Dreamweaver shuts down when opening a file

I was using a template to update and now when I try to open
the files individually it just shuts down Dreamweaver.
I am using XP pro, Dreamweaver MX.
I want to detwach the files from the template but I can't
open the files to do so, and theres like 19 files.

There have been a few reports of folks with iPhoto 09 being unable to export on 10.9. No solution apart from upgrading to iPhoto 11 (which requires a purchase) as this time.

Keynote shuts down when opening document

I have created a Keynote document on my MacBook pro (09 version of KN), I transfer the document to my iPad through iTunes. When I try to view the document Keynote shuts down when I try to open it. I have restored and have latest Mac and iPad OS. iPad KN happily runs the 'Get Sterted with KN' doc supplied with the iPad app.

I agree with you. I try to import ppt file to keynote in my iPad via iTunes. The file size from 2Mb to 24Mb. It failed on every try. Someone in this forum told me to turn iPad off and on before I try to import those files. I did and got same trouble. I even delete keynote and re download keynote. After all those try, I still can not import my file to keynote in my iPad.
I think Apple need to give my money back. I am so disappointment on this application.

Email shuts down when open address book

Was unable to find if this was already covered but my email shuts down when I try to open the address book on the mail page (haven't ever used it, so don't have addresses there yet. When I open the address book icon in the dock, it tries to open, but then closes

N900 shuts down when opening slider

Does anyone else have this problem? I believe I've figured out that it happens when I put a certain battery in it. I have three, total, because my previous phone was a 5800, so I had ordered an extra one. So, now I have three that I can use in my N900.
I think it is an official Nokia battery because it looks exactly like the others...
Anyway, my phone shuts down when I open the slider, using a fully-charged battery. The lights dim as if it is a power failure and it does not reboot like the others having the reboot problem...

I have a very similar problem and have been unable to enjoy my phone!
I got a new N900 yesterday, for the 2nd time, but the device is still manifesting the same symptoms:
- shuts itself down regularly, whether in use or not;
- sliding the keyboard back in causes it to shut down;
- it shut down when it was taken off the charger;
- I left it on the charger overnight and it stayed up all night (>10hrs);
- even when it is on (for a short while) the screen stays inactive and blank permanently, and the device shuts down when I attempt to slide it open to check that it is indeed on
- attempt to start it up again are not always responded to, and when it does it starts to boot up and then dies again
- it barely stays up long enough to use it for any purpose
- sometimes the charger responds to the power supply and sometimes it doesn't
This was exactly what was happening with the new one I recieved from and sent back to Nokia within days. They asked me to return it without the battery and charger and claimed to have tested the new one before sending it back to me. I have put in the battery and used the charger from the previous new device.
I have tried to analyse the problem and I am beginning to think that the issue might be related to either a dodgy battery or charger. What do you think?
I have asked Nokia to send me a replacement charger and batter. In the meantime, have you any suggestions I could try?

Photoshop shuts down when opening an image (PS CS Mac OSX 10.4.11) I'm using Photoshop CS for my Mac

I'm using Photoshop CS for my Mac (OSX 10.4.11) and photoshop suddenly stopped working.
Initially install went real well and it worked for long time great. Suddenly photoshop stopped working and refused to start. When trying to start the photoshop, it loads application first and as it used to open the file I had requested, now it shuts down with error message.
I have tried to reinstall the photoshop with no luck. Always same problem.
Can you help me with this annoying issue?
I purchased this software from Apple store in Century City Loas Angeles, so it should be real deal and no blackmarket stuff.

Programs keep shutting down when opening - please help

Hi,
My imac keeps shutting down my programs when I'm using them. For example I can change my screensaver image to images from a chosen, when I try the program shuts down, same as safari and mac the ripper. Some of my other programs do not even open for me, like pages and keynote, they just do nothing. Pleas help its getting really annoying and I've tried to find out whats the problem but nothing I do is helping.

Have you tried creating a new user account and launching the apps there? If they work under the new account, then it is possible that you have a corrupted pref file.
I had this happen on my eMac, but it was when I was a newer Mac user and didn't know much. I ended up reinstalling to OS - which corrected it - but that is a bit drastic.
Let's not do that, but try some other troubleshooting first.

Audition shuts down when dragging in files from different folders.

Whenever I try to drag in music files (in WAV format) from two separate files, Audition shuts down. It stops responding. How do I fix this?

I suspect changing the audio driver won't make a difference, though it's certainly worth a shot. Generally, when something like this occurs in certain editing modes, but not others, it's related to the Workspaces documents. It's pretty simple to verify: Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\3.0\ and move or rename the two Workspaces folders. (Note: AppData may not be visible by default depending on your configuration, but you can manually append it to the location bar and it should become visible.) After moving these folders, launch Audition. Audition will rebuild them to the defaults. Let us know if the problem still occurs. Thanks, Durin

AI shutting down when I save files...

Not sure if anyone here may be able to help with this problem, but I'll try..
I recently replaced some of my PC hardware and had to reinstall Windows and CS3 etc. Ever since, Illustrator seems to be able to work fine when I start a new document and save it. However, if I even just open any document I created before I reinstalled and then try to save a file in AI (new or old), I get an error message telling me "Illustrator has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down."
I've tried Saving As under a different name/file type, copying/pasting content from the old document into a new one - doesn't work. Just opening any old file makes this error come up when I save.
Every other program in CS3 seems fine - only Illustrator has given me this problem.
Any help??

