DUMP: Adapter error in &VIEW_ELEMENT_TYPE& "ID" of view
Hi Experts,
I have created a component and i will be using this compnent in another component.
As in first component, i have a screen with text views whose values will be populated when the parent component will pass the parameters to the used component.
But in the used component. i am not able to see the initial screen and am getting the dump as follows:
"Adapter error in &VIEW_ELEMENT_TYPE& "ID" of view "ZCUSTOMER_DATA.MAIN": Context binding of property TEXT cannot be resolved: Node MAIN.1.CUSTOMERS does not contain any elements "
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Sahil
Hi Sahil ,
check the cardinality of CUSTOMERS node in MAIN view of ur component ZCUSTOMER_DATA.
It should be 1..n or 1..1

Hi All,
In webdynpro program am having a button and a select option.
When i enter value in the select option and press GO button, my program has to fetch records into a UI table element in the same view. This is working perfectly.
But when i am leaving the select option as blank and then if i press GO button, it is throwing the following error.
Adapter error in INPUT_FIELD "INP_PONUMBER_MAP" of view "ZMRR_SCR.V_NEWBILL": Context binding of property VALUE cannot be resolved: Node V_NEWBILL.1.N_BILL_DETAILS does not contain any elements
Note that i ve an input field below the table in the same view, which is bound to a node of cardinality 0 to n and selection 0 to 1.
The button method is getting executed fully and after that control goes to the following line.
when others.
raise exception type Cx_Wd_Bad_Args
exporting
Parameter = `HANDLER_NAME`
Argument = Handler_Name.
Please help me. Thanks in advanceHi,
You have a select option, button, table will be displayed(on button click) and a Input fieild right.
This Input field is bound to a context attribtue/noderight, then it should have some value in it. WHat is the cardinality
of this node.
This node should have 1:1 cardianlity as it a input field.

Hello,
I am new to webdynpro. This is my 1st program.I am getting following runtime error:
The following error text was processed in the system NSP : Adapter error in INPUT_FIELD "TRY_SERACH_CARRID" of view "ZWDA_TEST.V_MAIN": Context binding of property VALUE cannot be resolved: Node V_MAIN.1.GET_BOOKING_DATA does not contain any elements
The error occurred on the application server akimol_NSP_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
Method: RAISE_FOR of program CX_WDR_ADAPTER_EXCEPTION======CP
Method: RAISE_BINDING_EXCEPTION of program CL_WDR_VIEW_ELEMENT_ADAPTER===CP
Method: GET_BOUND_ELEMENT of program CL_WDR_VIEW_ELEMENT_ADAPTER===CPThis seems to me a very common error.
Your node GET_BOOKING_DATA does not have any data when the screen is displayed. Because of that input field TRY_SERACH_CARRID value property could nt be resolved.
You could solve this by changing the cardinality of the node to 1..N, this makes at least one element available at runtime or fill the GET_BOOKING_DATA with some value.
Are you following some tutorial ? if you follow it correctly then the problem may be in the test data, you may not have the test data in your system.

Why aren't adapter errors visible in SXMB_MONI?
My client has an integration scenario that updates an Oracle database through a JDBC receiver channel. Occasionally an insert/update statement will fail. The adapter engine logs the Oracle error message, but that error message doesnt show up in SXMB_MONI. SXMB_MONI happily displays the checkered flag. You can only see the adapter error in runtime workbench.
Why arent adapter errors visible in SXMB_MONI?> It seems odd that error messages arent propagated
> from one stack to the other so that we have a
> COMPLETE view of the lifecycle of our messages. The
> left hand doesn't communicate with the right.
You can't propagate an error which occurs in a later point of the pipeline to a previous point.
They error may occurr in the adapter, but when the message gets to the AE, the Integration Engine pipeline is already complete.
But you know, the later point can carry on errors occurred at a earlier point. That is why you can see the Integration Engine errors in the Messsage Monitoring.
It is a matter of culture. SAP consultants, in general, are more confortable with ABAP stack (SXMB_MONI) than with Java Stack (Message Monitoring). But, in this case, the Java tool is more complete.

TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error TNS-00530: Protocol adapter error
Unable to start listener service.
Running Oracle Database 11gr2 on Windows 7.
I just installed Oracle with the "install software only" option.
Already set up the instance, the database, the dictionary views, etc.
Created tsnames.ora, sqlnet.ora and listener.ora as shown below.
Before installing Oracle I followed the instruction on Oracle
documentation to install a Loopback Adapter.
It is set up as the primary adapter as indicated on the
instructions. The name is "gabylan" (previously the computer
name was "P4". I set up the "hosts" file as indicated, the oracle_hostname
variable, etc. as you will see below. I don't know if it's important to "uncomment"
the line on the "hosts" file for the "localhost" entry, I left it
as it was originally.
Services currently in "Started" Status:
OracleServiceorcl
Oracle orcl VSS Writer Service
OracleMTSRecoveryService
OracleOraDb11g_home1ClrAgent
OracleServiceorcl
Below is a summary of the error message and some information
about my system setup to help you diagnose my problem.

