Dynamic node creation from RTTI structure and dynamic mapping
Hi,
I'd like to create a dynamic node in my component controller then map this node to a node in my view and bind it to a dynamic table.
I create the dynamic node in my component controller using the add_new_child_node method :
CALL METHOD root_node_info->add_new_child_node
EXPORTING
name = 'MY_TABLE'
static_element_rtti = struct_type
is_static = ABAP_true
RECEIVING
child_node_info = node_info
Then I use the add_new_mapped_child_node method to map the node in the view :
* Map the context node dynamically
wa_path = 'COMPONENTCONTROLLER.MY_TABLE'.
insert wa_path into table tab_mapping_path.
stru_mapping_info-controller = 'COMPONENTCONTROLLER'.
stru_mapping_info-path = tab_mapping_path.
lo_node_info = wd_context->get_node_info( ).
CALL METHOD lo_node_info->add_new_mapped_child_node
EXPORTING
child_name = 'MY_TABLE'
mapping_info = stru_mapping_info
receiving
child_node_info = lo_dyn_node_info
The child node is created in my view context but it doesn't have any attribute or static element RTTI.
Do I have to add each attribute with the add_attribute method and then the add_new_mapped_child_node method will copy them over?
Regards,
Pierre
Problem solved, the path was not good :
* Map the context node dynamically
* wa_path = 'COMPONENTCONTROLLER.MY_TABLE'.
* insert wa_path into table tab_mapping_path.
stru_mapping_info-controller = 'COMPONENTCONTROLLER'.
* stru_mapping_info-path = tab_mapping_path.
append 'COMPONENTCONTROLLER' to stru_mapping_info-path.
append 'MY_TABLE' to stru_mapping_info-path.
lo_node_info = wd_context->get_node_info( ).
CALL METHOD lo_node_info->add_new_mapped_child_node
EXPORTING
child_name = 'MY_TABLE'
mapping_info = stru_mapping_info
receiving
child_node_info = lo_dyn_node_info
Regards,
Pierre

Node removed from the cluster and cannot joined to clustr again
Hi
I have problem with 2 node cluster. we are running windows 2008 R2 enterprise edition. Suddenly one node had some issue with network connnectivity and it was removed from the cluster. on the console its shows node1 offline. connectivity between the
server public and private nic is fine.
Node 'node1' failed to form a cluster. This was because the witness was not accessible. Please ensure that the witness resource is online and available.
Cluster resource 'File Share Witness' in clustered service or application 'Cluster Group' failed.
'File Share Witness is accessible to both the nodes. from the cluster log i can see failed to attempt lock on the FSW.
I have restarted the failure node. still the problem exist.
Thanks in advance to throw some valuable answers to my issue.Are you using Volume Manager Disk Group. Please check the below link if you are using it.

Calling IDoc structure from IDOC metadata into Java mapping.
Hi All,
I have a requirement where we need to post an IDOC on target side, We are having to go for a Java Mapping ,so I need to create a Target XML with IDOC Structure, So i need to understand if we could import the structure from IDOC Meta Data in to the Java Mapping insted of creating the IDOC Structure, I am using DOM parser for my Java Mapping,
Really appreciate your response in this regard.
Best Regards
JayaramHi Jayram,
In your requirement, get the xsd format of the idoc from idoc structure and using String xsdFormat ="xsd retrieved"; in the java mapping, you can create the xml structure using DOM parse APIs and then you can put values into the structure and pass it.
Thanks,

Import XSD from BAPI structure
Hi all,
I have a problem when export XSD scchema from BAPI structure and use this schema to create a data type using import XSD schema. The error is following displayed:
Schema to be handled does not contain a definition of type BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
Any idea?????
Thanks in advance,
Michele LazzaratoHi Stephan,
I have created an Abap Proxy and the error message in English as follow:

Dynamic Structure and Components Issue
Hi,
I have a requirement of creating an inbound idoc program and populating dynamic structures. The program for the dynamic structure creation is as follows: ( I have been referencing Heilmans Blog ): The part for the inbound idoc creation works fine. The data will come in a flat file with Table name and 15 characterstcis. The table name is known at runtime. I need to create the dynamic table, find out the components and then populate the custom table with the dynamically created structures.
Custom table: 4 components
Internal table from file: 15 components with value.
There could be more than one table in the flat file and not all components or char in the flat file is mapped to the table.
I have been able to code the part where the components in the structure and the file components are in the same order. The problem is if the components in the structure and the file components are not in the same order. I would appreciate some inputs in this issue.
The part that has to be worked out is:
IF NOT L_TABNAME IS INITIAL.
perform get_structure.
perform create_dynamic_itab.
perform get_data.
ENDIF.

