    Hi Vijay,
    Please open Microsoft Excel from your system and then create some entries (ex. having 3 columns and 3 rows). Save this file to some location in your system. Later you will need to give the location path of this saved file when uploading it from your web dynpro application.
    Creating of an Excel file (i.e the 4th step) is no where related to Web Dynpro and NWDS.
    Hope this helps!

    If user click on the Save Button it should display a window which allows the user to select the directory and the data is stored in the Internet Explorer Format.hmmm..
    There is no html object type which supports directory selection for download. There is only an input type="file" which however is related to an upload scenario.
    By downloading the file using output stream u can achieve what you want.
    You simply need to do the following things ..
    a) Write to an output stream
    b) Set the content type to "text/html" for your response
    Example ....
    response.setContentType("text/html");
    response.setHeader("Content-disposition",
    "attachment; filename" +
    "Example.html" );
    javax.servlet.ServletOutputStream stream = res.getOutputStream();
    StringBuffer text = new StringBuffer(1024);
    text.append("some text . . . ");
    text.append("more text . . . ");
    stream.write(data);
    stream.close();

    Ana,
    We are doing the same thing--using one variable with the schema as the source of the .xsl and assigning the resulting html to another variable--the content body of the email, in our case. I just posted how we did it here: Re: Using XSLT to generate the email HTML body
    Let me know if this helps.

  • BCS Business Data List data HTML Formatting data

    I have a Business Data List webpart in Sharepoint Online (2013) which pulls data from a BCS List. This data contains HTML which is not rendering as HTML but the HTML text.
    I've modified the data to HTML format the data, no joy (example: &lt; img src="/)
    I've modified the data to spit out the native html, no joy (example: <img src="/)
    I've modified the XSLT of the webpart using the Data View Properties (when editing the webpart in Sharepoint) to output the text from the list as below, which didn't work:
    <xsl:value-of select="@ArticleBody" disable-output-escaping="yes" ddwrt:nbsp-preserve="yes"/>
    and also this hasn't worked:
    <xsl:value-of select="@ArticleBody" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
    I'm now at a loss as to how I can get the data to show with the html text being rendered as actual HTML on page

    found, the issue - there was a section further down the XSLT file that needed the disable-output-escaping adding to (below is the original section) - once updated it worked like a charm - thanks

    If you're already using OLE, you can fill in value for each cell separately instead of using a delimiter. Something like this fragment:

      CALL METHOD OF obj_excel 'CELLS' = obj_cell
