Dump when switching to a different variant

Hi all,
I am a freshman for FPM, and currently I have met a issue when using it.
You know I want to switch to a different variant, but when I click the switch button, dump occurs:
Dump Info----
Note
The followin error text was processed in SD7 the systm: Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.
The error occurred on the application server ldai1sd7_SD7_89 and in the work process. 9

It ever worked fine before, and I have never changed my codes these days. Moreover, in some other development system
with old versions, the same codes can also work without any dump.
Has anyone met similar problems? I will appreciate your kindly help for any suggestions on this issue.
Thanks.

Hi Arvind,
Thank you for your reply.
In fact my codes also works in the other system, but just in the current system, the dump occurs suddenly these days.
It ever worked normally before.
Here is the debugging information:

  • Facetime Video stops when switching to a different space / desktop

Using facetime, if i switch to a different desktop the video pauses.  How do I stop that?  Strangely, I don't have the option in the dock to "Assign to all desktops" like I do for pretty much every other app.  This disappearing seems to have happened in Mountain Lion according to what a friend sees on his machine.  Anybody have any ideas or is this a bug?

Perhaps you have too many windows open. When you are browsing, a lot of desktop memory is used to switch between windows and links, and the toolbar memory. If you are done on the web, close the window. Also try the yellow button to minimise the window to the dock.Open the windows on your screen by using the dock icon. I'm new to Tiger, but have noticed that on my G3, it seems to take a moment to park the window, before opening the next when clicked to activate.Stickies got under my skin on OS 9, so I kept them turned off. Check your preferences. Perhaps they may be set to pop up periodically, or daily if you have worked past midnight. For the Finder window, If you have first opened the finder and left the window open, remember that the Mac Finder operates the desktop. Because of the 'hot zone' around your curser, you may be clicking on the hairline of desktop around the window, actvating the desktop, will give priority to the finder window, and the stickie window. If your Mac is new, call apple (during the workday ). Your Mac has a full year of Apple care included.

  • Firefox should allow users to maintain their zoom setting when switching to a different page, instead of going back to default every time.

Page text appears very small on laptop while utilizing full resolution on a dell XPS laptop. Zoomed-in a notch or two it looks good. Readable without squinting. But browse to a different page, and its tiny all over again. Firefox, being the best browser on the web, should think about allowing users to maintain their zoom value when going to a different page, instead of going back to default. Just an idea... I know there's alot of laptops out there and if it's hard for me to read with good eyes, I'm sure it's hard for others.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965
Or the NoSquint extension: <br />

  • Slow/unpredictable response when switching between editing different TextFlows

    Hi All,
Our (AIR) app requires multiple textFlow objects contained in groups over the app desktop. The user should be able to begin editing any one of these by clicking on the text, then beginning editing. I have been doing this by switching an EditManager in and out based on mouse click events, but I notice there is some delay that appears arbitrary after the mouse click, before editing is possible. The MXML and AS3 code below gives an example. You have a desktop with two text elements. When you mouse over one and click on the text, it will usually enter edit mode (with an I-bar cursor) pretty quickly. But when you click on the second text group the I-bar (and edit functionality) often doesn’t appear until you mouse out and mouse in again. On other occasions the I-bar will appear after just moving the cursor about in the group a bit. Clicking on the desktop and then on the text elements gives similar behaviour. Either way, we really need to get more responsive click to editing!
From tracking through it seems that there is some hidden sequence of events between assigning the interactionManager to the textFlow, and the events being captured and handled by the ContainerController / EditManager. Is there some way I can know this has occurred, or force it to happen immediately?
    Thanks!
    Darryl

  • Photos in Develop module look different when switching to library module

Hello everyone this is my first post on adobe.  I ran into a problem today for the first time using lightroom 5.  I recently purchased lightroom 5 about 2 weeks ago and have been in love using it.  I have ran into 0 problems until today.  I uploaded some new photos and was going through them under the develop module editing the photos and what not.  When I am done editing I usually go to the library module and export them.
Today I tried to do that exact thing and ran into this issue:  the colors in the photo are changing ever so slightly when I switch to the library module and are not exporting exactly as I edited them in the develop module.
I have tried changing the contrast/clarity to see if it would remain when switching and it does.  But for some reason the yellow on the flower in the picture becomes less vibrant when seen/exported from library module.  It is very frustrating because I spend alot of time editing the photo in a develop module and every transfers but the colors it seems.  It becomes more dull and less vibrant.
It is not the photo itself.  I think it is something wrong with my lightroom?  I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same issue keeps happening.

Just to clarify. When you compare the exported image to the original inside LR do they look the same when viewed together in the Library module, and how about when both are viewed in the Develop module? Are you using a wide gamut monitor and do you also use a hardware monitor calibrator? All of these things affect how images looks in LR and some are fixable, but others are not as Web Weaver posted.
There is also another issue that can cause the Library module view and exported images to look different than they do in the Develop module:
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/afm8rbh6tnc31
The solution is to view the image at 1:1 (100%) view size. You can also use more conservative Sharpening settings (i.e. lower) and more aggressive Luminance Noise Reduction settings (i.e. higher), which will significantly decrease the view difference.