How to pass values in dynamic structure and then dynamic table
Hi,
we have a Z structure in se11 holding 10 fields. But at run time i need to create a dynamic table with more than 10 records.
I am able to create the structure and corresponding internal table. Now the issue is i have to populate this dynamic structure with some values and then append it to dynamic internal table. Since the dynamic table type is any its not allowing an index operation like modify etc etc.
Could anyone help me in passing the values . I have searched in SDN . everyone created a dynamic table and then populated it values from some standard or custom tables.Then assigning the component of structure and displaying the output. but in my situation i have no such values stored in any tables. i populate values based on certain calculation.Hi Friends,
This is the piece of code.After creating dynamic work area and dynamic table what i should do?

I want to create one alv grid using function REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY,for this i have passing the fieldcatalog to slis_t_fieldcat_alv.i have been passing my fieldnames ,and col,sel_text_m to fieldcatalog.instead of passing the fields can we assign fields catalog dynamically from the structure.....i have all the fieldnames in one structure for to be displayed in alv list.
pls read the below for reference....

Defining table from DDIC-structure dynamically
Hi folks!
Does anybody know whether it is possible to build an internal table from DDIC-structures dynamically?
I have a deep structured itab_upload(whose structure is defined in the DDIC), which contains 2 fields(Number Name) and a third field which contains itab_desc.
This itab_desc can contain either 2 fields(Number Name) and a third field which contains another itab_desc <b>or</b> 3 fields for numbers(without any other itab).If itab_desc contains another itab_desc, the second itab_desc contains only 3 fields for numbers and names...
help will be very appreciated and points will be rewarded!

Aisurya.Hi,
looking at code it seems that you are adding textview and inputfield. please check in debugging if the correct context node/attribute is being created and you are providing its reference while adding UI elements.
Thanks,

Node creation and addition to existing Element Node
Hi all,
I have a class that opens a xml file, loads the Document and then, from a method, I am trying to add sub nodes to one of the Element node from the XML document. It just doesn't work.
This is the method that is supposed to add the nodes:
public Node getSubNode( Node iCurrentNode )
// Method local variables
DocumentBuilder lBuilder = null;
Document lDocument = null;
DocumentBuilderFactory lFactory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
// Prepare the document and final Node to return
lBuilder = lFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
lDocument = lBuilder.newDocument();
Element lSubMenu = lDocument.createElement("sub_menu");
lSubMenu.setAttribute("ID", "User20");
lSubMenu.setAttribute("label", "Montreal user 1");
iCurrentNode.appendChild( lSubMenu );
lSubMenu = lDocument.createElement("sub_menu");
lSubMenu2.setAttribute("ID", "User21");
lSubMenu2.setAttribute("label", "Montreal user 2");
lDocument.appendChild(lSubMenu2);*/
return iCurrentNode;
I always get a "org.apache.crimson.tree.DomEx: WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR: That node doesn't belong in this document."
So I understand by this that I am working with a Document that I declared in this method and thus, for an unknown reason, seem unable to add this node to my existing Element node.
What should I do to be able to add these nodes to my input Node?
Dominique PaquinOk, to answer my own question, and for the benefit of future people searching here for an answer, I'd used 2 different Document instance for the creation of my 2 nodes, one for the creation of the basic Node structure and one for the creation of the node that would be added to the other one. Since the importNode (done on the first one ) removes the parent from the imported node, I was no longer in a position to access the parent reference.
I simply created a single Document in my class as a global variable and used this single entity to create all my nodes (the original and the one added to the original), It solved all my problems.
I don't know if I was clear anough but if you need further explanation drop me a line.

