Dynamic display coloumn by Button Click

Hi All,
In my View i had a group  Element ,there i created 5 UI elements like inputfields,textview,Linktoaction ..
in the next row i had a Button "Add more".
when i click that button i need to display the above 5 fields in a colounm.
how can i get that coloumn?
please provide any links/steps..
Thanks,
Raju.

Hi,
First create a node which has an attribute of type wdui_visibility.
To each of the elements Visible property in the layout bind this node.
In your onaction<button> method write the code
call method lo_nd_visibility->set_attribute
    exporting
      value  = '02'
      name   = 'VISIBLE'
'02' sets things visible, while '01' makes it invisible.
Rewards if Helpful.

Prosenjit.

  • Display rows when button clicked

    Hi
    I have a few text fields in the jsp .
    After them, i have search button .
    When i click it, list of rows should be displayed
    underneath the search button in the same jsp/page .
    Any idea how can i do it?
    thanks
    chandra

    Sure, it can be done.
    Just have one file with your form and the jsp code to display results. Put the jsp code in a conditional loop (if submit == null). What this would do is that if submit is null, only the form will be displayed, else the form will be displayed and the results of the search will be displayed.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to diplay table row dynamically  by button click

    Hi All,
    I had a table with  with visible row count '3',   i want to display dynamic row  by a button click, mean a 4 th row need to  be added to the table with same like  row '3'.
    please help me ..
    Thanks,
    Raj.

    Hi Raju,
    while click the Add Button,
    Get the all the Rows from the Table  and Put it in to one internal table . after that append the one empty record to that internal table. then again bind to that node.
    Like following code.
      DATA lo_nd_sales TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_el_sales TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
      DATA ls_sales TYPE wd_this->element_sales.
      DATA lt_sales TYPE wd_this->elements_sales.
    navigate from <CONTEXT> to <SALES> via lead selection
      lo_nd_sales = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_sales ).
    get element via lead selection
      lo_el_sales = lo_nd_sales->get_element(  ).
      CALL METHOD lo_nd_sales->get_static_attributes_table
    EXPORTING
       from   = 1
       to     = 2147483647
        IMPORTING
          table  = lt_sales
      IF lt_sales IS NOT INITIAL.
        CLEAR ls_sales.
        APPEND ls_sales TO lt_sales.
        lo_nd_sales->bind_table( lt_sales ).
      ENDIF.

  • How to add screen elements at run time on button click in Web Dynpro abap?

    Hello All,
    I have a requirement wherein the user wants to add the textbox dynamically at runtime on button click action. My questions is, Is it feasible to dynamically add screen elements at runtime? If yes, how?
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi Ajinkya,
    This is absolutely possible! Adding view elements at runtime is called "dynamic programming". There are a lot of good resources and tutorials on SCN if you do a search. To start you off, here is an excellent series by Thomas Szücs:
    Dynamic Programming in Web Dynpro ABAP - Introduction and Part I: Understanding UI Elements
    Dynamic Programming in Web Dynpro ABAP - Part II: Handling ViewElements
    Dynamic Programming in Web Dynpro ABAP - Part III: Aggregations and DDIC-Binding of ViewElements
    Another option that avoids dynamic programming is to create the view element at design time but bind its visible property to a context attribute of type WDUI_VISIBILITY. You could initially set its visibility to "none" until the user clicks the button, then you could change its visibility to "visible".
    Cheers,
    Amy

  • Prob in displaying the dynamically created ui elements on click of a button

    hi all
    i created 1 inputfield, 2 buttons & i wrote the following code in wddomodifyview() of view.

    Hi Vila,
    Issue here is you are trying to create Input field with already used id "inf1" in first line of code
    IWDInputField inf1=(IWDInputField)view.createElement(IWDInputField.class,"inf1");
    Please change it to
    IWDInputField inf1=(IWDInputField)view.createElement(IWDInputField.class,"inf2");
    and correspondingly line
    tc.addChild(inf2);
    Your code will work.
    Please note that you should follow....following code style in wdDoModifyview
    if(firstTime)
    //dynamic view elements creation

  • CRM5.2 UI-Call a dynamic URL on button click

    Hi all,
               My requirement is to call a dynamic url on the click of a button in the overview page. I have added a custom button in  the method  IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS , and the related code in do_handle_event.I have created a custom method for the button event. I have enhanced a custom controller and created an attribute.In the custom method created for the button event, I have written the code for retrieving the parameters to be passed to the url.
    In the layout of the view associated with the display view , I have written the following code for calling the URL in a new window.
    <%
    DATA: lr_cuco_EMA TYPE REF TO ZL_BP_CONT_BPCONT_IMPL,
          lv_url TYPE string,
          lv_url1 type string,
          lv_count type i.
      lr_cuco_EMA ?= controller->get_custom_controller( 'ZBP_CONT/BPCONT' ).
      check lr_cuco_EMA is bound.
      if lr_cuco_EMA->gv_VALUE is not initial.
      if lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT IS NOT INITIAL.
      clear lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT.
      endif.
      LV_URL = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_VALUE.
      Concatenate 'http:/' LV_URL  into LV_URL1.
      Concatenate '"http:/' LV_URL '"' into LV_URL.
        lv_count = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT mod '2'.
        if lv_count Ne 0.
      lv_url = lv_url1.
    endif.
      %>
         <scrpt language="Javascript">
            window.open(<%= lv_url%>).focus();
          </script>
       <%
             lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT + 1.
             clear lr_cuco_EMA->gv_value.
             clear lv_count.
             clear lv_url.
             clear lv_url1.
             ENDIF.
    %>
    But here my URl is getting called alternate times.If I do not write the code  by using the variable GV_COUNT the url is getting called only the first time of the button click  and to call the URL again you need to navigate back to the search page and again back to the overview page and click on the button.
    Can anyone help me regarding this? I want the URL to be called in a new page on every button click.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Chandana

    Hi Nisha,
    The crux of your issue here is that you want to call the event triggered with onClick before calling the event triggered on onClientClick. This can be achieved by the following code in the function called on the onClientClick.
    function fn_button()
               htmlbSL(this,2,'b_row_selection:onInputProcessing()');
               window.open("new_page",target="BLANK");
    Here, fn_button is the javascript function called on button click, and b_row_selection is the event triggered on the onClick event of row selection.
    Try this out and let us know if it works for you.

