I was wondering if there are any affects on the phone after being dropped. I had no case on it fell on concrete. so i was just wondering if I shuld expect anything happening to ym phone...

I dropped mine off my lap onto a laminate floor ........... not a mark
But the case is well and truly not being removed unless i'm stood (sat) on a velvet cushion!!!!

Hello ymprice91277, let's solve this mystery! To unlink the Facebook contacts go to Settings, Facebook, turn off contacts.

I updated my Iphone last night to the latest version of software 7.1??? I cannot connect to my home wifi. It recognizes it's presence but keeps telling me i am unable to join. any clues???
when I look at the information of my Iphone about the home WIFI all the information is blank. Its only picking up the name of the wifi.

You need to get your phone repaired. It's obviously damaged, and nothing we can suggest to you will fix that.

HT1766 I started a iCloud backup of my iPhone last night before I went to bed and when I woke up it said 15 hours remaining and stayed that way for over an hour and has not changed

I started a icloud backup of my iphone last night before I went to bed as I was told at the apple store yesterday that it could take up to 3 hours to backup. When I woke up this morning it was still going and said 15 hours remaining. After an additional hour or so the screen still read 15 hours remaining. I need to understand how I am suppose to backup the device to icloud without having to take this long as I cannot be without my phone for an entire day or longer due to work requirements.

If you're in recovery mode, all data is ALREADY lost. You've no choice but to restore.

I updated my iphone to the iOS 6 last night and everything else is working fine except for conntecting to wifi. Its just 'thinking' but wont actually connect. I tried restarting my phone which didnt do anything. I turned on and off wifi with no luck. I also forgot the network and signed in again with the correct password, still nothing. Updated iPhone last night, cant get stuff to back up the right way

Hey everyone,
I'm new here, so if i'm in the wrong place i'm sorry. Last night I updated my 3GS to the 4.1.3 software, and my faulty USB cable decided to disconnect in the process, so i had to find another cable and start over. Since then, my iPhone has not been the same. Most importantly my camera role is completely empty, when before it had hundreds of pictures. How can i get them back?
Also, some of my apps were missing, and now completely out of order, when before they were organized in folders. My Wifi settings that were saved before along with my email accounts were also lost. Both relatively easy things to recover, but i'm curious wether this happens with alot of people or not.

When iTunes is done restoring, it will ask if you want to "setup like new" or from a backup. Which did you select? Did you manually backup your files or sync your computer before you updated?

I lost my iPhone last night. I had downloaded a large sum of music through my phone without backing it up is there anyway I could get the music back?

So last night I lost my phone and I hadn't backed it up for about a month. I don't normally purchase music on my computer I just purchase it through my phone. I had about $55-$60 worth of music that had not been backed up. I was just wondering if there was any hope that I would be able to get it back onto my iTunes. If I can't, this will truly be the day the music died.

I remotely wiped my iPhone on Saturday night...Sunday afternoon I restored my iPhone to settings from a while ago. I was not near a wifi to connect my phone to icloud. I noticed on icloud that there are contacts on the cloud that i would like to add to my phone. Is there a way now that I can add the contacts that are on cloud to my iphone?

Any contacts that are in iCloud will be restored to your phone when you sign back into iCloud and enable iCloud syncing.

Loaded 4.2 on my iPhone last night. Now iPod icon returns "no music"

I loaded 4.2 on my iPhone (3GS) lst night. Now when I access the iPod function I get a "no content" message. When I go to settings>general>about the page indicates 700+ songs. Any one else have this issue?

This has been documented quite a bit. All you need to do is another sync in iTunes with the iPhone and it should take care of it. As you can see, the music is still on the phone, but something is keeping it from being accessed. The resync will correct that. It should only take a moment.

I'm so sorry for any trouble with calls and messages! I know how important it is to have a properly working phone. Which iPhone do you have? Please reset the network settings: settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Once that is done, please monitor the device and see if that corrects the issue. What is your zip code?

I got a new Iphone last night. All was fine with icloud today Icloud is empty and my 1200 pictures are gone. What can be done?

My Icloud pics are gone now that i got my new iphone. Can anything be done to retrive them?

You can't delete photos from Photostream without resetting it at iCloud.com, also you can't have 1,200 photos in Photostream.
Have you tried turning Photostream off and on again.
