DTW Item update error

Hi there,
i got this error message by updating the item master and item prices :
"A positive value is required, [OITM, TreeQty]...."
That messages is display on some items. I do not understand what it means.

i do not really understand what u mean. I make a try with only RecordKey and ItemCode and got the same error. Is there some mistake with the item data record ?

ps. I execute a query for looking what value is inserted in TreeQty. In every field is a 1 inserted.

This is my first post, so please be gentle :-).
I am attempting to update the unit prices on a bunch of Sales Orders via DTW.
Some items update successfully, but some do not, failing with the error :
RDR1.GrossBuyPr line: x, 'Field cannot be updated (ODBC -1029)'Application-defined or object-defined erroroOrders
I am not attempting to modify this column, although I am guessing that this is calculated by Business One internally.
I am using 2 tab-delimited files :
Documents.txt, which contains the RecordKey & DocEntry columns.
Documents_Lines.txt, which at the moment contains RecordKey, LineNum, UnitPrice & ItemCode.
I have tried it with the UnitPrice column renamed to Price, and with and without the ItemCode column present, and they give exactly the same error.
If I remove the price column completely, then it works (but nothing has updated, obviously).
I have searched the forums, the only thing I can see that comes close is the UnitPrice / Price renaming.
Or am I going about this the wrong way? The prices that I want to import already exist as a price list, and we can manually change these in Business One by going Form Settings -> Price List when in a Sales Order, but I am unsure how to do this via DTW. There are approx 3000 items that need changing, so doing it manually is not really an option.

Using DTW to update the Item Master Data attachment tab

Hi Experts,
Has anyone tried using DTW to update the Attachments Tab on the Item Master Data please? I tried a few things (similar to importing an attachment to an activity) and couldn't get it to work.
I couldn't see that anything to do with the Attachments Tab was exposed in DTW when looking at the mapping fields and also when looking through the options available in the Items Object under Customize Templates - but then I might not be seeing it correctly!
Any ideas or solutions would be great.

Hi Caroline,
AtcEntry is correct for the document, this relates to the AbsEntry in OATC, which then in turn links to AbsEntry in ATC1.
There are a few fields that need to be populated in ATC1:
AbsEntry
Line - To be used if more than 1 Attachment
SrcPath - for the file path
Filename - for the file name
FileExt - for file type - i.e. .pdf
You may be able to configure DTW to import these as a manually created DTW but I suspect that OATC and ATC1 are not open to the Di which will stop it. Coincidently I have been looking at Task Centre to update these but have encountered the same problem

Open Delivery value update error in credit management

Hi
We have credit management active at delivery level. The value of open deliveries is not getting updated correctly for items with material substitution (material determination). For all other items, its getting updated correctly.
E.g Let say the credit limit set in FD32 is 10000 and the credit limit used % is 98 and the credit exposure value is 9800.
Now when I create an order with qty 10 for mat A, it creates a sub item B due to material determination and the value of the item is Rs.1200. In our system, the sub item with TAPS item category is relevant for pricing.
Then I create a delivery in VL01N and save it.
Now if i check in FD33, the credit limit used should be 101% and the credit exposure value should be 11000, but its not updating the open delivery value correctly. Its not considering the value of the new delivery.
However, If I add a normal item (TAN) in the same sales order and create a delivery for that item and save it, its updating the credit exposure based on the value of the normal item in the delivery correctly.
How to make the system update the open delivery values correctly by taking the items with material determination also into account.??
Please advise if any specific settings need to be done.

the system updates open values for credit management. These are:
Open sales order credit value (S066-OEIKW)
Open delivery credit value (S067-OLIKW)
Open billing document credit value (S067-OFAKW)
The system updates the open values in standard SIS structures S066 and S067. Technically, the structures are transparent tables. You can display the contents using transaction SE16 or using table maintenance.
The S067-OLIKW will give the open delivery credit values credit.Check in you system whether this table is updated with the delivery values for the credit account(customer number)
RVKRED77 u2013 Reorganize SD credit data
When updating errors occur, it enables you to reorganize the open credit, delivery and billing document values.
If the table is not updated run this report in background.