I never had a printer.. I installed a scanner recently but this was happening before that so I don't think that's it.
I tried reinstalling Illustrator as well but it didn't help.
How would I reinstate everything back to the way it was? I assume reinstalling it would've done that?
Someone else told me it might have something to do with scripting? Does that make any sense??

Captivate 3 shuts down when opening Cap 2 projects

Hi there,
Hoping someone can help with this. I am amending captivate 2
proejcts on Captivate 3. Sometimes when I go to open the projects
in Cap 3, I get the usual screen, overwrite or re-name etc, but
which ever option I choose Captivate then shuts down - completely
disappears instantly.
It mainly happens on the larger files - but not necessarily.
I could open a 60,000kb project in 3 but then couldn't open a
30,000kb one.
I still have Captivate 2 so am working around it by making my
changes in Captivate 2. But I'd really rather do everything in
Captivate 3 now.
Anyone know the answer?

I'm not going to go so far as to say this is *THE* answer.
Only that it's one possibility.
Perhaps consider creating a blank project in version 3 sized
identically to the problem child project in version 2. Then open
both version 2 (with the problem child project loaded) and version
3 (with the new project loaded) on the same machine. Copy slides
from the version 2 project to the version 3 project.
Might be worth a shot.

IPhone shuts down when opening camera

This has happened several times, and I'm sick of it...
From time tot time, when I open the iPhone camera application and start recording, my iPhone (4s) just shuts down...
I still have a high battery-percentage (50%, 30%, 70%, whatever) and when I plug it in, it starts again at this percentage...
Sometimes I'm able to video-record at 5%, sometimes it just shuts down at 50%...
What causes this? And more importantly, how can I fix this?

did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again? If still no change, a restore "as new iphone" would be the next step. In that case don't use your backup to get your data back, it may contain damaged files causing your problem.

Jdeveloper shutting down when opening GUI...

I've just began to test the tutorials and encountered this nasty problem :
making the project, everything is Ok, but after some steps (arbitrary : the problem never occurs at the same moment), when I try to open the design of my form (tutorials : Building Enterprise Applications with Business Components for Java,Creating a Java GUI Client) JDevelopper freezes or shut down itself without notificate any error.
The stranger in this is with the same project, I can consult the Java source without any problem, make an build the project, run it most of the times (sometime the project is running but the application form does not appear...), but still can't modify the design form...

IPhoto shuts down when exporting a file

Hello Mac - Pros out there.
I have a problem when exporting files from iPhoto. Everytime I export a file, it shuts down with the following error message. I tried to find the answer in the forum, but i only found something with deleting an HPPsomething explorer file, which i cannot find. It might be not there.

Dreamweaver CS3 Stalling when opening html files

Hello,
I have Dreamweaver CS3 running Mac OS X 10.5.2 on a new Mac
Pro, and have had no problems until now. All of a sudden,
Dreamweaver hangs for between 5 and 10 minutes when opening various
HTML files. Once the files are open, generally it's fine, without
any delays or other problems.
The files are email newsletters, with some of the images
hosted on a remote server, and some hosted locally on my computer.
The only difference I can think of is that I installed Fireworks
and Contribute yesterday, but I don't know if this is related.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be, or if
there is anything I can do to solve it?

Have tried all the suggestions listed there... and some
more... even reinstalled Dreamweaver... removed all extensions...
even shifted some of our files from the server to the local
machine... still hangs... used IP nos in FTP addresses, Rosetta
mode (that is ugly), removed splash screen, stopped images being
viewed from Internet, reset config files etc etc
I'm not really bleating at Adobe, as CS3 was out long before
Leopard... or is it the Intel based Mac Pro? ...I really don't
care... I just want a service pack from someone that will fix this
nonsense. I have seen many forum threads from all over with people
complaining about this issue.
We also had a you-beaut Mac server installed for our local
files (also running Leopard) and our PCs could not lock/unlock
files (again people pleading for fixes from all around the world).
Now this was a real pain when working in a team environment with
Dreamweaver. Answer to this... install Tiger on the server and all
came good again.
The mess we have had with Leopard and Dreamweaver far
outstrips Vista issues on PCs... on that note... also we run a new
HP PC... CS3 products are running like a dream on that machine.
Even an old PC P4 266 we have chugs (OK slowly) with all CS3 Design
Premium.
So back in 06-18-2007 Adobe admits there is a problem with
the new Macs running Leopard and Dreamweaver... we even had our
local Mac folk admit there are problems (that was like getting
blood out of stone for that admittance)
We have lost a tremendous amount of productive hours over
these issues... can someone from Adobe please communicate with
Mac/Apple over these issues... or is it a case of "it is not our
problem, they need to come up with a solution..."

I have done a complete uninstall and re install of iTunes and all related apple programs from my laptop through control panel, add remove programs and also by going through program files and deleting all tracers of any left over folders remove programs may have missed.
