Dynamic created component, problem to set position

I want to create in dynamic way label component and put it on GridPanel in given position. How can I set this position(x,y) to created component?

I created a web dynpro component named ZWDR_TEST and add it into the wd component ZTEST.

MethodnotFound Exception for dynamically created component(menuItem)

I have created menuItem component and tried to create Action Listener object and setting it to the component in the backing bean.
but it is throwing methodnot found exception.

Dynamically created textfields problem

Hi people,
I have a strange problem here: I want to create textfields
dynamically that are just big enough to hold the text to display.
The textfields use a font from the library. I get the metrics of
the text with TextFormat.getTextExtent(), it seems to work ok.
However, the last letters of the text are missing in the textfield
after assigning the text, when the text needs more than 1 line. The
textfield is sized for 2 lines, but the 2nd line is just empty. I
applied wordWrap, but the text doesn't show at the 2nd line. This
seems to be connected to the font that is used: I tested about a
dozen different types, and only 1 of them displays always the full
text, with all other fonts, the last 6 or so letters are missing.
The text property of the textfields holds the complete text; where
are the last letters?
So, are there any known issues with textfields created
dynamically? Or any trick to display all of the text? I'd like to
use a monospaced font, but all I have tested have this strange
problem.

Yep, the reason is I never tried that. :)
No... I'm just about to give it a try, but I want to draw a
fancy border around the textfield (other than the border that comes
with the textfield), so I guess I'll need the metrics info anyway.
Another thing is that I want the width to be not more than 150,
gotta check if that's possible with auto-size. Have to try that
now... thx for the input!

Dynamically create component

Same project as my last post but figured the context is different enough to merit a new thread.
I have a flex application called app.mxml and a component called dummy.mxml, the component consists of a text area and a button.
The application consists of 5 textInputs and a Canvas.
Is it possible that when the user types something into one of these text fields that there is an instance of dummy created within the canvas and the text area within dummy contains the text within the input field?

I'll try and explain it a little better,
in my main application I have a panel that contains 5 empty textInput boxes, these are all blank, next to the panel I have a canvas, this has nothing in it at all at this point.
there is also a component (dummyComponent.mxml) in the application that consits of a textArea and a radio button.
this component is not used within the application prior to runtime.
Runtime -->
user enters the text "testing 123" into the first textInput box. ad this point an instance of dummyComponent is created within the canvas and the contents of its text area mimic that of the input box.
The same effect could be achieved by having 5 textAreas within the canvs that each bind to the 5 textInputs, but i don't want these textAreas to exist unless they are needed.

Problem with embeding the same view in dynamically created view container

              I am getiing a dump when i try to embed the same view inside the dynamically created view container of
dynamically created tabs of a tabstrip
The requirement go like this, i have 2 views in which i have have to embed the 2nd view to view1 where i have an empty
tabstrip without tabs. During runtime i create tabs as well as view containers accordingly and then try to embed view2 in tabs.
I have put the below mentioned code in HANDLEIN,

However onaction tab select i change the embeding position( 'FILE_PERS_EDIT/view container name of different tab') of the view2 an try to embed view2 in a different tab.
At this point i get a dump stating View2 already present in the window 'FILE_PERSISTENCE_WND' of component.
I think, the view2 embediing has to be removed before i add the view2 in a different tab
Kindly let me know how to remove view2 embedding from tab1 before i add a view2 to a different tab or is there any other
means to handle this problem?

