Download Standard WD Contents from Portal

Hi
I am currently running of WAS 6.4 and EP 6.0 SP14. I want to have a look at the source code for the Standard WD Development. Under Employee Self Service > Personal Information > Addresses, I have a screen that is used to Display/Change the Address of the user presently logged on the portal. I need to have a look at the source code. How do i download it so that i am able to view it using my NWDS Editor.
Answers would be rewarded.

I am able to find the Iview under :Portal Content > Content provided by SAP > End user content > com.sap.pct.ess.iviews > Personal Information. When i preview it , i am able to see Address/Bank Information/Personal Data Links. But in the iView i am not able to see the name of the Application.
One more question, why are there two Iviews with the same name under this folder ?

If it is a restricted shipment you will have problems downloading this business package.
Instead you can download this from the Marketplace.
You can give
Business Package for mySAP CRM - Business Productivity Pack 60.1
in the search option of Service Market Place

How to read a file content from portal

Hi experts,
I have a file (xml or xlsx), which i have kept in D drive.
then using GUI_UPLOAD, i have read file content into internal table. then i am proceeding furthur.
but in real, my file will be in portal (means https:\\in.xyz.com\........\TEST.XML
in this case i can not use GUI_UPLOAD.
can any one suggest how can i achieve above. Thanks.

Like anything else Content Tracker functionality is provided in a form of services, but it might require a bit search to find which services are to be called and how.
However, Content Tracker stores data in the database tables - (also to be available for External Report Generator), so why not to take data directly from the database? Alternatively, you could configure the system to send reports for you and take it from there.
What exactly is your use case?

Broadcasting to Email as PDF missing Content from Portal

Hi all
I am new to WAD , i have developed a report and published in portal , my client want to pass some comments about the report and Broadcast to email and send it as PDF through portal to the user by email .
I have used a INPUT_FIELD_ITEM webitem to write comments but it not getting exported to PDF, as of my knowledge all the web items get into PDF, please guide me on this issue.

From here you can check you cacn't able to export the INPUT_FIELD_ITEM to PDF or any other print version. it is a restriction defined by SAP

Not able to download all Audio Contents from Logic Pro 9

Hi!
I want to download the sound libraries that come with Logic Pro 9 (I know I am a little bit late). The most Jam Packs are already downloaded and installed but I have problems with downloading of one of the packages, the additional Sounds for Logic and Mainstage. The download interrupts when it has already loaded 1,7GB (see pictures below).
How can I download the package? The most Instruments are not working without it...

Error=-50 message when downloading iTunes TV content from store

Having problems downloading a TV program purchased through iTunes store. Other programs have downloaded fine, but this gives me the following error message, "stopped (err= -50)".
Any ideas how to resolve this?

When downloading iTunes U content from MIT OCW, the courses are not listed in proper order.

The only sort/play orders are "Oldest" and "Newest," neither of which are the correct order for the lectures.

I still have this problem also. Someone at Apple suggested I create a playlist and sort it manually. I did this but then couldn't pull up the playlist in iTunes U or music. For my courses it makes the app impractal. There are usually about 120 sections in each class to sort throughto find the next section.

Downloading BW report from Portal into Excel

When a user is trying to download a BW report from Portal into Excel, it is prompting for User id and password of backend.
But since portal has SSO this should not happen??
Once the Uid and Pwd has been entered the report works fine.
Why is this happening ??

in the server it will be present in the following location
EAR files not deployed in Portal. So we can't download from the Portal. We can download from Portal Server Path only
\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<instance no>\SDM\root\origin\<abc.com>\appl\global\<wd component name>\LOCAL\

To download Par's from Portal

Lately I have been trying to download deployed par's from portal. But the problem is I am not able to download the exact par file, but the whole project file structure using browse deplyoment under sys administration. From which again, if I create a par and try deploying it, it is not happening.

Hi,
Basiclly the following should be done:
1. Go to the Browser Deployment.
2. Navigate to ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd or to ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp
3. Find the file you want to download, and click on Download.
for example com.sap.portal.navigation.service.par.bak
4. Save the file as is in the file system - it will be with name "com.sap.portal.support.browse.default"
5. Rename the file name to something with .bak suffix, lets say :"com.sap.portal.support.browse.default.bak"
6. Open the bak file with a winzip or winrar, you will find inside another file, now named "com.sap.portal.support.browse.default".
7. Next change the file extracted in step 6 to .zip (just add a .zip suffix at the end).
8. open the file from step 7 with winzip or winrar, and inside you will find the actuall par file you are looking for. (com.sap.portal.navigation.service.par.bak).
9. If you intend to deploy it sometime on the portal , delete the .bak suffix.

And here I get a ZIP file. in this zip file there are more zip files for
1) 55610_AETICLE.zip
2) 55610_BUSINESS_PARTNER.zip
3) 55610_CUSTOMER.zip
4) 55610_EMPLOYEE.zip
5) 55610_MATERIAL.zip
6) 55610_PRODUCT.zip
7) 55610_VENDOR.zip
how can I load this into the system? I just want to load MATERIAL and PRODUCT
