Dynamic H.245 flows

I'm in the midst of creating a QoS policy for a customer and I'm struggling with classifying traffic--specifically H.245 and the dynamic tcp ports it uses. I can recognize the audio and video utilizing a protocol match on rtp, however it doesn't appear as though there is a similar solution to my H.245 issue. Is there a way to recognize dynamic H.245 flows using a match protocol, etc? I'd much prefer a specific match rather than an access-class matching a range of ports between 1024 and 65535! Any help would certainly be appreciated.

If you configure fast-start (H245 tunelling) at the endpoint sides (gateways, IP phones...), then the H245 traffic will be "tunelled" inside the call signalling (H225) and thus pass through the tcp/1720 port.
All the H323 devices must support fast-start (this feature was implemented in H323 v2, long time ego).

  • How to make my dynamic form pages flow correctly?

I have created a dynamic form which has multiple questions with expandable text fields that will take multiple pages once completed.  I do not know how to make the form flow correctly past the first page.  I can attach the form if I knew how to do that.

Thank you Paul.  Your editing assistance was greatly appreciated. I think I now understand that there should be only one page subform that is flowed, regardless of how many text box objects I have in my questionnaire. This did the trick.

  • Dynamically modify Task Flow at runtime

I have a use case where I need to dynamically modify a task flow at runtime. In my use case, for all task flows I need to add a router that can navigate to any view activity on the flow. The router will need to have control flows from the router to each view activity and a case for each.
    What I've Tried
I've written a test app that uses MDS to modify a single task flow. This works. I did it by using JDev in customization mode, adding the router and stuff to the flow manually, then running the app. This does exactly what I need it to do. The problem is, I need to do this dynamically at runtime. I'll need to have a process that looks at the task flow and generates the MDS metadata that will insert the router (and other stuff) at runtime. I'm not sure how to do this.
    What I'd like to do
Ideally, I'd like to do this programmatically (not using MDS) by overriding the controller that returns task flow objects. I may be off the mark here, but I imagine that at runtime the task flow xml is represented by a java object. I also imagine that the java object gets returned by some controller based on the name (and maybe type) of the data requested. If I could override this controller to modify the task flow object before it gets returned, that would be ideal.
I've found some links from others looking to do something similar to what I'm attempting here. These links are over a year old, so I imagine that some progress has been made on this.

[ER] Add a way to decorate the current PageFlow
Re: To Simon Lessard - Usecase required for ER request
Thanks in advance for your help!!
    Cheers,
    Mike

I have three usecases where I need this ability.
    - breadcrumbs - this should keep a historical trail of the pages the user has visited. clicking on a breadcrumb should take the user back to the page and remove the remainder of the trail.
    - favorites - this is essentially bookmarking within the app. the user should be able to add a page as a favorite the navigate back to it by clicking the link in the favorites drop down.
    - recent items - this is similar to breadcrumbs, but I imagine we will want it to persist across sessions for the user.
We are using bounded task flows and page fragments. All of these features will need the ability to navigate to any view on a flow (not just the default view). I can navigate to a flow just fine. We have implemented our own version of the XMLMenuModel and are using a dynamic region for navigation. To navigate, we just replace the task flow ID on the dynamic region with the target task flow ID then the region refreshes. This part work just fine. The part that I am working on is how to navigate to a view on the flow. I'm managing state by passing parameters between flows and pages. That part is working ok too. It's just the navigation piece that is giving me grief.
The little MDS prototype that I did looks promising, but I would need to figure some stuff out. The customization would need to apply to all users and all task flows. I'm not sure how to do that. Also, it would need to be dynamic. The MDS metadata that is responsible for the customization would be different for each task flow and would need to be generated at runtime. I can figure out how to generate the metadata at runtime based on the task flow, but I don't know where the hooks are in the MDS framework where I could put this logic. It would need to execute before the MDS framework tries to merge the base doc (the task flow) with the customization doc that I generate.
    Thanks!!