* Check for infection and Clear Rootkits in Program files / Appdata / temp / %temp%
* Check for unwanted Task scheduler task folder and delete them all
    * > C: \windows\System32\Tasks
    * > C: \Windows\Tasks
* Check start-up Services and programs
   * > Check Hide all Microsoft services and enable important programs and services needs for NJO remote services
    * > Disable unwanted start-up items
* Wait for all the process to complete and then,
* Try checking for windows update to see if updates can be found
* If no Updates can be found please make sure you ‘Restart ’ the cx Pc and then check for updates
These steps may Apply for any other windows update issue which results in fixing the issue

Item Import Error Message

I'm running the import items program to update the existing item in inventory. For that it is throwing some error when the record move from interface table to inventory base table. See below error message.

We have done following changes to Production environment.
1. Migrated Application from 2007 to 2010
2. Done User Domain Migration user MoveSP-User commmand
3. Then we Run following command to block users from another domain.

EDIT - Just adding some extra points that come from observation .
1. This Error comes when following scenario is true
First Attempt: User udated item in List "Issue Tracking" from Datasheet view
Second Attempt: User udate the same item in list from "Sharepoint UI or Custom aspx form".. After clickin on Save button this erro comes up.
Third Attempt: If after error user updates the same itme from UI the the data get saved
OR
Third Attempt : If after error user updates the same itme from datasheet view User get Unresolve data confilct again and again.
Above Scenario is true only for Existing items in lists. For Newly added Items this is not producible(erroe not generated).One of the ovbservation is that All the items which are having issue are migrated from 2007 to 2010

I have the exact same issue. SharePoint List which is causing this issue has got around 140 fields (All kinds of field types).
Do this happen only if there is a migration from one version to other?
This List is created using custom code - List Instance and not using Out of box SharePoint.
Please let me know if recreating the list (using OOB) or any other fix will resolve this issue.

Update error in BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE

I have to add new line items to the existing sales order, so I have created a BDC for t-code VA02, when I run the program after I save the Sales order I got update error which says "Item status (document 2123455, item 20) is missing".

Switching from transaction to BDC or BAPI will not help you. There is clearly a data issue in this order. Read the long text for the message - it might have some additional information.
I'm guessing that there is some kind of a custom status maintained in your system on item level (see VA03 -> item data -> Status tab). You might want to check with your SD specialist on the status configuration.
P.S. Also do use the Code tags when posting any code. Although in this case you might as well just delete the code since it has nothing to do with this problem anyway.

Update error after all screens in Batch Input session is processed.

Hi,
I have a problem in processing the batch input session. The batch input session is calling F-02 to post less than 999 line items (around 700) to a single financial document. The batch session is expected to have an error because tax code is missing for some line items but even after the tax code is added manually onto the batch screen, the update error message still happened at the end of the process. In the log, it said "System error: Error when inserting table BSET". Same account has been used to post 10+ line items manually with F-02, no error occurred.
Does anyone have any idea what possible reason could cause the update error in updating the tax table?

That is exactly what happened to us. We already had note 521481 in our system but we also have OSS 558288 in which causes our scenario not generating an error message but an update termination instead.
The other thing I found out is once tax code is entering in one of the line items, it will be copied to all the succeeding line items even for the accounts that does not require a tax code (i.e. posting without tax code allowed checked) which will significantly increase the amounts of data posted into BSET.
We fixed the issue by changing the BDC program so it will take out the auto-copied tax code from other line items. Issue is solved. Thank you. I also rewarded the points.

