Downloadable video link

Question

I am using Dreamweaver cs5. I am adding video to a page and would like a link to download only, not play, not stream, just download. Any suggestions?

Include a small php file in the same folder as the video files:

$file = $_GET['file'];
header ("Content-type: octet/stream");
header ("Content-disposition: attachment; filename=".$file.";");
header("Content-Length: ".filesize($file));
readfile($file);
exit;
?>
name it process.php
Create links on your Web page:
<a href="downloads/process.php?file=judy.MPG">Download judy.MPG</a><br /><br />
of course path as you need from Web page to the process.php file.
