Download local images

Hi
I've some project on my head and I try to resolve problem, Is
this possible to do?
1. I've on local hd jpg (size ex. 6mb) and downloading to swf
(via FileReference?) BUT I would like to avoid uploading big (6mb)
file to server.
2. Transforming Bitmap (resample, filters)
3. encoding to jpg
4. Uploading to server this jpg with xml file (xml file
including param. for server) using HTTP/POST
pls help me, Follow me some instructions. Maybe i should use
AIR ?

cs4 will help but is not necessary, however flashplayer 10 is
a requirement. It's also possible to do this with a recent build of
the free flex sdk as well and using Flashdevelop for example.

Now for runtime selection and display is easy ,Just on click on check box internally we have to pass the id
(name of the image )through context like
    if(checkbox 1)
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setImage("abc.gif");
    if()...

  • Outlook 2010 cannot seem to download html images

    Hi all,
I have an outlook 2010 install where, up unto a few weeks ago everything worked fine (i.e. one could select to download html images from an unknown sender). Yet, now there is no option to download html images anymore. Tried the following so far :
    - Resetting IE settings
    - Checking Trust Center Settingsthe images also do not suggest to download them by right clicking. It is just a red X
I tried locating the SecureTemp folder (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook) but it does not exist !
    Any suggestions?Thank you in advance

    Hi,
This problem is usually a "full" temporary file folder. It can also be caused by other reasons.
    1. Image is not embedded in the message
You may see a red x if the image is not embedded in the message and the
Send Pictures With Document registry value is set:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
    DWORD: Send Pictures With Document
    Value: 0
To fix, you need to add Send Pictures With Document with a value of 1, or change the existing
Send Pictures With Document value to 1.
    2. Check your Secure temp folder
Because it's unvisible, go to Windows Explorer’s Organize, Folder and Search Options menu. On the View tab, enable the option to show Hidden Files and Folders.

  • I have an Air running Mountain Lion. I also have a digital point-and-shoot camera, but have never downloaded any images from the camera to this Air. If I connect the camera to the Air, what might I expect? Will connecting the camera to the Air by a cable

I have an 11" Air with lots of remaining capacity running Mountain Lion. I also have a digital point-and-shoot camera. I have never downloaded images from the camera to this Air. However, if I just connect the camera to the Air's USB port, with the camera's available cable, and the Air is open, will a program like ImageCapture or iPhoto, auomatically come up, and I can begin to download wanted images? Or, will this sort of connection delete or fry everything on the Air? Do I need any other software on board? Will current Apple onboard programs allow me to download images from my camera and not destroy everything else?

    Answered. Thanks.

  • Can I search email archive on iCloud server from iOS device, or can I only search what it has downloaded locally?

Can I search email archive on iCloud server from iOS device, or can I only search what it has downloaded locally?
I currently have an iPhone and iPad, and am soon changing over to a Mac. When that happen I'd like to try to see what I can migrate over from the Google ecosystem to the iCloud ecosystem.
    1) Currently I have the Gmail iOS app (a webapp container) that can search server-side of several years of email archive.  Can iCloud do this using the iOS native mail application?  Or is the search just limited to what the device has downloaded locally?
    2) Do I have to use a @me.com address for the full iCloud email sync to take place between server, Mac, and iOS devices?
Believe it or not I've read quite a bit about the iCloud services, but the answers to these questions were far from clear.  Many thanks for the help.

    2)  iCloud only syncs email between .me/.mac addresses.  For other accounts like google, you set up the account in the mail app and if they're IMAP accounts, you can sync between the google server and any devices you have defined that account on.
I'm not absolutely sure about 1) since I haven't had to search going back years - I use MailSteward for that on the mac.  On my iPhone/iPad, when I go into a mailbox and the emails are not immediately available, it downloads them.  I suspect for a search, you need the emails downloaded.

  • How can I allow a user (client) to choose a local image file (on his hard d

How can I allow a user (client) to choose a local image file (on his hard drive) and modify it using an applet from his browser ? I am trying to develop a web page that enables the user to choose an Image file, manipulate the image using a java applet, and display the results.
Using Javas JFileChooser does not work when called from a browser, probably due to security privileges issues. On the other hand, I can choose and upload any file using a JavaScript form:
    <FORM METHOD="POST" ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" ACTION="process.asp">
    <INPUT TYPE=FILE NAME="file1"><BR>

It seems that I can choose an image file with a Java script form and process an image with an applet. How can I choose a file AND process it locally ?
(I do not wish to upload the file to the server using JavaScript form and then back to the clients applet for processing since it will be a tremendous waste of resources).
    Will appreciate any solution.
    Thanks !
( my email is: [email protected] )

"Using Javas JFileChooser does not work when called from a browser, probably due to security privileges issues. "
You can do this if you sign the applet...

  • I use an iMac 10.6.8 with iPhoto '09 to download digital images from Canon DSLRs. Until the last two weeks there has been no trouble whatever importing images by  a USB connection from either camera to the Mac. Now the process will not kick in. Any ideas?

I use an Mac OSX 10.6.8 with iPhoto 09 to download digital images from two Canon DSLRs. Until the last week, there has been no problem whatever in launching the import procedure once the USB connection has been connected and the camera switched on. Now the process will not kick in at all for either camera.  I can't find a solution through iPhoto help or from other sources.
Any ideas to fix?  (I admit I have not tested the USB cable at this time).

    What does "kick in" mean?
    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
    Post back with the result.

  • I just upgraded to Lightroom CC5 from 4, and the card will only download 1 image from my recent shoot of 10 images. Why can't I see the other images?

Lightroom 5 will only download one image from my card, when I shot 10. Iphoto doesn't have a problem with it. I never had this problem with Lightroom 4.

Sort by capture time and the images won't be "scattered all over the place".
Just show "NEW" photos in the import.
As Jim said, reformat your card after all your backups are done and verified.

You do not need to do anything - iPhoto always keeps the original and you can revert to it at any time
If you want to be able to see the original and the cropped version in iPhoto at the same time duplicate the photo (this does not really duplicate but simply starts a new edit stream for the photo - command-d) and crop the duplicate

I am trying to upload my photos to iphoto. I keep receiving a error message that say "Iphoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image" What do i Do?!

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS.  So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