Regards
RajuHi Raju,
Looking at the error your DBOutbound.wsdl has [location="eis/MyDBConnection"] although the sample shipped has [location="eis/DB/BPELSamples"]. So, I am guessing you have either modified the sample manually, or you may have rerun the db adapter wizard which could have caused this change. So, you could fix this in one of the following ways:
1. Start with a fresh sample and follow the instructions to the dot
2. Go ahead and define an entry in oc4j-ra.xml for eis/MyDBConnection with the appropriate connection parameters
3. Currently, when the jndi name is not defined in the oc4j-ra.xml, the runtime tries to work with the design time connection information which is captured in the DBOutbound.wsdl. In your case, this doesn't seem to work for either of the following reasons: your runtime connection is different from design time connection, or else the design time connection info is not valid for the runtime assuming it is running on different m/c. I could pinpoint what is wrong if I had access to the DBOutbound.wsdl file.
Couple of other best practices while we are on this issue:
- the location attribute which ties the design time and runtime together follows a convention so that we don't have to make sure that it is unique across all of the various adapters: to help out on this front, we follow the convention of eis/<AdapterAbbrev>/<connectionName>. So, I'd change yours to eis/DB/MyDBConnection. By default the wizard generates locations using this convention although it is hand-editable.
- from another error message below "file:/D:/OraBPELPM/integration/jdev/jdev/myWork/File2Table/DBOutbound.wsdl [" I get the feeling that you are copying the sample elsewhere. Is there a need to do that ? You could just add the jdev project (.jpr) for this sample to any existing jdev workspace and you should be able to deploy from there w/o making any changes. This approach would be preferable and would have helped you from running into the set of issues that you are seeing.
Let me know if the above makes sense.
Cheers,
Shashi -
Erroe of TNS:protocol adapter error

We are getting below error while connecting from presentation services.
But from BI Administrator, we are able to connect properly and view data with the same connection pool.

Please help in this.Looks like the connectivity from your BI Server to your Oracle DB isn't working.
You've not told us about what servers/OS you've got, so it's hard to help really.
This is your error: ORA-12560, and it's quite a non-specific one.
Make sure you can tnsping from your BI Server to the Oracle DB -

Does anyone have any ideas what else I can check. I'm a Unix person, not a Windows person, which is making it even more complicated. If I was on Unix, I'd just blow everything away and start again from scratch, but since I'm not sure how to remove all traces from the registry, etc., I don't want to try that on this machine. There was already one other database created, but it's not goign to be used.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Tarisa.hi,
thanks for the info. the problem, as it turns out, was that I was connected to the db server via a terminal service (Microsoft Management Console), which for some reason caused probelms with TNS. After I connected directly to the machine using VNC, I was able to create the database with no problems. strange but true.
regards,
Tarisa. -
Error message when trying to view/print Crystal reports in B1
I get the following Error message when trying to view/print crystal reports in SAP B1/Crystal Reports Integration Tool for SAP Business One:
" Could not load file or assembly 'Crystal Decisions Windows Forms, version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, Public Key Token=692fbea551e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ????Hi
Common issues for this :
1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s
Hope this solves your issue

Thanks.Hi,
I think you are executing the select statement for schema X and the table is in the schema srnr.
And schema X is not having select privilege on the table 'students' present in schema srnr.
Goto schema srnr.
Execute the following statement:
grant select on students to X;
This will give schema X the privilege to query the table students present in srnr.

Im not sure if the rfc connection to the SAP ERP is functional because this error appears:
Error Details ERROR: program SAPDS not registered
Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host xxxxxxx /
sapgw00
Error Details DETAIL: TP SAPDS not registered
Error Details COMPONENT: SAP-Gateway
Viewing data from tables is working but viewing data from views gives errors above.
Any ideas ?
Best regards,
Robert EberleHi
well that makes sense, I did't see the transport files you mentioned in the Transport Queue in the
ERP system.
But, in KB 1971036 it is explained that the newer transport files should be imported from
OSS Note 1916294 after deleting the functions /BODS/BODS. (see attachment)
Do you think I should import first the transport files from the Admin
directory, then reimport those from note 1916294 or not ?

"TNS: Protocol adapter error" while creating a database
Hi All,
I´m new to Oracle and trying to create a database.
We use Oracle 8.1.7
I´m using the Database Configuration Assistant. The problem is when creating the database I get the error:
TNS-12560 TNS: Protocol adapter error
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carlos.Do you have ORACLE_HOME and/or ORACLE_SID defined in the environment which are different than the settings for the new database that you are trying to create?

Thanks,
Shaik MohiuddinThis error occurs when you try to create a materialized view , but if you run the sql the results are perfectly fine. Well it happend to me also and to fix this I made sure all the coulmns have the same data type which are used in joins or in where clause.
use
where
to_number(col1)=to_number(col2) and to_number(col3)=to_number(col4)
hope this helps..