  • Dynamic Forms and Flowing subforms -- Need help/Advice

    Hello All -
I am creating a form for instructors at our college to complete. It has 3 pages, some static text, some required drop-down boxes, and three "comment" type areas which I would like to create so that they "flow" and display the entire contents when printed.
I've read everything I could find so far, but I think I am missing something quite basic.
I've created master pages, with a content subform on each one. I've placed all my content into subforms under that main content subform, named and ordered them the way they need to be. Most of it should appear as positioned. Only where there is one of the comment sections do I want/need the "flow content" option.
I tried following the directions I found in another thread. If I set the subform with the comment area to flow, then I never get the page break option (and it is needed) - it's always grayed out. When I try to set the underlying subform on the page to 'flow content', ALL of the content from all three pages ends up on one page, everything on top of each other.
    What am I doing wrong?
Can anyone give me some tips as to where at least to start looking for what I've not done or done wrong?
Thanks in advance for any information -- it will be soooo appreciated!
    Lauren

    Hi Lauren,
You only need one Master page, and there's no need to put anything on it unless you want a header/footer that repeats on each page.
If you want to have things flow from page to page, create one body page object, and set its content type to Flowed (the body page is itself a subform). In it you put subforms with text, fields, and so on in them. Since your form will spill from page to page based on how much text the instructors type into the expandable comments fields, break up the forms content into sections (subforms) such that the layout can break between the subforms without taking away from the readability. These subforms should have a content type of Position. Even though there's only one body page object in your design, since you have three pages worth of stuff, it will spill onto three pages.
Now for the comments fields, which you want to wrap and expand. Make sure that each of your comments fields is in its own subform. Set the field to allow multiple lines and, in the layout tab, click the box to Expand to Fit (height). For the subform that contains the comments field, set the height to auto-fit (layout tab). Also for the subforms that contain comments fields, experiment with the "Allow Page Breaks Within Content" checkbox on the Subform tab. If you expect an instructor to blab on for more than an entire page of text, you will have to select this box, but otherwise I suggest leaving it unselected so that the entire comment remains together.

  • Build screen menu dynamically during program flow

    Hi there.
I've got such situation that I have to determine menu bar apperance according user priveleges.
So for example one user will see on the menu bar:
    ITEM1
    |____subitem1
    |____subitem2
    |____subitem3
Whilst other user would see :
    ITEM1

Do You know some way to determine menu structure in ABAP code? Greetings. P.

    hi,
    while setting the menu use
excl_tab is an internal table should contain the function codes of the buttons which you want to disable for that particular user.
    set pf-status 'MENU' excluding excl_tab.
    see example below.
DATA fcode TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.

  • Dynamically pick the table names in data flow task SSIS

    Hi All,
I want to create a SSIS package which loads the data to a table on the other server every day. I have around 250 tables to load everyday and source and destination table names are available in a metadata table, table names have to read from the metadata
table and data should be loaded. Is there a way that we can configure the source and destination table names dynamically in Data flow task?
I am newbie to SSIS can any help with the solution for this problem.

You can do that, not a big deal. The underlying problem is say suppose you constructed a ETL based on some x source and y destination and have put x(3 columns) as source and y destination(3 columns).. As you said if we have choice of dynamically pick the
table names.. ETL might fail when you face below situation
source x(3 columns)   destination y (4 columns) and there will be no mapping as it is dynamic. Sometimes mapping also fails even if the source and destination have same number of columns. If you still want to do... follow below steps:
    Create two variables:
    1.variable1 , datatype string
    2.variable datatype string
take one execute sql task, pick your source table names dynamically as you desired from metadata table \
"SELECT sourcetblname as Res FROM @metadata WHERE ID=1" in sql statement and then go to name the result name as Res (I meant same as table alias) and map it to variablename1
And in variable2 go to expression and write "Select * from "+@[User::variable].. and this will be your constructed dynamic command for oledb destination.
And connect that execute sql task to (Data flow task)oledb source and choose data access mode as sql command with variable, and choose variable2. below is the diagram.

  • Column names of a dynamic internal table

    Hi Friends,
I have a dynamic internal table flowing in my ABAP program and I want to list down the column names of the this dynamic internal table.
The declaration of this dynamic internal table :
       FIELD-SYMBOLS:
        <l_t_data>         TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
Can you please tell me how to get the column names?
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

    Hi,
You can use ABAP Runtime Type Identification to get the column names of the internal table.
    e.g >
    >lo_itab holds reference to description object of internal table whose column names i have to extract.
    >Using method describe_by_data of class cl_abap_typedescr export the field symbol assigned to the table and import the object reference into lo_itab.
    >Then using method get_table_line_type of lo_itab import line type description object reference into lo_line.
    >Check if lo_line is referring to a structure, if yes , downcast it to a object reference lo_struct of type cl_abap_structdescr.
    >The column description of all columns in the structure is stored in 'components' table of cl_abap_structdescr.
So loop at the table to get all the column names stored in column 'name' of table 'components'.
    Thank You.

  • How can I populate a dynamic form from Excel data (beginner)

I am reasonably certain this is beginner-level but I cannot seem to figure out how to do this. I have data in an ecxel file and I would like to import that data into a form using LS. I need to distribute the unique data to each recipient. (I have included an example below) I would really appreciate any advice. If there is a tutorial that explains this I would be happy to go through that. Thanks in advance.