    Saurabh

    Put the button click into an action listener and build the new frame there. The code I have below isn't exactly what you're doing (it's amazingly oversimplified), but it's probably similar enough to get your wheels turning in the right direction.
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    public class sample
         public static void main(String[] args)
              JFrame frame = new JFrame("Sample");
              frame.setSize(400,400);
              Container content = frame.getContentPane();
              content.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
              frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
              final JTextField text = new JTextField(10);
              content.add(text);
              JButton button = new JButton("Send");
              content.add(button);
              frame.setVisible(true);
              button.addActionListener(new ActionListener()
                   public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent ae)
                        JFrame myframe = new JFrame("Results");
                        myframe.setSize(200,200);
                        Container mycontent = myframe.getContentPane();
                        mycontent.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
                        String mytext = text.getText();
                        JLabel label = new JLabel();
                        label.setText(String.valueOf(mytext));
                        mycontent.add(label);
                        myframe.setVisible(true);
    }

  • How can I display a new scene in JavaFX 2.2? For example after button click

    how to display new scene after button click in the main window, I want the main window and the new scene are in one stage. thx

    You can change the scene by calling stage.setScene(new Scene(newContentParent));
    I don't think you are quite asking for a complete scene change though as you "want the main window and the scene in one stage". The main window is a stage (as Stage extends Window). And a given stage can only contain one scene at a time (though you can swap it out by calling setScene as described earlier).
    What I think you are really asking for how can you replace some content part of the active Scene on the Stage. To do that you can set a layout manager like a HBox or a BorderPane as the root of your scene, then change out the content of the layout manager. For example:
    final BorderPane layout = new BorderPane();
    layout.setCenter(new Label("Dogbert");
    final Button nav = new Button("Next");
    layout.setLeft(nav);
    nav.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
      @Override public void handle(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
        layout.setCenter(new Label("Dilbert"));
    });In the above short sample code, if you wanted to change the scene rather than the a pane, then you would call stage.setScene rather than layout.setCenter.
    There is a complete executable example with multiple content panes and some styling here:

  • Creating a pop up window on button click?

    Hi
    How would I create a pop up modal window when a user clicks on a print button within an interactive report. This window would then display a message with a confirm or cancel button. If they click on confirm the page prints out and if they click cancel it takes the user back to the report
    Is this possible? if so how is this achieved?
    Many Thanks

    The confirm dialog is a native dialog in the browser. It will display a message and it has an ok and cancel button. Running it in javascript will prompt the user with the dialog, and the return value will be true or false depending on the button clicked.
    You don't need any extra page whatsoever.
    var r=confirm("Press a button");
    if (r==true)
    x="You pressed OK!";
    else
    x="You pressed Cancel!";
    }This would prompt you with a small dialog, asking "Press a button.". Clicking Ok or Cancel will return true or false to variable r, which in this code is then tested.
    You could shorten it up to
    if(confirm("Do you want to print?")){
       //execute print code
    };Alternatively, if you are on version 4.0 or higher you can use a dynamic action for this. Set the action to fire on the click of a button, and as a true action you can choose the confirm action, which then lets you display a text.

  • Open a report from button click/javascript

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if there is a way to call a report from a button click? Or through javascript? I set the report to Display Results > Link - within the dashboard and then did a view source on it and found the function that calls the report from the hyperlink.
    This is the code:
    return DashboardReportLink('saw.dll?PortalGo&amp;_scid=v-x8QJloqTY&amp;PortalPath=/shared/Plan\x2520Setup\x2520Audit\x2520Tool\x2520/_portal/Plan\x2520Setup\x2520Audit&amp;Page=Historical&amp;NavFromViewID=d\x253adashboard\x257ep\x253acp4tq3p9brn77o6o\x257er\x253a8a2g9nltmkrtra9n&amp;Path=/shared/Plan\x2520Setup\x2520Audit\x2520Tool\x2520/Archive\x2520Reporting/Run\x2520Historical\x2520Report&amp;Action=PromptStart&amp;Options=frdc', 'd:dashboard~p:cp4tq3p9brn77o6o~r:8a2g9nltmkrtra9n','Dashboard&amp;PortalPath=/shared/Plan\x2520Setup\x2520Audit\x2520Tool\x2520/_portal/Plan\x2520Setup\x2520Audit&amp;Page=Historical', false)
    I added this function to the end of my javascript but when i click the button it just opens a blank page with
    http://la820119:9704/analytics/saw.dll?PortalGo
    as the url.
    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi,
    So i have been trying out a few things and the following url works to open the default view of the request:
    window.location='saw.dll?Go&Path=/shared/Plan Setup Audit Tool /Archive Reporting/Run Historical Report&Options=dfr';
    I just replaced 'Dashboard' in the code provided with the 'Go' and it started to work :)
    What i need to do though is have this work for the session variables set up on the dashboard. I have 7 prompts which a user can use to filter a request. Each is assigned to a session variable that is used to call a stored procedure. Originally i thought that by setting the variables and then calling the report from the url that the session variable values i set would be used in the request. What seems to be happening is that the variables get set and then, on calling the url, they are reset to the defaults and the report is run.
    Any help in solving this would be very much appreciated
