DTW issue in ver. SBO 8.8

In ver 8.8, to import Item master data, SAP has provided us three files:
a) ITM1 - Items_Prices
b) OITM - Items
c) OITW - ItemWarehouseInfo
I mapped the fields provided in clients documents and tried to import data by using DTW. Here, I  have found many issues which I am listing down below:
c) In column "CustomsGroupCode", error thrown because this field must be whole number
d) In column "DesiredInventory", error thrown because this field must be numeric
e) In cloumn "ItemType", how to add new item type
f)  In column "ItemsGroupCode", error thrown because this field must be whole number
g) Columns ItemsGroupCode2, ItemsGroupCode3, SKU, CountryofOrigin, Brnd, CartonCBM and CartonGrossWgt is missing in provided template for item master data import
h) In column "cardcode", error thrown because value  does not exist
i) In column "PurchaseWeightUnit" error thrown because this field must be whole number
Please give me some suggestions

Hi Liz,
We had the exact same problem. We couldn't figure out why, but just implemented a workaround. We created a "welcome" page for every book in the TOC and had the books link to their specific "welcome" page. Now that page displays when a user clicks the book. Not especially elegant, but it did the trick for us. I'd be very curious to see if there's another fix to this issue out there.

  • Install issue nForce3 Ver. 5.11 on Neo2 Platinum

    Hello,
I am putting together a PC using the K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard (bios 1.C), Athlon XP3200+ (Venice Core) CPU, an ATI Radeon X800Pro AGP graphics card, 2 X 512mg sticks of ram, one 160gig SATA hard drive and LG4163 DVD burner.  The on board sound has been enabled in the bios.
I had no problems with a straight forward install of Windows XP Pro.  However, when I ran the chipset driver install (nForce3 -V5.11) that I downloaded from the nVidia website, the machine rebooted into a blank screen.  I tried rebooting back into Windows without success.  The boot sequence would post but Windows would just hand on a blank screen!
The only thing I could do (i have done this twice now) was a complete reinstall of Windows to try again.  Unfortunately, when I tried to install those 5.11 drivewrs the same thing would happen.  I have finally had some success by using ver. 5.03 from the MSI website and everything now seems ok.  However, I would like to install the latest drivers especially if this is a known issue which has been resolved.  Anyone gfot any advice on this??
    Thanks

It's better to used the ver 5.10 as it much more stabile rather than 5.11 as it causing many problems.

There are major problems with its IDE and LAN drivers. For example I get a BSOD or my rig reboots when it tries to install the network driver. After that Windows refuses to work again. Also the IDE driver has a SATA2 bug (when you use a SATA2 drive on the SATA1 nForce3) that causes a 30 second black screen delay right when XP starts to boot.
Latest official nForce3 driver is from 2005, and latest x64 driver is from 2004 and its beta... Now thats what I call being a lazy arse. You suck at drivers NVIDIA!
I also using SATAII hdd but jumpered it to SATA mode but yet i has no problem with that.
Also using the IDE n Sata drivers has no problem

  • OStocktaking DTW issue

I have used DTW a lot to do my inventory adjustments. I am not having some issues. I do the upload and it says it loaded sucessfully. I did notice some strange things though. The template says "CountedQuantity" but the field in oStock posting says "counted". I selected "counted from target fields so the two fields connect. I do not remember seeing that in the past and when I looked at my past uploads they always say "Counted Quantity. I used DTW today on another upload and it worked fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried doing the update with another "play" database that we have on the server. Same thing. I also did an oItem update and it worked fine. One question when you do an oStockTaking update and you get done and click finished it tells you if it was successfull and assigns a "key" number for each row updated. When I did an oItem import it listed out each item# as the "key" number. When I did oStockTaking all of the "key"  numbers were the same. Is that normal.

  • Exporting issues with ver 5.2

I recently updated to pages version 5.2.  After the update, I am unable to export a document to PDF.  When I do choose to export, go through the steps of nameing it, directing it where to save, the status bar shows it makes progress, but then I get an error that reads:  The document "blank" could not be exported as "blank".
However, the strange thing is that if I do the export process and name it, but just save it to my documents - as opposed to a specific folder within my documents - it will export.
I have the same issue when trying to save a pages file.
Has anyone experienced this same issue?
It is just strange.  It's not that big of a deal, but just annoying...

    hi Bruno,
The System compares the current posting date of your document e.g. Credit Memo with the posting date of the other Credit Memos. Therefore, if there is a document in the database whose posting date is later than the current one, this system message will pop up.