I would like to send a template e-mail to each sales rep at "PC.com" that says:
    Dear <SalesRep>,
    <Customer> has the following equipment:
    <Account No> | <Customer> | <Equipment>
I would like all the data for each customer to go to the sales rep. For instance, Jim should get an e-mail stating that "Pear Computing" has two items, and a separate e-mail stating that "Orange Computing" has two items. What I want to avoid is the MS Word mail merge solution that equates to Jim getting 4 emails. I would like the equipment to be grouped by customer number or account number. I would prefer to have a dynamic layout with flowed page as the number of items per customer will vary.

    EXTRACT
    Basic form
    EXTRACT fg.
    Effect
Writes all fields of the field group fg (FIELD-GROUPS) as an entry in asequential dataset. If you have defined a field group HEADER,its fields precede each entry as a sort key. Afterwards, you canuse SORT and LOOP ... ENDLOOP to sort or process the datasetrespectively. No further EXTRACT statements are possible afterthis.
    Notes
    General:
As soon as you have extracted a dataset using EXTRACT, you canno longer extend the field group using INSERT. In particular, you cannot change the HEADERfield group at all after the first EXTRACT (regardless of thefield group to which it applied).
Large extract datasets are not stored in main memory. Instead, theyare kept in an external auxiliary file. You can set the directory inwhich this file is created using the SAP profile parameterDIR_EXTRACT. The default directory is the SAP data directory(SAP profile parameter DIR_DATA).
    Notes
    Runtime errors:
EXTRACT_AFTER_SORT/LOOP: EXTRACT after SORT, orLOOP. EXTRACT_BUFFER_NO_ROLL: Unable to create the required main
EXTRACT_FIELD_TOO_LARGE: Occupied length of a field is toolarge.

    Additional help
    Filling anExtract with Data
    Extracts
Since internal tables have fixed line structures, they are not suited to handle data sets with varying structures. Instead, you can use extract datasets for this purpose.
An extract is a sequential dataset in the memory area of the program. You can only address the entries in the dataset within a special loop. The index or key access permitted with internal tables is not allowed. You may only create one extract in any ABAP program. The size of an extract dataset is, in principle, unlimited. Extracts larger than 500KB are stored in operating system files. The practical size of an extract is up to 2GB, as long as there is enough space in the filesystem.
An extract dataset consists of a sequence of records of a pre-defined structure. However, the structure need not be identical for all records. In one extract dataset, you can store records of different length and structure one after the other. You need not create an individual dataset for each different structure you want to store. This fact reduces the maintenance effort considerably.
In contrast to internal tables, the system partly compresses extract datasets when storing them. This reduces the storage space required. In addition, you need not specify the structure of an extract dataset at the beginning of the program, but you can determine it dynamically during the flow of the program.
You can use control level processing with extracts just as you can with internal tables. The internal administration for extract datasets is optimized so that it is quicker to use an extract for control level processing than an internal table.
    Procedure for creating an extract:
Define the record types that you want to use in your extract by declaring them as field groups. The structure is defined by including fields in each field group.
    Defining an Extract
Fill the extract line by line by extracting the required data.
    Filling an Extract with Data
Once you have filled the extract, you can sort it and process it in a loop. At this stage, you can no longer change the contents of the extract.
    Processing Extracts
    INSERT Statement
The INSERT statement is used to insert values into a single database table.
    <insert statement> ::= INSERT INTO <table name> <insert column list> <insert source>.
    <insert source> ::= VALUES '(' <value> ( ',' <value> )* ')'
    | <query specification>.
    <value> ::= <value expression>
    | <dynamic parameter specification>
    | NULL.
    <insert column list> ::= '(' <column name> ( ',' <column name> )* ')'.
In Open SQL the <insert column list> is not optional.
You cannot specify string literals as values for CLOB columns. Hex literals are not supported in Open SQL.
    Examples
    INSERT INTO employees (employee_id, employee_name)
    VALUES (4711, 'John Smith')
Inserting Values. A new row is inserted into the table employees with the values 4711 and 'John Smith' for the columns employee_id and employee_name respectively.
    INSERT INTO well_paid_employees (employee_id, salary)
    SELECT employee_id, salary
    FROM employees
    WHERE salary > ?
Inserting the Result of a Query. The employee_idand the salaryof all employees from table employeeswith a salary exceeding a certain value are inserted into the table well_paid_employees.