How to set the cardinality property as 1..n for a dynamically created node

    I am creating Dropdown by index UI element and the
context atrributes dynamically.To bind multiple data to a dropdown
the cardinality property of the node should be 0..n or 1..n,
But i could not set the property of the dynamically created context node to 0..n ...
can any body suggest me..

you are getting the exception because of cardinality property.
i.e   true,false and
you are trying to add morethan one element.
so,if you want to add morethan one than one element you have to set the cardinality property to true,true (or) false,true.
In your code do the following modification for changing the cardinality.
For 0..n -->false,true
      1..n-->true,true

AutoScrolling of PanelLayout and setting Location of dynamically created controls

Hi, I have a question related to setting Location of dynamically created controls when my PanelLayout is scrolled down or up.
So basically I have wrote a code that lets me drag on control over other other and replace their's locations.
So I wanted to add possibility for user to dynamically add new controls (every new control is suppose to be 200px below previous) - everything is fine as long as I add them from upper section of my LayoutPanel (without scrolling) but when I try to add
them while I'm half dawn scrolled they are placed based on CURRENT left upper corner which is NOT a upper left corner of LayoutPanel therfore they are placed with wrong padding based on current scrolled position.
So my question is how can I avoid it and always add new controls based on LayoutPanel upper left corner? (I have already tried disabling AutoScroll while adding new control and enabling it back after adding - it works but I want to find PROPER way because
I'm sure there must be some kind of solution to it)

Problem in setting desired position for JPanel in JScrollPane!!!

Dear Friends,
I am having problem to set desired Scrollable(JScrollPane) JPanel position. I have a JPanel in a JFrame which is scrolable with lot of objects. It automatically displays on the top position inside JScrollPane, I want to set scroll position on the middle for the panel.
I went through the search for the same in this forum, i found some posts related to this but they are linked with JTextArea(setCaretPosition). With JPanel i can't set caret position.
Could anyone guide me how to set the scroll position on middle.

However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.

You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

I was trying to create group UI element dynamically in Webdynpro ABAP. I was getting Error :Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.

Try to debug and find what line the error occurs and return it to us.
If the error occurs in
CALL METHOD view->get_root_element
   receiving
     root_view_element = object.
or in
lr_container ?= object.
you will need to check content of object.

Problem with dynamically created columnchart (FB 4 and 4.5)

I have an application (written in FB4 but I've imported to FB4.5 with no difference in behaviour) which dynamically creates cartesian charts. The total column values should be the same but the user can group them according to different fields. This works fine except for one of the possible grouping options. When that is used, I can see that all the data is present in the dataprovider, but one of the groups is just not shown - or rather when you hover over the column it shows "0" as the value for that group.
This is the code I run when the HTTP query comes back:

As I said everything appears to be correct - the data provider has the data for all the groups but just 1 of them is not displayed. The legend also shows the name of the missing group. I really cannot figure out what is going on. Can anyone suggest my next line of investigation please?

Setting a Filter on a dynamically created Table

Hi All,
I am currently working on a Database to automatize some process. Quick explanation:
The User can import a CSV (Text) File via a DialogBox, which gets imported into a Table. After this, the content has to be filtered, setting conditions on 4 different rows. The new Table gets exported into a new CSV (It has to be CSV, since it later gets imported
into SAP)
I am having some trouble with filters though:
How can I set a Filter on a dynamically created Table (using VBA)?
Best case would be to save the filter into my Import spec, but Access doesn't seem to have this option (?)
Can somebody help?

I never use the Import functionality, nor DoCmd.TransferText.
To import data from a csv-file I made my own Import functionality. In fact it is just reading an external file, line by line, and each line field by field using the field separator. In my opinion that is far more versatile than the standard functionality.
But you can use the standard functionality of Access to import a csv-file into a table.
Having the data in a table, you can generate the appropriate query for the output in a VBA procedure:
sql_string = "SELECT Field1, Field2, ... FROM MyTable WHERE Field1 = ... AND Field2 = ... ORDER BY Field3"
and make a recordset of it:
Set cur_set = CurrentDb(sql_string)
The output csv-file is then filled by opening a file for Write, loop through all the records, concatenate for each record all the wanted fields using the field separator, and write the result line to the csv-file.
Most important is to understand this process. After that it should be possible to build it. And if you have further questions, just ask.

Finding Component on Dynamically Created UI

I am having a hard time regarding finding a particular component in my managed bean if your UI is dynamically created (say using an iterator..) especially
if you need that component during PPR.
As of the moment, I am doing this but its really ugly and is bound to be broken if I add another layout.