  • 5508 WLC going to the 11ac level, any issues running ver 7.6.120?

We do have 3850's to use. Do they have to be mobility members to the wireless system? or will the LAN base work for the connections?

The 3850 must have IP Base or IP Services to terminate Access Points in a Converged Access wireless network.  If you are running a non-converged access network then you can use your 3850 to connect access points to the network like you would any other switch.
You must also have RTU licenses for each AP you want to connect to your 3850/3650 switches.
7.6.120 is non-converged access code so I am assuming you want to do the latter.

  • DTW on Windows Vista

    Hi All,
I'm running SAP Business One 2005B on Windows Vista Ultimate successfully for sometime now. When i tried installing DTW, it gives an error saying wrong operating system, during the installation.
I then tried installing DTW which came with SBO 2007B. It got installed correctly, but when I run it and try to upload data, it is not showing the files required in correct manner. For example, it does not show the documents file tab for purchase order, instead it starts from document_lines.
    Does anybody have any solution.

SAP Note 865192 - How to optimize the performance of the DTW
    Summary

    Reason and Prerequisites
    Functionality Description
    Solution
The following methods will help improve the performance.
    1. It is best to import/update smaller files. If the data file is very large, separating the whole file into several smaller files is recommended.
    2. Also separating every item file according to the separate type of the header file. For example, for "BillOfMaterials" object, if the files include 10000 records, the header file which include 10000 records is as follows.
    Linetype,RecordKey,TreeCode,TreeType,Quantity
    Linetype,RecordKey,Product No.,Product Type,Quantity
    H,1,B00001,3,20
    H,2,B00002,3,50
    H,3,B00003,3 ,100
    H,10000,B10000,3 ,100
The item file includes 10000 records, that are 30000 rows is as follows.
    Linetype,RecordKey,LineNum,ItemCode,Quantity,Warehouse,Price,Currency
    Linetype,RecordKey,LineNum,ItemCode,Quantity,Warehouse,Price,Currency
    I1,1,0,A0000,10,1,20,USD

    I1,10000,2,A9999,10,1,10 ,USD
If user is prepared to separate the files into 10 files, each file includes 1000 records. The resulting files are as follows.
The header file which includes 1000 records of the first set is as follows.
    Linetype,RecordKey,TreeCode,TreeType,Quantity
    Linetype,RecordKey,Product No.,Product Type,Quantity
    H,1,B00001,3,20

    I1,1000,2,A0999,10,1,10,USD
The header file which includes 1000 records of the second set is as follows.
    Linetype,RecordKey,TreeCode,TreeType,Quantity
    Linetype,RecordKey,Product No.,Product Type,Quantity
    H,1001,B01001,3,20

    Linetype,RecordKey,LineNum,ItemCode,Quantity,Warehouse,Price,Currency
    Linetype,RecordKey,LineNum,ItemCode,Quantity,Warehouse,Price,Currency
    I1,1001,0,A1000,10,1,20,USD

    I1,2000,1,A1998,10,1,11,USD
    I1,2000,2,A1999,10,1,10,USD
The other 8 sets should be refered to the two sets above.
User may imports all of the 10000 records by executing it 10 times.
    3. Deleting the rows  in which the null data exist may imporve the efficiency. For example, if user prepares the data file of the "Bank" object as follows
    AbsoluteEntry,BankCode,BankName,CountryCode,DefaultBankAccountKey,IBAN,PostOffice,SwiftNo
    AbsoluteEntry,BankCode,BankName,CountryCode,DefaultBankAccountKey,IBAN,PostOffice,SwiftNo
    1,1,bank1
    2,2,bank2
    3,3,bank3
This data file have 8 fields but only 3 fields have valid values. user can transform this table to the following table.
    AbsoluteEntry,BankCode,BankName
    AbsoluteEntry,BankCode,BankName
    1,1,bank1
    2,2,bank2
    3,3,bank3
In the step 4 of the DTW, that is check the input data, user must make every field of the source data correlate the corresponding target field.