Windows Update Errors

Good Evening I constantly keep getting Windows update errors when trying to update the OS. I have tried allsorts from the windows update fixer to clearing out the Windows Update cache yet to no joy. Im starting to think that ive got possibly corrupt files somewhere...? A screenshot is below.. I have also used the Windows Resource Protection but it was unable to fix issues it found. Pic below.. PLease help!

We can take the following step to have a troubleshoot .
If there is any antivirus software installed ,please turn them off temporarily to have a check:
1.Run the built-in troubleshoot tool to have a diagnostic :
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories\Windows Update.
2.Clear the windows update cache.
net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
ren Download Download.old
net start wuauserv
Restart the machine and manually check for updates again
3.Try the fixit tool to reset Windows update Components as S.Sengupta posted.

No commitment Item Update while creation of Sales order

hi,
I have maintained Derivation Rule
Co Code / GL/ BA/ Plant / S Loc/ = Fund / Comitement / Fund Center.
Stil in that case at the time of creation of Sales order, systeme is giving error (++No commitment Item Update M V2225++)
And also i have maintained the Comitement Item in GL master.
Could you give me some solution.

Please check the following information of Consulting Note 1268001 (the same for funds center is valid to commitment item):
1. You receive the error message in a Sales Order (SD) process.
   a) SD customizing settings for FM objects.
   You can set "commitment item" as an optional entry in SD customizing settings for field status. This can be checked in the IMG path: SPRO -> Public Sector Management -> Funds Management Government-> Actual and Commitment Update/Integration -> Integration ->
   Maintain Field Status for Assigning FM Account Assignments
   You should have a record with Object type = '04' (sales order).
   It is not necessary to have the field as required (unless you want to insert it in the origin process) due to the fact that
   this can avoid the account assignment derivation between CO objects and FM objects. The field can not be hidden otherwise it will be not derived.
   For more information, check note 572729.
The system response depends on how you defined the fields of the FM dialog box using Customizing activity 'Maintain Field Status for Assigning FM Account Assignments':
     - The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as ready for input ('Opt. entry' or 'Req. entry') in Customizing:
        If you change the reference object in the sales order, the system does not re-derive FM data automatically. For that, you
        must navigate to the FM dialog box and, by choosing icon 'Redetermine account (F5)', trigger the derivation manually.
     -   The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as not changeable ('Display') in Customizing:
         If the reference object is changed in the order, FM data is redetermined automatically.
     - The fields of the FM dialog box are defined as not displayable ('Hide') in Customizing:
         FM data is not determined.
Therefore, set the field status to optional permit the user to enter the FM objects manually and still benefit from the possibility to
automatically derive the FM objects from a CO object.
For more information on integrating Plant Maintenance, Sales and Distribution and Project System, see the SAP Library Accounting -> Public Sector Management -> Funds Management -> Actual and Commitment Update -> Integration with Plant Maintenance, Integration with Sales and Distribution and Integration with Project System (Network).

   b) If you do not want to integrate sales order process within PSM-FM, you should consider to deactivate this integration in
      customizing transaction OFUP. In release EA-PS 1.10 and 2.00 modification note 591573 is available.
Please also check consulting note 1267998 and let me know if you have used FMDERIVE trace tool.
If you want to have SD integrated to FM, please check if in OFUP the flag of this integration is accordingly set.
If you work with free-of-charge sales order line items mixed with line items having value, please consider to apply note 1441847 (if it is valid to your current release/package).

Windows Vista Update Error 80072EFD

got Vista Home Premium 32bit and updates were running smooth till January. In Feb- March updates just stopped to work due error code 80072EFD. Have tried with Fixit ( doesn't work as well ) got an error 8004FE2C, and Win Defender got the same error
as updates 80072EFD. My laptop is without viruses ( have ESET Smart Security ) and no maleware ( have Malewerebytes ). Already had checked all Win Update services were they running, then resetting them and added the links of microsoftupdates.com in ESET
and Explorer ( preventing form blocking the site) even closed all firewalls and security.....without any success. Still got the same error 80072EFD!!
