Dropdown Not Working on ISR Adobe Form ...

I am trying to create Dropdown for The Positiones in the ISR Form through Transaction SFP.
I have Taken The UI Element "ISR DDL 1 st Selected" ie. from ISR Native Library as my Form is of Layout type 'ZCI'. I have also written the Logic for Populating ADDITIONAL_DATA Table .
But, Problem is this Dropdown is Only working for Characteristic "PERNR" from the scenario. For any other chracteristic with the same process only one value is getting populated not rest.
That Dropdown only working for characteristic "PERNR" & not for any other characteristics ??

I have created One Scenario ZREQ & For the same i have created my own BADI
ZQISR1_ZREQ which is not copied from the standard BADI Implementation, hence no question of copying the standard Functionality for PERNR.
I have debugged my BADI code & additional Data Table getting populated exactly similar for Characterisic "PERNR" & "PLANS" , but still PERNR Dropdown is working & "PLANS " Dropdown is not.
I am taking DD from ISR Library because its proposed that ISR Form with "ZCI" layout type should use "ISR Natiove Library" as Scenario for HR Forms & processes we create in QISRSCENARIO are defaulted to form with this Layout type.

Hi Anna,
Have you created a form through the HCM Processes and Forms scenario? If you have, you can send a form from one person to another with form information filled in by the form initiator, but this has to be configured using workflow, and it would only appear in their Workflow Inbox.
This is a link to SDN eBook on e-mailing Interactive Forms. This is not done with HCM Process and Forms, but gives you an idea on how to do it...

My HP ProBook 440 G2, Finger print reader not working when I upgraded form Win 7 Pro to Win 8.1 Pro.
In device manager showing that biometric reader is working properly. But actually the finger printer reader is not reading or senseing. It seems like "dummy" part. Please help me to correctly configure step by step for this issue.

ISR Adobe Form Validation

hi,
In ISR Adobe Forms I have 2 textfields where the user can enter the telephone no and email id .I want to do validation.So I have given the validation pattern as '('999')' 999-9999 and A'@'A'.'AAA.But it is showing "Field Validate Failed"..
What is the reason?
Can anyone tell me the steps how to validate the fields in adobe form..

Hi Rheema,
Either you can do the validation messages through the BAPI return messages fromt the BADI or through scripting by using the message box method (refer adobe life designer help). I would ssugggest to do more validations at script level or do a thorough check of the form, while pressing the review button (user command -'CHECK'.).
Regarding the validation patterns, kindly check the help doc of designer.

Dropdown box for SAP provided Adobe Form is not populating

Hi experts,
I am new to Adobe Interactive Forms. Right now we are using Standard Adobe form for the (PCR) Special Payment. But the drop down box for 'Reason for spl. Payment' is not getting populated. We have defined Reason for special payments in IMG. Also the form 'ISR_FORM_SPSP' has been converted to 'ZCI' format.
Can you please let me know is there anything else I have to configure?

Thank you for the reply. As I said I am using the Standard Adobe form provided by SAP (Special Payment) 'ISR_FORM_SPSP'. On another note ..I am also using the form for Changing working time 'ISR_FORM_SPWT' where the dropdown box for the 'new working time' is getting populated properly. I am new to Interactive Adobe Form so I really don't know where I can find the backend code for this form.
When I go to trasaction 'SFP' I could only see form and the interface being used. Is there a specific BADI that I need to look in? Where can I find the script for the Dropdown UI element.

Complete Button not working on ISR form

Hi,
I have used the IsrFormApprove Application for Processing Workitems at various levels.
Well, I have 2 Scenarios in my workflow.
Scenario-1
The Supervisor will go through the ISR Form and he will have APPROVE/REJECT Functionality i.e. the SUPERVISOR can approve/reject the WORKITEM(I passed the IFV='A' parameter to this IsrFormApprove Application.This scenario has no problems.
Scenario-2
The Supervisor will go through the ISR Form and he has only one action to do - Complete the WorkItem after he gives his comments i.e. this level supervior gives his comments looking over the form and just completes the workitem. Then the control should flow to the next level supervior and do the same. Actually in this scenario, there is no APPROVAL / REJECTION here. It's just COMPLETION of WORKITEM.
Well, I have sent the application parameter IFV = 'P' to this IsrFormApprove application. Well, I am getting only 1 button COMPLETE.
But the functionality for this button is provided in such a way that - When we press COMPLETE the workitem is going to RESERVE Mode. The workitem stays in his own INBOX. The control is not flowing further.
Is there any way of providing the FUNCTIONALITY for COMPLETE button?

Hi Lalit,
If you want to trigger the WebDynpro Action on button click of adobe form, place the 'Submit' button from WebDynpro Native Library.
If you have the same then, remove it once and place it once again.

How to have multi select dropdowns for web request and adobe forms

Hi All,
I am working on interactive forms for CRM 7.0 using web request and ZCI layout.
When I say web request we define the fields required for the form in CRM that becomes the context for WDA and passed onto Adobe form.
This web request is a flat structure which mean if I have a node and attributes with in that you cant have multiple values to wards this node as in WDA.
Now My query:
I have a field called "xyz" since web request is a flat structure i just defined it as a string.
In WDA I made it a enumrated field and added key value pairs to it.
In Adobe form I binded this field to a WD native enum dropdown list every thing is fine untill here.
Now in the form I need this as a multiple select, so i changed the dropdown field to list box it works.
The form has to be submitted as a draft version when did so, it will not execute any APIs but saves the data to the web request.
When the same form is opened for the next time, with the data in web request it should reopen this field with the multiple seleced values high lighted.
since the field xyz is a single filed of string, how can i maintain multiple values in that...?
if there is a form status auto save function in Adobe form this might solve a bit but not sure when the form is opened 2nd time from web reqest view does it consider it as a new one or open the same form...?
I have such dropdown fields and problems including ones with depenedt values on one another.
I tried my best to explain the problem, if somebody can help me with this its much appriciated.
Note: Since this is dependent on CRM web request I am posting the same query in that block also apologies if this mean a duplicacy.