  • Since upgrading to ver 12 from 9.01 It takes between 15-30 minutes to startup then anything I click just has the spinning wheel ie wait. Both Ie and Chrome work

I had no issues with Ver 9.01 but since upgrading to Ver 12 it takes forever to startup but is unusable when it finally comes up. Any ideas why and how do I fix it. IE 9 and Chrome have no issues.

Try to start Firefox in [[Safe mode|Safe mode]]. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers].
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): [http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/].
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

  • Backward compatibility of Flash Player, Ver. 9.0

One week ago today, I upgraded my Adobe Flash Player to Ver.
9.0.47.0. Today, I used it for the first time in an attempt to view
a slide show with audio commentary on a web site. The first picture
of the slide show displays, but the slide show does not progress
from there and, as a result, I can not hear the audio. I tried to
contact the web site and ask them what version of Flash Player they
had used to create the slide show but, so far, no response from
    them..
Does anyone know of any incompatibility issues with Ver. 9.0
and earlier versions? If so, can anyone tell me what I have to do
to downgrade to a version of Flash Player that is earlier than
    9.0?

There is a document under development that covers all the
admin stuff for distributing the licensed Flash Player. However,
it's not public yet. That's where these details are going to be,
    officially.
Right now, all we really have is " IT administrators Flash
    Player FAQ" (
    http://www.adobe.com/go/b0dba60b).
The upcoming doc will be much more sophisticated..
For distribution purposes you must license the Flash Player

  • AnyConnect ver 2.5 what better in ver 3.1

Our company used anyconnect 2.5, with no problem and issue , as ver 3 better improved , I hope someone has experience ?

I'm not aware of any significant new bugs. If you're using 2.5 and you're happy with that, then feel free to stay on it for a while longer.
At some point you may decide to move forward based on either new features or support of the old software being discontinued. AnyConnect 2.5 is no longer sold and there will be no new bug fixes released after next summer. But, for now, 2.5 is still a supported product. (Reference)
3.1 has a lot of new features and presents an updated and more attractive user interface as well. Key new features include:
Next Generation Encryption-Suite B: Cisco has raised the global standard with next generation encryption, NSA's Suite B Cryptography utilizing IKEv2 / IPsec to ensure highly sensitive connections while still offering an optimal end-user experience.
Mobile Broadband Support: Network Access Manager's connectivity options have been expanded to support mobile broadband (3G / 4G) connectivity. As with Ethernet (802.3) and WiFi (802.11) connectivity, the AnyConnect Network Access Manager continues to support one connection at a time and automatically switches to Ethernet when available.
Global IPv6 Support: To ensure security for the next wave of IP addresses, the new IPv6 features include the ability to tunnel over an IPv6 public network to an IPv6 security gateway. IPv6 traffic can be tunneled over the connection for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), including Transport Layer Security and Datagram Transport Layer Security (TLS/DTLS) connections, but not for IPsec with Internet Key Exchange version 2 (IPsec/IKEv2) in this release.
Differentiated Device Access (EAP-Chaining): As personal devices proliferate onto the corporate network, the need to distinguish between corporate and personal devices will be a security imperative. Cisco is again leading the way to help IT professionals differentiate network access authenticating both the device and the user in a single transition.
Enterprise Connection Enforcement: Just as Internet enabled devices are coming in all shapes and sizes, so is the wave of available networks in common areas from airports to cafes, even extending to corporate sites in urban centers. Enterprise Connection Enforcement helps IT Professionals enforce IT policy on the endpoint preventing these connections when the corporate network is in range.
Enhanced end-user experience: The industry-award AnyConnect 3.0 user experience has a fresh new look and this experience is also available for OS X.

  • DI API Issues after P42

    Hi,
Using SBO 2007 A, we developed a .NET C# Application making use of DI API to create credit documents.
After patch 42 we are experiencing the following error when attempting to Add the completed document.
This has been working for over a year, up until the patch was applied.
    Herewith the exception thrown:
The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT)), Interop.SAPbobsCOM,    at SAPbobsCOM.IDocuments.Add()
I have removed the DI API from Add\Remove applications, deleted the temp folder and re-installed the DI API to correct patch level, this has not helped.
    Any ideas? Thanks.
