Drivers for WIN7 (HP ENVY 6-1154er)

Why for this laptop there are no drivers on win7? I can't use the acquired computer only because you cooperate with {Content Removed} Microsoft and advance nasty win8! The same drivers which are offered to downloading, don't approach to the device! Wifi adapter isn't established that does this laptop simply piece of iron! Where I can take  drivers for Win7?

Hi,
Your laptop:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=ru&lc=ru&dlc=ru&tmp_geoLoc=true&docname=c03542688
It says that laptop is an Intel based and the wifi chip is also Intel. Simply go to Intel support website and download the necessary drivers:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
Chipset, vga and wifi can be downloaded there.

  • Just ordered a T400s what about drivers for win7

Hi, Just ordered a T400s it will come with Vista business english 3 questions: i think i will upgrade with win 7 home premium (either dutch or english) and because the machine has 4GB of Ram i think it'l be wise to use 64 bit?? (use photoshop cs4, windows office, internet) Can i buy an upgrade and do a clean and fresh install? Are the new software and drivers for this machine with win 7 available yet?

If you just bought the Vista machine it is probably eligible for the Windows 7 Upgrade Program.
Yes I would recommend 64-bit to make use of all of your 4GB RAM. If you start with 32-bit VIsta, you must do a clean install. If you start from 64-bit Vista, you can do an upgrade or clean install, your choice.
Released Windows 7 drivers are already starting to appear on the support pages. The official schedule is "on or about October 22nd". Beta drivers have been available for a while.

  • P45 Platinum IEEE1394 drivers for Win7 x64

I just reinstalled my PC with P45 Platinum mainboard and everything installs fine with the drivers from the MSI website, however there is no driver for IEEE1394 controller there.
I installed Win7 x64 now, before I installed WinXP and at the time of that installation it installed fine.
I am not using the IEEE1394 controller at the moment but there is a exclamation point in the device manager I want to get rid of.
Can anyone point me to the driver, thnx.

In windows 7 there's no Firewire driver needed it should automatically install it as already integrated. Is it already installed and exclamation mark on it like it isn't working correctly or unknown device?

  • Need Drivers for my HP Envy 15-257ca

I searched the forum for a solution to this problem and didn't see anything for my particular model.
I gave Windows 8 a fairly lengthy try - about 2 weeks. Hated it so much.. so  I have "upgraded" to Windows 7 Home Prem 64 bit.  I'm having issues finding drivers.  I would appreciate any help I can get.

Yes i understand.. Yes my laptop has both Intel graphic and Nvida GT 840M graphic. I already got it working.. the only issue i had was the wireless, bluetooth, wired and some of such as fingerprint thingy... I was dumbfounded at first then i forgot to use the product ids and search em online.. heh. I'm kind of person who like to double check everything and make sure im doing it right and not screw my laptop i just bought... Its my first HP laptop and i already had experience with printers it was great.. and i had heard horror stories about HP laptop but i thought if you look after it and keep it up to date plus care.. it should be no different than having any brand.. well most of em. The only laptop i had was Toshiba Satallite, two of em.. plus two Acer Aspires, but one was bad and other was good.. so.
But thanks for the help and such.. i'm glad i made the right choice.. i was looking for a decent $1000 laptop with discret graphic card plus able to use Windows 7 on it.. glad it works out. But bear in mind i used my spare WD Black 750GB hard drive instead the original.. kept the original intact put away..

    Hi:
Most if not all of the W7 x64 drivers from this model should work on that one.  Do not use the BIOS and firmware files.

  • HP Support - Drivers for OJ T65 - Windows 7

Do we have to fill the dumpster with all of our HP T65s?
We really need fully functioning drivers for win7.
The "Basic driver"  isn't working and we need to print yesterday, and the day before, and the day....
PS. Windows update doesn't seem to recognize the HP OJ T65 no matter how loud we yell "T65! T65!".

As listed here there is no driver planned for the T65, either from Windows Update or otherwise.   I would not expect there will ever be a full featured driver for this dozen year old AIO.
For printing I would suggest installing the Deskjet 890c driver by using "Add a Printer".
Depending on your operating system version  (Windows 7 Pro or higher) and CPU capability (requires hardware virtualization) you may find WIndows 7 XP Mode to be a workable solution.

  • Audigy 2, X-Fi, or VIA Vinyl for Win7

% Finally upgraded to Win7 from XP but now I'm torn on what to do about audio. ?I was using the audigy 2 but the drivers for win7 seemed shaky so I've been using my onboard VIA Vinyl audio. ?Seems to work ok but I'm bummed after I discovered I only get crappy 2.0 software sound in LOTRO. ?I was thinking about upgrading to x-fi but x-fi + lotro = BSOD apparently. ?Anyone have any adviceAnyone having good luck with audigy 2 in win7?

OK so the x-fi extreme audio isnt a true x-fi card, I get that (the cheeky beggers!).
    Kudos for the heads up
Apart from that, no, there isn't anything particularly bad, and for its price it is perhaps the best thing you can get (think of it as an Audigy 2 SE with upgraded drivers), since there isn't really anything better in the mid-tier.
If all you want is something to replace the onboard that will work reliably under Vista, then it's perfect for the job, although the relati'vely small price difference with a bulk Xtreme Gamer may tempt you to make the big step to the "true" X-Fis. However, don't fall for it unless you are ready to cope with a lot of potential problems and reduced Vista functionality.
If you can find the bulk edition of the Xtreme Audio, then I'd say go for it.