  • When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different calendar on iPad creates a duplicate in Google. Ideas?

When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different Google sub-calendar using iPad creates a duplicate in Google.
Using Google account with the Exchange setup on an iPad mini. iOS up to date. I have a secondary calendar in my Google account for some appointments, and when I create the event on the iPad and it defaults to my main Google calendar, changing the event to the secondary calendar caused the following:
    1) at first, the event totally disappeared from my iPad. Scary! Reappeared when I went into Gcal on the web, opened the event to edit, and re-saved. Phew.
    2) Failing to re-create error #1, I switched a new event from primary to secondary calendar, and it then appears correct on iPad, but is duplicated on the web. The duplicate remains even after deleting the changed event on iPad, refreshing Gcal, etc.
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem or has discovered a workaround or fix.

When you open the Calendar app, tap the button at the top-left corner (Calendars).  That should reveal all the calendars you have available, and you can select/ un-select any or all of them.
If you don't see your 2nd GMail calendar listed, go into Settings/ Mail/ (account name) and make sure you've turned the calendar ON for this account.

  • After Effects CC not saving ram preview when switching to different tab.

Okay so just recently upgraded to CC and have been experiencing some ram preview problems.
What happens is I will do a ram preview, watch it, then switch to a different window (Chrome, word, etc)
and when I go back to AE and do a ram preview it does it all over again even though i haven't changed anything in the comp.
I dont believe this was a problem in CS5.
Any help on what settings i should check or if its a coding problem would be appreciated.
    Some specs:
    16gb ddr3 ram
    AMD FX-6300
    Radeon R7 250
Everything Program/Cache is on SSD and the project file/video files are on Ext HDD

Okay it's kind of fixed. (it isnt deleting it like it used too)
i cleared my cache which was about 30gb, but I still had about 20gb of free space when i cleared it
but Now I am getting some crashes and other stuff (colored bars, i already read thats getting fixed though)
Do you think lowering the CPUs used to 3 will help?
Ill update if it does it again when the cache is getting close to full

  • Graphic distortion when switching between external and built-in display (rMBP)

Recently (within the past two weeks or so) I've noticed a strange issue when switching between my external display (Thunderbolt) and my built-in display on my 15" rMBP. The following issue seems to be specific to Photoshop CS6.
Typically, I'll have a PS document open on my external display and I'll wind up taking my to another location. If I close the PS document while on my built-in and then re-open it, I get all kinds of distortion and pixellation. Closing out PS and reopining, restarting, logging on/off; none of it seems to work. It seems like the issue is with the PSD itself, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Any ideas? Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/iCipSc7.jpg

Do you have intel gpy as well as other graphic card?  You may be viewing document on different gpu's.  PS does not like multiple gpu's.

  • [SOLVED] screen brightness too low when switching tty

I have autologin enabled in LightDM, so when I boot I am taken to my MATE desktop automatically. This happens in the default tty (tty1).
Sometimes I want to switch to a different virtual terminal (e.g., by pressing Control+Alt+F2) without ending my session in tty1. However, most of the time when I do this I find that the brightness in the new tty (e.g., tty2) is so low that I can hardly see the login prompt. When I switch back to tty1 the brightness in the X session is fine. Switching back to tty2 I see that it is still dim. Hitting either the brightness-up or the brightness-down (!?) key on the laptop causes the brightness in tty2 to jump to normal.
Does anyone know how to fix this so that when I switch to a different tty the brightness is at a reasonable level right away? I am on a Lenovo Thinkpad T520 (no Nvidia, just integrated Intel graphics) in case it matters.

As an experiment, I logged in to non-graphic mode in tty1 (by adding "systemd.unit=multi-user.target" to grub2's kernel line), then tried switching ttys. No brightness problems!
As another experiment, I allowed regular boot to my desktop in tty1 (LightDM -> MATE autologin) but then got out of graphical mode by opening a terminal emulator and typing "sudo systemctl isolate multi-user.target". Once I had a cli in tty1 I then tried switching ttys. Again, no brightness problems.
I can conclude that when switching tty's, the new tty is too dim only if I have a graphical session running in tty1. Therefore, I don't think this is a kernel problem. Seems that something related to lightDM or X or MATE running in tty1 is causing the problem.

  • IPhone 4 OS 7.1.2 (11D257) display normal when switching on, turns to very high contrast primary colours only, no tonal graduation. Wifi no longer works.

iPhone 4 OS 7.1.2 (11D257) display normal when switching on, turns to very high contrast with bright primary colours only, no tonal graduation.Initially problem arose every time I switched the Camera on, but has worsened such that any application can cause it. In Camera, after a short time screen goes black. Also,  Wifi no longer works.

    You're welcome
