I have tried Out-File and
Export-CSV. All I get is a zero byte file.

I haven't updated that tool in a while, it may be out of date, or it may be that you have no dupe drivers. :^(

How to output a file showing visible time code from the source tape

Can someone tell me which settings to use to output a file that has a visible time code readout from the source tape. I shot an interview and now I want to make a video file for a transcriber so they can include the time code reference numbers from the source video on the written transcript. Also, does the file need to be output from the timeline, or can this be done directly from a clip in the project.

Hi,
You could try maybe selecting all your clips on the timeline and drag the "timecode" video effect onto it ( type the word timecode at the top of effect panel on left to find it fast )...
Then you can change it from smpte if you want -----to source or media ...something like that...or to 'generate'...use what you like best..
you can also change the codes position in the clip...

but it seems does not have good solution there. Can anybody give a hand?

Please check the links below to know about conversion agent tool,it is a third party tool which helps to convert the PDF,word doc,HL7 doc......etc into xml format.
This s/w u have to buy from SAP and do the convertion in the convertion agent tool and deploy it in the xi server.

How to output various file types from a stored procedure

Good morning, I would like to output to spreadsheet files like microsoft Excel, Lotus 123 or to a comma delimited text file from stored procedures. We run Oracle 8i and this report is accessed from an intranet site using stored procedures and the pl/sql web toolkit. The results would be more usefull in a spreadsheet format than web page(s). Can anyone give me a hint as to which process to follow to get the output. Thanks very much, Francois

I've some data stored in a database, they are PDFs files data.
How can I include them in a report
For example
I've a Table
MyTABLE with 2 Cols (Name STRING, data byte[]) (in fact it's a .NET/DataSet)
I would like to display the content of my table in a CR
I can include a static PDF in my report, but not a variable one.
Can anyone Help Me ?

Something I don't understand here. PDF vs. .NET Dataset.
If the data is in a .NET Dataset; (in fact it's a .NET/DataSet)
Then all you should need to do is;
crReportDocument.Database.Tables(0).SetDataSource(dataSet.Tables("NAME_OF_TABLE"))
or
crReportDocument.SetDataSource(dataSet)
or
crReportDocument.SetDataSource(dataSet.Tables(0))
How the dataset is created or what is behind the dataset should not be of any consequence. To ensure you get the fresh data, either don't enable the "Saved Data" option, or use .Refresh in your code.

Anyone know how to output an XML file from ABAP to a non sapgui location?

I have a program that creates XML and then outputs a file via CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_download. But now I want to execute the program in background mode and therefore I need to be able to output that XML to a NON sapgui file location. Current code creates the XML to an internal table which is binary then the gui_download method converts that to output XML. . Does anyone know how I can change the code to either a) output the XML to an internal table which can be output via, say, a TRANSFER command..or, b) output the created binary table of XML to a NON sapgui file location?
Excerpts from current code are as follows:
first the XML is created (to the binary file)
      Creating a ixml factory
l_ixml = cl_ixml=>create( ).
      Creating the dom object model
l_document = l_ixml->create_document( ).
      Fill root node with value XML
l_element_xml = l_document->create_simple_element(
              name = 'XML'
              parent = l_document ).
      Create tag 'HEADER' as child of 'XML'
l_element_header = l_document->create_simple_element(
              name = 'HEADER'
              parent = l_element_xml ).
header information about the file and general data about the fleet follows
l_value = c_fleet_import.
l_element_dummy = l_document->create_simple_element(
            name = 'TYPE'
            value = l_value
            parent = l_element_header ).
etc.......
then the xml is connected to the stream factory and rendered
Creating a stream factory
l_streamfactory = l_ixml->create_stream_factory( ).

as implied by the comments the method above will successfully output the XML file to the g:drive but will not output to /TRICK/ location, which is where I need it to go in a background mode run.

How to read .xml file from embedded .swf(flash output) in captivate

I have been trying to read .xml file from the .swf (Flash output) that is embedded within the captivate file but no luck yet . Please if anyone got any clue on how get this thing done using Action script 3.0 then let me know. I am using Adobe Captivate 5.5 at present and Flash CS 5.5.
I am well aware about how to read .xml file through action script 3.0 in flash but when insert the same flash in captivate and publish nothing comes in captivate output. I would higly appreciate if anyone could help me out with that.

This information initial value is (maybe) stored in Windows Register (register.exe) at Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\Filetransfer -> PathDownload, you can read it thru class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES method GET_UPLOAD_DOWNLOAD_PATH and update it thru method REGISTRY_SET_VALUE. (Else there may be some parameter ID to force data, but I'm no longer sure)

The simpliest way is to take your data and write it to a Comma Dilimeted File which Excel can read without any problems or user intervention. You would use an ObjectOutputStream. Hope this helps.

If you just want to do file input/output in LabWindows/CVI, I would take a look at the Formatting and I/O CVI library or the ANSI File I/O functions. For example, if you just want to write an array of data to a file, I would look at the ArrayToFile function or the fwrite/fputs/fprintf ANSI C functions included in stdio.h. The ANSI C functions will also work in Visual Studio. More information on the LabWindows/CVI File I/O functions can be found in CVI help, and more information on ANSI C functions can be found in CVI Help and online at various websites.
Maybe you could further clarify what problems you are having and what kind of data you want to write to a file.