  • Need Win7 64Bit Beats Audio Drivers for Envy Touchsmart after Win8 Downgrade

    Hi All,
I must have read 100 threads and downloaded about that many IDT Audio Drivers in an attempt to install the beats control panel for Win7.
My Serial # is[Personal Information Removed]. Product # is E6G27PA#ABG
I've managed to get all the Win7 drivers for all other products, and whilst the sound is working its usuing the defauly Audio driver and thus not making use of the subwoofer or other fancy beats devices.
Can anybody recommended the correct driver for this model under Win7? Everyone I've tried has just led me either back to the default windows one or won't install properly.
    Cheers,
    AB

  • Need Windows 7 drivers for HP ENVY m6-1205dx

    Dear All,
i just downgraded win 8 to win7 professional on HP envy m6-1205dx
    i need win7 drivers for envy m6-1205dx
its not on HP drivers download site
    Thank you.

    Hi:
First install the AMD chipset drivers and reboot.  You want the 49.7 MB chipset file.
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows 7 - 64
The install both of these drivers for the USB3.0 if the above chipset driver did not install them for you.

Then all of the rest of the W7 x64 drivers and software you need from this model should also work on yours.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS FROM THIS MODEL.

    Hi:
There is no W7 32 bit switchable graphics driver for that configuration from anywhere.
Your only choice if you want to succesfully run W7, is to install W7 x64, and then you can use the drivers and software from the m6t-1000 except the BIOS and firmware files.

  • Win7 Not Installing Drivers for 1st Gen Touch

    Hello folks,
I've been trying to get my 1st Gen Touch up and running in the most recent version of iTunes, installed onto a dual-boot machine (32-bit Vista and Win7). In Vista, the Touch works perfectly. Flip over to Win7, and no dice. I can hear the chime sounding that a USB device has been plugged in and removed, but at no point does any drivers actually install, no info pop-up that new hardware detected, and no iPod listed in the USB devices of Device Manager.
I've tried following the directives of http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1852 to no effect; everything looks to be in order. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. The only, and I mean only, sign of life I've seen out of Win7 is the one time I managed to fluke my way into Recovery Mode on the Touch, at which point it was recognized as a generic iPod in Win7. I just didn't think that a recovery wipe and reinstall would be a necessary step to a normal installation.
Further, I've also tried running the iTunes program in compatibility mode for Vista, and with Admin privileges for Win7 mode, to no effect. Does anyone have any ideas on what I'm overlooking? I know the hardware works; this has to be software...
    Thanks!

I got it working, though the steps I had to use were draconian in measure, and not what I would reasonably expect the average user to endure just to get their iPods working. Since the Touch was showing signs of life in Factory Restore mode, I let it do that once. Wiped all the data out of it, but errored on the reinstall. Curious, I thought. I had Device Manager up at the time, and saw a generic 'iPod' entry in Portable Devices.
Okay, fair enough... I restart the factory restore, wait for the generic 'iPod' entry. Right-click, Properties, 'Update Driver', search automatically. Suddenly, lo and behold, the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver shows up under USB Devices, and my Touch starts working as pretty as you please. I'm fortunate that I can go back into Vista to re-sync to get my music and apps back, but at least it's working now. Might I suggest seeing if there's a less Nuclear Option process for accomplishing the same goal?

If not, try the one directly from Intel...

    8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
    1TB SATA 5400RPM
    AMD Radeon HD 6770M - 2 GB GDDR5 out of ~6GB dedicated
Installed the latest version of Win 8.1 + all it's updates + the update 1. So it's as latest as possible. Even installed those Win Updates that MS threatened they will only offer to a certain point it time in May and not later than that. So it's all updated.
However, the GPU drivers don't work. Tried different forums too and even tried those brightness registry fix files, but still to no avail. Will HP ever provide a meaningful GPU driver both for Win7 and Win8? I am saying Win7 too, cos the one offered currently for my HP Pavilion dv7-6b76eo is ridiculously old ....

  • HP, Win7, and Drivers for Older Printers Of Course

Running  Win7RC 32 Bit just for compatibility testing.  My parents have a 5650 and I have a 5850 at home in the Deskjet printer series that have been great printers.  Maybe some of HP's best compared to my 600, 700, and 800 series of years past My 5850 is using the 5600 family drivers in Vista 32 Bit and works good.  Win7RC is another story BUT it is still considered beta ware.  The vast majority of answers in this forum concerning printer drivers state that everyone should wait til October 22.  I am asking if there is any hope for us older printer owners in receiving compatiable drivers or should we start looking for new printers?  I would imagine that the HP engineers have an idea of what HP products they plan to support and which items will be obsolete.    Windows 7 has a lot of anxious people ready to move up from XP and especially Vista.  I myself would like to be ready for Win7 when my three pre-ordered copies arrive in October just as many people here would.  Would be a shame to load a new OS and not be able to print anything.

By the way, the HP 6MP Laser Jet in my office works with my Win7RC notebook.  It is being shared through a server running XP Pro SP3 and received the driver from the server.  The Win7RC notebook is also able to print to our HP P4014n Laser Jet network printer OK.  I have a 882C Desk Jet on our network running on another XP Pro SP3 PC, but I have not tried connecting to it yet.
