Dowload of Acrobat Trial - RoboHelp Trial Conflict

I downloaded a trial of RoboHelp, then tried to download a trial of Acrobat Pro.  I received an error message from the installer that there was a higher version of product installed, Adobe PDF Creation Add On.   This is from Robohelp I believe.  Is there any way I can have a trial of RoboHelp and Acrobat at the same time? I'm considering a subscription to the Technical Communications suite, wanted to try out these two first.  Thanks

  • Adobe Acrobat trial version installation suggeded somehow, but I cannot save a file I have changed from Word to PDF.

The installation of Acrobat trial version for 30 days seemed to succeed but after making a pdf file I could not save it into my own libraries on my computer. In the first case the system told that the trial time is over! How come? I had just installed it. Then I tried again, but now the system is requiring a "serial number". Then it said that I can find it there and there. I tried to log in there but it did not accept my password which I had just used. Ok. I changed the password and it was accepted by Adobe. But I never got any serial number anywhere. Then I tried to install Acrobat through another way. I have had Adobe Cloud and Premiere already for years. I tried to load Acrobat through there. I succeeded, but same problem again: "The trial time is 00 days". Then I also noticed that my old Adobe Reader has vanished somewhere. I could not open any pdf files I have received and opened before. I tried to re-install the Reader. No success because "the trial time is over" !!! What should I do? Maybe I can try to ask my friends to change the Word files into the pdf-versions but I need my Adobe Reader!

    Hi, Ashish,
I do not understnd what means “through CC package under exception folder”. I
think I went to Google and found this page:
    https://www.acrobat.com/en_us/free-trial-download.html . After the
installing, which seemed to be successful, I brought in a Word file and made
the exchange into pdf. It seemed to be ok, but I could not save it anywhere
into my own libraries or maps. The system told me that the trial time is
over (!). Then I went into my Abobe Creative Cloud because I have already
Premier Pro and Premeir Pro CC. Through the list overt there I tried to do
the installation again. I do not remember anymore what I got in the first
place, maybe it was the same “Your trial time has 00 days” or something like
that. Then I was asked to get the “serial number” I clicked the “button” but
the reply was the same “Your trial time has 00 days”, or maybe there was
some other demands before that. Impossible to remember anymore.
Then I also noticed that I don’t have Adobe Reader anymore; I could not read
any pdf files I had before. Everytime jumps up the message “Your trial time
    has 00 days”.
    regards

  • Hello, I have installed Reader, Adobe Acrobat, trial versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Some more than once. They work for a few days at most then I am told to re-install. I cant look at any pdf file even though I can still see reader in my programs.

Hello, I have installed Reader, Adobe Acrobat, trial versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Some more than once. They work for a few days at most then I am told to re-install. I cant look at any pdf file even though I can still see reader in my programs. What is going on and what can I do to fix this?

Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

  • Acrobat trial download seems to have stalled.

I am attempting to download Acrobat trial software. It is a major download and seems to be stalled with only 9 minutes to go. There doesn't appear to be a way to get it started again. My task manager says it is working What can I do?

    Hi Dee_Canuck,
If you are stuck at the same point for quite sometime then please cancel and retry. You can end the task from task manager too.
If you face intermittent internet connectivity issues then it's better to use Adobe download Manager to download the software.
Alternatively you can try downloading from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-xi-pro-standard-reader-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

  • Dowloading acrobat trial

I've tried to download the trial version for acrobat x pro. But the 'download now' button doesn't work. I have tried deleting my history and opening and closing browsers, and allowing pop-ups. If I try to download something else, then the download now button does work and the installer aid thingy opens. But it just doesn't work for Acrobat. Any advice? I am using explorer9

Have you tried the steps provided here: Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant ? Waht system are you on? Which browser are you using?

  • My free Acrobat trial expired and now I can't open PDFs with Adobe Reader

I recently downloaded a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro before purchasing the software.  I already have Adobe reader installed on my computer (Dell PC -- Windows 7).  I attempted to purchase Adobe Acrobat as the parent of a student and I was told I had to wait for verification, which could take 1-2 days.  In the mean time, EVERY time I try to open a PDF, it asks me to buy the software and reminds me my trial has expired.  How can I revert back to using the free Adobe Reader I have always used?  If I had known it would be this much trouble, I never would have tried the free trial!  Can anyone help me out?
    Thank you!!

Open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences | General: use the Select Default PDF Handler to specify Adobe Reader instead of Acrobat.

  • Acrobat trial over and I can't seem to view PDF's without purchasing acrobat

I don't know how to get rid of the prompt to purchase Acrobat now that my trial is over.  Whenever I try to view a PDF I get a window asking me to purchase Acrobat..can't seem to use the regular version of Adobe like I once could.  Help, please!

    Hi doveag,
Before you downloaded the trial, were you using Adobe Reader to view the PDF files? If so, you should still have Reader on your computer. You just need to make sure that you're opening that, and not Acrobat, when you want to view your PDF files.

  • Help with acrobat trial

I've been trying for the last few hours to download a trial of acrobat.  All goes well wuntil the extraction part of the install.  Its been 3 hrs and when I start over I'm getting a installer mis-configured error.  Can anyone assist?

if you follow all 7 steps, you can dl a trial via one of the links on this page:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-xi-pro-standard-reader-direct-download-links.html
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

  • Issues after purchasing CC Photographer, Adobe Acrobat Trial cannot uninstall

CC Photography version, downloaded CC Desktop to Windows 7 64Bit with Lightroom 4 already installed.  Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro Trial.  All programs worked in Trial version.  After i signed for membership the following isn't working: most critical - Acrobat is not compatible with Outlook 2003.  Cannot use Word or Excel, had to fix Chrome Shockwave problem in Chrome Admin Editor.  I CANNOT UNINSTALL ACROBAT however i have tried.  Secondarily, I PSCC opens, but I cannot open any menu items, same in Lightroom. I have 4MG Ram and external HD. Need to uninstall Acrobat immediately.  Thanks!

Thanks Jeff - Thought that is where i put it..  Getting further on my on.. at least i have PSCC working correctly now.
