendor withholding tax master data in Transactional data

In which sap transactional table vendor witholding master data ( fk01- withholding tax data). while recording outgoing payment transaction FK53 or vendor invoice FB60.
Vendor master > withholding tax accounting table is LFBW.
i need where it is saved while posting Outgoing payment trasanction in transactionl data.

Doubt in vendor master creation

i m new to workflow . i hv assigned with one scenario plz help me with some points to how i can create it
first vendor master data by end user
second sending for approval
third approval decision - if yes then only the entry given by end user want to save in master data
my doubt is : when end user make entry and save .it ll save at that time itself but that should not happen. it want to wait for approver decision .if yes then the entry by user want to save in master data

Have done this before but you may think it is too much effort.
1) I built a module pool to facilitate the entry of prospective master data by the user. On save this triggers my workflow and adds entered data to the workflow container - not to the vendor master at this stage.
2) The workflow template first searches the vendor master for duplicates based on name, address etc and then sends to an approver with a list of possible duplicates.
3) If not a duplicate, the approver Approves the workitem, and then the vendor master is created in the database via BAPI.

Hi,
we are using TAXINN Procedure in MM.
Do the tax conditions meant for SD like CST, VAT , etc are to be put in TAXIINN procedure for price determination in SD?
I am MM consultant, if I see the TAXINN procedure in SAP, it doesnot have any condition for SD.

For purchase tax/excise calculations are calc by using tax condition types(i.e, taxinn condtypes)
For sales tax/excise calc are calculated by using the pricing condition types.(JINFACT,JINSTO,JINDEPO)

Material Master tax Category Issue
Hi all,
I have some doubt in Material Master sales view.
I want to know the Database Table name in which the field Tax Category (TATYP) and tax classification(TAXKN) stored.
I know that these tables are stored in the stucture during creation of material master.
Its urgent please help if anybody knows

The filed TATYP ( TAX category) is in TSKM,
and i could not found TAXKN in data dictionary, i found TAXKM in TSKM table,
the description for TAXKM is Tax classification.

Tax Conditions for Sales and Distribution using Jurisdiction Code in Canada
Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you a doubt relating taxes for Sales and Distribution in Canada.
The Tax conditions for Sales and Distribution in Canada are the CTX1 (GST - Canada), CTX2 (PST - Canada) and CTX3 (Base + GST). These are the Tax Conditions which appear when creating a Material or a Client for the Canada Region, and are also the ones included in the Canada Standandard Pricing Procedure.
I tried to apply the standard method of creating a Master Record for these conditions, but an error relating the Jurisdiction Code came out while releasing to accounting.
Does anyone one how to procceed? Which are the important issues with Finance Accounting to take in to account?
I would really appreciate any comment relating this issue.

In first place, thank you very much for your quick response.
I have tried many different procedures to get the aim, and among others, a new access sequence was created to allow the introduction of the Jurisdiction Code (UTXJ is not available for Sales Conditions) but once the Condition is created, it is not recognized when creating the Order ("pricing error: Mandatory condition CTX is missing"). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that these conditions are not included in the Finance Accounting Tax Procedure, where the conditions, which represent the same taxes but with different condition names, are defined for a certain Tax Code and Jurisdiction code.
Among the different SAP notes for the error relating the Jurisdiction code, there was one proposing to change the Condition Category from "D" (Taxes) to a value between "1 and 4". By doing this a new error appears while creating the order, saying that there are conditions in the Tax procedure (JRC1, JRC2)which are not included in the Sales Pricing procedure. By including this conditions in the Pricing procedure, the Tax Conditions existing in the Finance Accounting Tax Procedure are brought to the Order Conditions, in addition to the Sales Tax Conditions. And there is something more, each Tax Condition from the Finance Accounting Procedure appears twice, one with the application V (Sales) with value zero, and one with application TX (Taxes) with the value existing in the Finance Accounting Taxes Procedure. This is how at the end, the corresponding %value of the taxes is brought to the Invoice with the correct Tax Code, and the proper Jurisdiction Code, which is different for each condition.

Hello,
I have a doubt regarding tax posting in credit memo.
When we create an invoice , let us say we charged 12% of tax of final price $1000, means $120/-, which will post to a seperate account.
when we create a credit memo with reference to the invoice I don't find a tax condition in that. While posting the credit memo the accounting entires from the invoice will be nullified by the credit posting, but what about tax?

Need Business case Explaination about the Field in Customer Master

What I mentioned above fields i need business case explination, but all the above fileds are explaining about the Price and Statistics about the report. By using F1 Help i can understand but i need business case
Is there any link between those fields ?

you will one test case in customer pricing group in customer u can not fill it, the same customer u can rise the sale order , system sows earorr message, no customer master records maintain, it means when u create the sale order system take pricing procedure , pricing procedure determination ; sales area+customer pricing procedure +document pricing procedure assign to pricing procedure,(ovkk) ,

Tax conditions in purchase register report
Hi all,
I am developing a Purchase Register Report, I have a small doubt regarding Tax conditions.
From which tables we will get the Tax Conditions like CST, SERVICE TAX, VAT etc.
Previously I have developed Purchase Requisition Report,in that I have used the FM 'CALCULATE_TAX_ITEM' to get the Tax Condition Values. But in this purchase register report I am getting wrong values for the same FM.
Please suggest me.

First of all let me clarify that you are generating report for Purchase orders generated or for MIRO posted documents
If you are generating for purchase orders
First use FM 'REFRESH_TAX_TABLES' for updating tax tables with latest changes
Next use FM 'FIND_TAX_SPREADSHEET' to find out tax procedure or schema
Then use FM 'CALCULATE_TAX_ITEM' to get taxes
If you are generating report for MIRO documents
Use BSET table for accounting document generated against MIRO

Hi,
As of now, MIRO is picking up tax from PO line item.
Now I want to add another tax to that line ...so would like to assign one more tax code to that line through taxes tab in MIRO screen - but I am not able to add it...taxes tab is greyed out (only the tax code from Po appears and calculate tax box ix checked)......so is it that can't I post with 2 taxes for a line?
What should I do in such case?
In short, how to enter the second tax code?

I think you don't need add second line item to MIRO PO side. You can split tax line item with your tax code customizing on FTXP.
You must make some customizing.
Define an internal processing key,
Financial Accounting (New) -> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
You should copy MWS to ZWS
Then assign this key to your tax procedure.
Financial Accounting (New) -> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
Then you can see it on FTXP for your tax code. For example, you can enter %5 to MWS and %10 to ZMW line on tax master data. When you post an invoice with this tax code and if your amount base is 100,00 for ex. system calculate two line item, first is 5,00 and second is 10,00.

I am a SD/MM consultant, but have a doubt in Asset master. Once after raising a PO having an ASSET value, after doing MIGO and MIRO.When i go back to see the AS03 tcode its showing the exact values as of in PO is there any chance to view how much quantity the asset was updated on that day or else is their any other way to see also please let me know.