Please help! Invalid node structure and invalid record count
My MacBook Pro is about 6.5 years old. I upgraded to Snow Leopard 2 years ago and added RAM at the same time. My first problem ever occurred three days ago when my computer got super sluggish, I restarted and got the gray screen with apple and spinning wheel...no boot up. I ran disk utility from the snow leopard install disk and found "invalid node structure" and "invalid record count". After reading on here what to do...try to repair the disk and so on with no success I went out and bought Disk Warrior. Got home expecting to fix everything and Disc Warrior won't boot...I just get a file with a question mark and the disc is ejected. I tried erasing the hard drive but was only able to use the "don't erase data" option. Then I tried to reinstall Snow Leopard with no luck. Now I am stuck. Any ideas?
One thing to note is I am to the point of not caring about the files on the hard drive, I was a dummy and never backed them up...lesson learned! I just want my computer back without having to spend $1000+ for a new one. Then again I am always willing to do that too as a last resort.
PLEASE HELP!When you contact Alsoft, make sure you let them know that you are using Snow Leopard (10.6.8).
Try the following in the meantime -
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963 and restart your computer.
Try DiskWarrarior again if it's combatible with the os system.
YOu cannot reformat until you get your issue corrected. -
Huge problems with my MacBook: Invalid Node Structure and More!
A couple days ago I was browsing the internet, and when I closed Safari, the system froze. I couldn't even force quit out of anything, so I had to shut it off manually. When I tried to turn my computer back on the next day, I couldn't get past the Apple screen. The little wheel would keep spinning, but I could never get anywhere.
Then, I tried to boot from the Leopard DVD to possibly reinstall Leopard, hoping it would work. At first, no drives would show up to install to, but for some reason, they eventually showed up. Problem is, I don't have enough free memory to reinstall Leopard. Furthermore, I've tried to fit it on the space I have, and it says that the install failed, so I can't reinstall Leopard.
I also went to Disk Utility from the DVD and tried to repair the disk. The only option available was to Verify Disk, but when I go there, that fails, and it says "invalid node structure."
I'm not sure what happened to my computer because it seemed to come from nowhere. To sum up, I cannot log in to OS X, or even XP on a separate partition, I can't reinstall Leopard, and I can't repair the disk. I've read about how DiskWarrior might help, but I can't get in to OS X. Does anyone have any idea what happened or what I can do? I haven't backed anything up, so if I'm screwed, then so be it, I guess. Just wondering if anyone has any explanations or suggestions. Thanks.Interesting how many people have this same issue. A friend of mine has brought me her white Macbook Intel Core 2 with Leopard and it had a folder with a question mark instead of the apple at startup. I was able to boot using the Mac Install DVD and ran Disk Utility. It said something like "Invalid Node Structure" and "Cannot Repair". Unfortunately DiskWarrior will not fix this. I tried it to no avail. I'm resigned to the fact that a new hard drive is necessary.
The HD in there is a Hitachi 120GB.
It also wouldn't let me erase the disk nor partition it. Then, one morning I woke up and it was able to erase! So I erased, then installed Tiger. It seemed to be working fine. So I rebooted from the Leopard drop-in disk and installed Leopard. Then I restarted, and BAM! back to the question mark folder. Now I'm back to where I started. Other threads
I forgot to mention that my friend had photos and music on the HD that she couldn't do without and I was able to recover that data using Data Recover II. First I had to use SuperDuper to clone my own computer onto an external drive so I could use it as a boot drive.
For now the only solution is to buy a new internal hard drive and reinstall the OS. And regularly backup!!
So I guess this issue has not really been solved, but hopefully you have warranty. Unfortunately for my friend, this happened a week after her warranty expired.
Good luck. -
How to retreive data from a table and a structure
Hi experts,
I have a requirement to create an ALV report. I have to include fields from two tables 'PA0001' and 'CATSDB' and from one structure 'CATSAPPR'. I am able to retrieve data from tables using INNERJOIN. But i have no idea how to deal with Structure.
I know that structure does not contain any data.
But i am not able to find any transparent table which has field 'ORDERTEXT' . I found field 'ORDERTEXT' only in structure 'CATSAPPR'.
So please anyone tell me, either any transparent table which has field 'ORDERTEXT' or please tell me how to deal with structure, in this case.
Please help me,
Thanks in advance

Hello Friends,
To display the field on the View, we can create the field via 3 ways:
1) By creating the model attribute
2) By creating the model node using the GENIL object and using its attributes in view
3) Creating the field in Database structure using AET
But, i am not aware that in exactly what kind of business scenarios we use the above 3 methods to create the field.
Could you help me out to clarify the same.Hi Dev,
1). By creating the model attribute: we will use this option in case of the field is avaibla in stanadrd sap system. It might be in another under child context nodes and we will use BOL relations to access the attribute.
2). By creating the model node using the GENIL object and using its attributes in view: We will use this option incase of there is no standard provision to use. Means you want to create any custom assignment block with custom attributes then you can go for this option. More over we can use AET to create custom genil object. We have an option Create Table in AET.
3).Creating the field in Database structure using AET: We will use this option incase of there is no attribute in database relevant to your requirement then we will go for AET enhancement.
Hope this might give you little clarification..

FDS and Hibernate dynamic mapping
I am using FDS with hibernate
(flex.data.assemblers.HibernateAssembler) to transfer data between
the flex client and my JDBC database. This works really smooth, as
long as I specify a server-side java class (POJO) in the
<hibernate-mapping><class name="some.class"> attribute.
As I dont really need these server-side java classes for
anything else, I have tried to save some work by using the
hibernate "dynamic-map" mode (<hibernate-mapping><class
entity-name="some.entity">). But in this case, FDS does not map
the result to the corresponding flex ActionScript class with the
correct RemoteClass alias. The DataService "fill" method returns an
ArrayCollection of "ManagedObjectProxy" items containing the field
"$type$=some.entity" instead.
Does FDS support hibernate dynamic mapping? Is there a
workaround for this problem?
Best,
PerHi Per,
The Hibernate assembler doesn't currently support the
dynamic-map mode, so for now you'll need your POJOs.
Best,
Seth
