Dynamic Table Creation with the sortable collection model in the bean.

Hi all,
My requirement: I want to create the table dynamically with the set of rows. This set of rows will be holded in the Bean for the sortable variable.
(private SortableModel viewDeleteCollectionModel)
Issue: "_No Data to Display_" is coming in the Dynamic Table. Whereas when i checked with the collection model row count it is showing the correct no of rows.
Code for Dynamic Table in JSFF:
<af:table varStatus="rowStat" value="#{ViewHistoryDelete.viewDeleteCollectionModel}"
rows="#{ViewHistoryDelete.viewDeleteCollectionModel.rowCount}"
rowSelection="single" width="99%" var="row" id="t2" summary=" " >
<af:forEach items="#{ViewHistoryDelete.viewDeleteColumnNames}" var="name">
<af:column headerText="#{name}" sortable="true" sortProperty="#{name}" id="pt_c1">
<af:inputText value="#{row[name]}" label="#{row[name]}" readOnly="true" id="it2"/>
</af:column>
</af:forEach>
</af:table>
Bean Code:
Varaible DEclaration : private SortableModel viewDeleteCollectionModel;
Row assignig to collection model : viewDeleteCollectionModel = new SortableModel(new ArrayList<Map<String, Object>>());
((List<Map<String, Object>>) viewDeleteCollectionModel.getWrappedData()).addAll(viewDeletedData);
viewHistoryDelete.setViewDeleteCollectionModel(viewDeleteCollectionModel);
After this iam checked by putting sop for the table row count
iam getting actual no.of rows. But to the screen it is not showing the rows.
Any solution............
reg,
bakkia.

    Hi,
    You can use following sample code to create advance table columns dynamically with colum groups as well.
    It assumes that you have already created advance table with ID EmpTblRN.
    Below code returns column heading dynamically and if you keep your VO column names and attributes
    same in all the cases (COL1, COL2.....) then you can easily use a loop to create advance table columns.
    It is attaching VO attributes to OAMessageStyledText bean in the last.
    Hope it helps.
    OAAdvancedTableBean advTable = (OAAdvancedTableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("EmpTblRN");
    Serializable [] param = {currentWindowSeq.toString()};
    Datum[] colHeadingArray = (Datum[])am.invokeMethod("getColumnHeading", param);
    String oldGrpName = null;
    String newGrpName = null;
    OAColumnGroupBean columnGroup = null;
    DictionaryData columnFormat = new DictionaryData();
    columnFormat.put(WIDTH_KEY, "4%");
    for (int i = 0; i < colHeadingArray.length; i++)
    try
    oracle.sql.STRUCT os = (oracle.sql.STRUCT)colHeadingArray;
    Object[] colHeadAttr = os.getAttributes();
    newGrpName = (String)colHeadAttr[0];
    if(newGrpName!=null)
    if(!newGrpName.equals(oldGrpName))
    // Create a column group, create the set the column header,
    // and add the column group under the advanced table
    columnGroup = (OAColumnGroupBean)createWebBean(pageContext, COLUMN_GROUP_BEAN, null, "ColGroup"+i);
    OASortableHeaderBean columnGroupHeader = (OASortableHeaderBean)createWebBean(pageContext, SORTABLE_HEADER_BEAN, null, "ColGroupHeader"+i);
    columnGroupHeader.setText(newGrpName);
    // Retrieve from message dictionary
    columnGroup.setColumnHeader(columnGroupHeader);
    advTable.addIndexedChild(columnGroup);
    oldGrpName = newGrpName;

    column1Header.setText(colHeadAttr[1].toString());
    column1.setColumnHeader(column1Header);
    column1.setColumnFormat(columnFormat);
    columnGroup.addIndexedChild(column1);
    // Create the actual leaf item under the first column
    OAMessageStyledTextBean leaf1 = (OAMessageStyledTextBean)createWebBean(pageContext, MESSAGE_STYLED_TEXT_BEAN, null, "Leaf"+i);

  • How can I tell the MacBook Pro with 13-in retina that I purchase is the late 2013 model from the box?