  • Passing dynamic table name in ADO. net destination

I am new to SSIS and I have a requirement where i need to pass dynamic table name in ADO .net destination .
My package contains an "Execute Sql task" in the control flow which computes the destination table name to be provided at run time and stores it in a variable expression
"@[User::Table_name]"(which has a scope of full package).
Now, the problem I'm facing right now is that , I am unable to use this variable expression in the ADO .Net Destination .
I need to pass this variable expression as the table name in ado .net destination.
But, whenever I use this variable in place as the table name I keep on getting this error and my package fails:-
[ADO NET Destination [403]] Error: The Table or View name is not expected. \n\t If you are quoting the table name, please use the prefix " and the suffix " of your selected data provider for quotation. \n\t If you are using multipart name,
please use at most three parts for the table name.
Although ,I am able to run my package when i am providing the existing(static) table name.So there is nothing wrong with the  package.
Tried a lot of things still not working..Please help...

I am having the result stored in the variable expression . I just need a way to be able to use it as the Destination table in ADO .net Destination.
I am not sure if this will work for you, but I am able to store the table name in variable and use it dynamically (via data flow task expression property ) as shown.
    Thanks, hsbal
    Hi Adeep,
Based on my further research, just as hsbal said, we can set a variable as ADO.NET Destination table via Expressions property in Data Flow Task.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • Can I use MapViewer to display dynamic flowchart?

    Hi,
    Here is my requirement:
I have a web application consisting of many screens/pages. The page flow is not static but changes dynamically based on user input on each page. I want to add a function for this app to show this dynamic page/screen flow in a different graphic page by pressing a button. This dynamic flow chart should show the pages opened (in the right order) so far and ideally open a particular page when that page node on the chart is clicked.
I am researching Oracle Spatial / Network data model / MapViewer to determine whether these Oracle technologies can meet my requirements.
    I welcome any insight/comment/input/suggestion.
    Thanks,
    Mingsheng

    Hi,
currently MapViewer does not support layout of graphs, but it is planned to support the rendering of networks, which includes the logical network, on a future version.

  • Flowable form not flowing to second page - flowing to top of first page

The content on my Dynamic flowable form flows to the top of my initial, first page, instead of the second page.
I have created a form where the subforms are set to flowed, flow direction is either Top to Bottom or Western Text and the "Allow page breaks within content" boxes are checked. Nothing is set to positioned. In my Pagination tab, my Place is set to "Following Previous" and my After is set to "Continue Filling Parent." I have other forms which were created by other people before I got here that have similar functions, and I've gone in and checked them against this form, and I can't see any differences in the settings. I've created a 2nd master page, thinking the content didn't have anywhere to flow to and maybe that was the problem, but that doesn't help.
I've been playing lightly with Livecycle forms over the last few years and have never had content flow to the top of the same page instead of to a second page. Of course, this is my first time trying to create a form relatively from "scratch," so I'm sure I've done something wrong, but am not sure what. I've attached an imagine of what it looks like at the top of my page after I test to make things expand.
    Any thoughts? Thanks!

On a flowable form, you don't have a page2 exactly. You keep putting everything on page1 and it automatically flows to the next page and the next page. Getting rid of an extra page requires looking in the hierarchy and delete everything on that page including the subform which you have to delete last. Sometimes it's really stubborn and I don't know enough about subforms to know why that is but maybe someone else will jump in to tell us both. You'll get a warning telling you that you are trying to delete the last subform on the page and just say ok.
Now, if you already have a page 2 and stuff on it, open a blank, control all, then control C and paste all that stuff onto the blank, then delete everything off page2 and then delete page2. Go to the blank and repeat the copy process for everything there and paste it onto page one. It should flow over several pages depending on how many objects you have. Then you can close the blank and get rid of it. It's just an object holder while you get your original documents extra pages deleted.
Like I said, I create a blank form, change the Page1 subform to "Flowed" and then save that as a LiveCycle template called "Flowable Layout" or something like that. Then I look at the form I need to make and decide if it needs to flow or not and use a static template for ones that don't and my flowable template for those that do. Knowing ahead of time that you'll need it to flow saves from laying out the form twice. So I just let it flow from top to bottom and set my pieces of layout into positioned subforms. Then it's also easy to show or hide the subforms as needed. I use alot of buttons (visible screen only) to show hidden subforms that aren't needed until someone selects that section. It's all just great fun......