I got the solution and problem is solved.
Iterating & processing a enumrated dropdown is like any other dropdown /list box in adobe forms.

Webservice call not working in published PDF form

I've set up a dropdown field in a standard PDF form and have written the following code to run on the 'On Focus' event:

This works great in Adobe Acrobat Pro X, but when I save as a Reader Extended PDF with Additional Features, the code no longer runs and I'm stuck with what was prefilled in Professional before the save.
We're trying to get dynamic values for these fields from users in the field who will be filling out and submitting these forms. We are also limited to a standard PDF form, LiveCycle isn't an option for us. Can anyone recommend a method that will work or maybe tell me why this isn't working like we believe it should?

It's not working because the usage right that is required for it to work in Reader is not added when the form is enabled with Acrobat. It can be added if you enable the form with LiveCycle Reader Extensions.
An alternative is to submit (using doc.submitForm JavaScript method) to a web server and have it return an FDF that sets the dropdown values. This can work even if the form is not Reader-enabled. You'll just need to find out how to create the type of FDF that will do this and program the server to return it.

Authorization Profile needed for ISR Adobe Forms

We have a couple of Custom ISR's and PCR's that are launched in Enterprise Portal.
Well my Development ID had SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW Profiles attached.
Now, when we started testing with the sample Test id's which doesnt have SAP_ALL or SAP_NEW profiles, we are getting error in ENTERPRISE PORTAL saying that...
"You are not authorized to use the Notification Type 99"
Can anyone help me out in knowing the exact Authorization Objects for our Adobe Forms to run in EP.
I cannot attach SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles to all my users.

Im new to the ISR framework implementation.
We have a problem when we try testing a scenario using the adobe part, we have not done this before and we getting errors.
We get the following errors:
1. When using Administrator and Adsuser:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?
2. When i use my profile username:
com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"https://10.142.252.157:50001/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?style=document:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document"
Can anyone advise me on what i should configure so that this can work properly...
Is it an issue with the authorisation, because the ADS tests are all working.

First, have you set a breakpoint in this code and made sure that you are getting data into lt_image_bin? That would seem to be the first place to start.
Then the question is how are you trying to pass the image into the Adobe Form? Are you passing an XSTRING context attribute into the form interface? Have you marked that part of the interface as an image? Are you setting the MIME Type parameter of the form interface as well. You really haven't posted any details about what you are doing on the Adobe Form side.

Suddenly can't enter anything in some blank search fields, dropdowns not working, and javascript popups freeze randomly. WTH?

I noticed a few random things not working on my computer in the last month or so, and I tried everything I can think of to figure out what it is...still haven't figured it out yet. Some examples - I was on ebay, and the tracking number I clicked on from the "My ebay" page popped open a javascript window, but then froze the page so I had to close the whole tab. Then on Grooveshark, the main page comes up, but if I type anything in the search field, I can see what I'm typing, but at the same time, I can still see their default search message. If I try to enter something and hit search, it just gives me the warning that I'm being asked if I want to leave the page, it never searches. There are a few other times I can think of that I tried to use a dropdown menu, and they don't always work - they just look like they're being clicked, but nothing shows. Also not sure if this is related or not, but it bears mentioning - I tried to install Freecorder, and even though I tried both the toolbar and just the button for installation options, it doesn't show up for me to use it, and that's with adblock plus disabled. Also not positive my last update of Adobe Flash took, even though I downloaded it.
I have adblock plus, but I've had that for years now, and it's never caused a problem or stopped me from seeing anything I actually wanted to see. My system was pretty bada** before this, and it's frustrating that suddenly I can't go everywhere and do everything I could before. Why is it doing this, and can I fix it??

Meh...if I had started here instead of trying to research this randomly, I would have fixed the problem weeks ago. I just did a Firefox reset, and tried all the things I mentioned in the OP, and it all seems to work fine now. Well, aside from Freecorder, but I can make that work another way, I guess. Anyway, Firefox reset = solution. Yay!

Item line data not flowing into SAP Adobe form layout

Hello Gurus,
I am currently working on adobe form layout for a sales document in SAP, i have created a master page
as well as a couple of pages in the design view. Data at the header level are working properly, but the item data
are not flowing into the layout, as nothing appears in the print preview for the item level of the sales document.
I have done all the necessary binding with all the right field names, my subform to the best of my knowledge seems to be well
defined, but yet to no avail.
I would like to know what yet could be the reason for this issue and how i can go about fixing it.

the basis have solved the problem and the configuration checks for ADS are succesful now.
Now i try to create change the code of conduct application iview change the name space to
sap.com/pcgui~isr(dont mind the spelling i have given the right component)
application name= IsrForm
application parmetrs = (given according to older thread messages)
but nothing is coming up. I get the Ie message saying
Security settings does not allow page to be displayed correctly and only a "cross" icon is appearing at the top of the page..
Pls tell me what should i do now..

I need to create a F4 help for a field in adobe form created using ISR.
I have used the ISR text edit - Value help , But when i run the adobe form using the SFP tcode the
F4 help is not displayed.
Please suggest the way to populate the the input field with the domain F4 value.
What are the prerequiste to run a ISR ?