    I'm wondering how I can tell the differences between the late 2013 model and the early 2013 model of MacBook Pro with 13-inch retina from the box?

    You can enter the serial number in the appropriate field on a web site such as this and it will tell you what model it is:

  • How can i add a special user to the "site collection administrators" of the personal site on sharepoint online when the personal site is creating ?

    when a new personal site is created on the sharepoint online 2013, then the administrator of this personal site will be himself. we can add another person to the "site collection administrators", then this person have full control of this personal
    site.
    but my request is : add this personal to the personal site when the personal site is creating, but not after the personal site has created ?
    Is anybody know how to do that?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add a special user to the "site collection administrators" of the personal site on sharepoint online when the personal site is creating.
    Per my knowledge,
    there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint.
    This is a forum which is supported for SharePoint On-Premise.

    As the error says.  The Publishing Infrastructure feature must be activated at the Site Collection level where you are creating a new site PRIOR to turning on the Publishing feature.  So if you are trying to use this site definition to create a
    new Site Collection then its not going to work.  If you are trying to create a sub site then make sure that Publishing Infrastructure is enabled in the site collection before trying to create a sub site with this site definition.
    Internally Microsoft does this for the Publishing Portals using custom code.  Here's an article that discusses how to do it in SharePoint 2010.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/gg615465(v=office.14).aspx
    Compare what's in the article to one of the Publishing templates available out of the box in 2013 and you should be able to find the assembly that is used to load the Publishing features.

  • Date choosers and dynamic email creation with table

    I’m an experienced Director/Shockwave programmer but a
    relative novice at Flash/AS3. I’ve just been asked to provide
    a quote to convert part of an old project from Director to Flash
    (web delivery). The part to be converted is very similar to a
    reservation system but without the need for data lookup or storage;
    it requires the user to choose a date (using a date chooser
    component), collects some additional information, performs some
    calculations, then graphically displays 3 consecutive calendar
    months with a range of days highlighted. The user could then opt to
    email the results, behind the scenes my code wrote html to a string
    and attached the string to an email to recreate the results.
    The client was fussy about the data input, eg; requiring that
    users be able to input dates using either a date chooser or by
    typing the date, and that the unused method should update on focus
    change.
    So with all that said, I’ve found three date choosers.
    Does anyone know if one of these would be better suited to my needs
    than another? Also, the email requirement may go away, but does
    anyone have tricks in AS3 to do something similar to what I did
    with Lingo?

  • Table creation with partition

    following is the table creation script with partition
    CREATE TABLE customer_entity_temp (
    BRANCH_ID NUMBER (4),
    ACTIVE_FROM_YEAR VARCHAR2 (4),
    ACTIVE_FROM_MONTH VARCHAR2 (3),
    partition by range (ACTIVE_FROM_YEAR,ACTIVE_FROM_MONTH)
    (partition yr7_1999 values less than ('1999',TO_DATE('Jul','Mon')),
    partition yr12_1999 values less than ('1999',TO_DATE('Dec','Mon')),
    it gives an error
    ORA-14036: partition bound value too large for column
    but if I increase the size of the ACTIVE_FROM_MONTH column to 9 , the script works and creates the table. Why is it so ?
    Also, by creating a table in this way and populating the table data in their respective partitions, all rows with month less than "JULY" will go in yr7_1999 partition and all rows with month value between "JUL" and "DEC" will go in the second partition yr12_1999 , where will the data with month value equal to "DEC" go?
    Plz help me in solving this problem
    thanks n regards
    Moloy

    Hi,
    You declared ACTIVE_FROM_MONTH VARCHAR2 (3) and you try to check it against a date in your partitionning clause:TO_DATE('Jul','Mon')so you should first check your data model and what you are trying to achieve exactly.
    With such a partition decl, you will not be able to insert dates from december 1998 included and onward. The values are stricly less than (<) not less or equal(<=) hence such lines can't be inserted. I'd advise you to check the MAXVALUE value jocker and the ENABLE ROW MOVEMENT partitionning clause.
    Regards,
    Yoann.