  • Loading a Page Flow into a region programmatically

    Hi everyone,
I'm currently using JDeveloper 11.1.1.0.2, I have a fragment with a backing bean that programatically generates a set of RichPanelSplitters to create a page with a user-defined amount of rows and columns.
This is working fine, but while creating these panels I want to insert into each facet a RichRegion that will contain a Page Flow that I've created (e.g. my-flow-definition.xml which I would normally drag onto a page and select 'Region' from the context menu).
I can easily create a RichRegion in my managed bean, but I have no idea how I'd 'insert' my flow definition into it programatically, is this possible?
    Thanks in advance, Tom

    Hi,
Ok, the post I linked you to won't be useful for that as you really need a "varying amount" of task flows in your page. Since you also posted on another topic about that part I pretty much get that you're trying to create a page composer on your own. MDS would greatly help you do that but, sadly, it's not available and you said your time frame is pretty short in the other thread, leaving you with very few options. Here's what you can attempt, but it's going to be complex:
    1. Create a custom TaskFlowRegionModel (you'll have to check the ADFc API, including the private one, to create a working one). This step is the most complex one;
    2. Make sure all dynamically added task flow do NOT use page defs / data binding nor call task flows that does;
    3. Create an user preference table;
    4. Create a model layer service managing the table;
    5. Change your managed bean you retrieve/write properties on the service and creating region dynamically using your custom made RegionModel created in 1;
    6. Add code to include the current fragment's content at that point, which is very fishy outside JSP pageContext.
You should plan between 10~20 days to create the model alone (step 1) and maybe 5~10 for fragment inclusion step 6. I've created my model in 3 days and the inclusion code in 2, so it's doable in that time frame as well, but I'm not a newbie with JDeveloper, ADF nor JSF at all so I would take those number as close to absolute minimum time required and even then I could not overcome the point 2's limitation. I'm not allowed to share the code though, sorry about that.

  • Dynamic regions issue data transmission was interrupted

Hi. I'm using JDev 11.2.2 and ADF full stack.
Issue is when I'm trying to refresh a dynamic region to load a new task flow. Let me give a test case step by step:
1.- Using HR, build model: Create objects(Entities, View Objects) for tables Employees and Departments and an Application Module.
2.-In VC, add a facelets page with two columns layout, first for a tree for switching regions and a dynamic region in the second column.
3.- Create a page fragment which includes a table generated from employees view in data controls and another page fragment for departments view.
4.- Create two bounded task flows, one for employees fragment and another for departments fragment.
5.- Drag and drop a bounded task flow to create a dynamic region in the second column of main page. Make sure selecting backingBean scope for new bean (default is Request scope).
6.- In model, create a static list populated View Object with two attributes: one for task flow id and one for description
7.- In VC, generate a Tree in the first column of main page
8.- Write a selection listener for tree component to read the current task flow id and set that value to dynamic region task flow id in appropriate bean.
9.- Set partials triggers in dynamic region in the main page to listen to tree events.
10.- Run and try to load a new task flow by clicking in the tree. An alert is fired with this message:
*"The content of this page failed to load as expected because data transmission was interrupted. Please try again, or contact your system administrator."*
And, in the log appears following lines:
    *<FaceletViewHandlingStrategy> <handleRenderException> Error Rendering View[index.jsf]*

If the taskflow id of taskflow which didn't work is established in dynamic region bean as initial taskflow for the region, it works, but the other taskflow fails.....
    Any suggestions?

Thank you. That solves the issue. Maybe a mistake in docs:
    It says:
To create an ADF dynamic region:
In the Application Navigator, select and open the JSF page where you want to create the ADF dynamic region.
Drag and drop the first bounded task flow onto the JSF page.
From the context menu that JDeveloper displays, choose Create > Dynamic Region.
Choose the appropriate option in the Choose Managed Bean for Dynamic Region dialog that JDeveloper displays:
If you want an existing managed bean to store the bounded task flow's ID, select an existing managed bean from the Managed Bean dropdown list.
The managed bean passes the value of the bounded task flow's ID into the task flow binding of the ADF dynamic region. Make sure that the managed bean you select is not used by another ADF dynamic region.
If no managed bean exists for the page, click the Add icon next to the Managed Bean dropdown list to create a new one. Enter values in the dialog that appears as follows:
Bean Name: Enter a name for the new managed bean. For example, enter DynamicRegionBean.
Class Name: Enter the name of the new managed bean class.
Package: Enter the name of the package that is to contain the managed bean or browse to locate it.
Extends: Enter the name of the Java class that the managed bean extends. The default value is java.lang.Object.
Scope: This field is read-only and its value is set to backingBean. For more information about the memory scope for managed beans, see Section 18.2.4, "What You May Need to Know About Memory Scope for Task Flows."
Click OK to close the dialogs where you configure the managed bean.