  • How to create a dynamic table (repeating) with static header?

    Hello
    My purpose is to create a table which should be dynamically filled at runtime depending on the number of elements in the datasource($record.list). If the list is empty, the table shouldn't be displayed at all.
    I created a subform which holds a table, ticking "Repeat Subform for each data item" and I set the binding of the table elements to $record.list[*].myelement. This works fine so far.
    For the table header I created a second subform with a table having exactly the same size like the other table with text fields that contain the table header texts.
    My problem now is that I would like to control the display of the subform which serves as table header row depending on whether $record.list is empty or not.
    What's the best way to do this? How can I have access to the datasource for a form?
    Thank you very much for your help!!!
    Best regards
    Bettina Hepp

    Hi,
    Instead of creating the header row outside the table.
    Create it inside the same table as header row.
    So when you create a condition then automatically applicable for the header row also.
    This is the best option.

  • Dynamic Table Creation using RTTS - Question on Issue

    I am using the RTTS services to dynamically create a table.  However, when I attempt to use the get_components method it does not return all the components for all tables that I am working with.
    Cases and End Results
    1) Created structure in data dictionary – get_components works.
    2) Pass PA0001, P0001 or T001P to get_components and I do not receive the correct results.  It only returns a small subset of these objects.  The components table has all the entries; however, the get_components method only returns about 4 rows.
    Can you explain this and point me to the correct logic sequence? I would like the logic to work with all tables.
    Code excerpt below:
    The logic for the get components works for case 1, but not case 2. When I pass into this method a "Z" custom table or structure name for parameter “structure_name” and the get_components() method executes and returns the correct results. However, when I pass in any of the objects listed above in case 2, the get_components method does not return the correct number of entries. When I check typ_struct which is populated right before the get_components line, I see the correct number of components in the components table.

  • Dynamic Table in PDF - only first row passed to the WD Java

    Hi Experts,
    I'm working with Web Dynpro for Java on WAS 2004s SP13, ADS for SP13 and LiveCycle Designer 7.1
    I am facing a problem related to PDF-dynamic table generation.
    I am creating the PDF form with a dynamic table, an empty row will be added, when ADD button is clicked, the row will be deleted when DELETE button is clicked. After form submit, only first row of the table is passed to the Web Dynpro. I'v tried to use different dataSource Context node structure without results. The structure diescribed in the thread [Dynamic Table -  same data repeating in all rows;  doesnt works for me. The same happend if i try to folow the advise from Wiki https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/WDJava/Creating%20Table%20in%20Interacting%20form%20using%20Web%20Dynpro.
    Beside this,  my DropDown list in the table column is not populated. I know how to populate the DropDown list outside of table. That's working fine. But the DropDown in the table just not respond on the click (is not going open). I'm pretty sure that this is a result of a Context node structure/binding issue.
    Please suggest me how can i implement dynamic table and populate the data in table dropdown column.

    Hi Prabhakar,
    You describe exactly my situation. The node which is bound to the table row has cardinality 1..n. Exactly Context structure is:
    node dataSource (cardinality 1..1/ Singleton true) ======> dataSource of the Interactive Form
    subnode TableList (cardinality 1..1/ Singleton true) ======> bound to the table in the Interactive Form
    subnode TableWrapper (cardinality 1..n/ Singleton true) ======> bound to the table row in the Interactive Form
    subnode TableData (cardinality 0..1/ Singleton false) ======> table data
    attribute 1  ====>     Context nodeattribute bound to the table row field
    attribute 2
    This structure is recommanded in the post that I found on the Forum (see the firs hyperlink in my firs post).
    Is this structure correct? Why is not working?
    Your link is not working. Can you post the correct one.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Adnan
