Dynamically Creating DVM file

I have a requirement to read Pipe delimited text file and add those entries in DVM file.Later access the dvm file through dvm:lookup in the same SOA project.
Is it possible to create DVM file from SOA Project (programmatically) and access it from the same SOA project to do lookup?
I have tried using Spring context to create the DVM file through Java program. After deploying the SOA project, it creates the file under weblogic root folder which is not accessible by SOA project.
Any one tried this scenario? or any Java Program to push DVM file to SOA-MDS (database)?
Thanks,
Naveen

  • How to change the default save encoding of the dvm files when create dvm???

    When I creating a DVM(domain-value mapping) in Chinese on the ESB control and confirm it, then restarted the SOA service, the DVM that I created in Chinese disappeared from ESB control. All the maps(both English and Chinese ) are in DVM Repository.
    After I updated the encoding from ‘UTF-8’ to ‘GB2312’ in the three files below, and restarted the SOA service, the DVM in Chinese appeared on ESB control.
    But when I adding the second row in Chinese and save it, then restart the SOA service, the DVM in Chinese disappeared from ESB Control once again. Because the encoding in the three files below is updated from ‘GB2312’ to ‘UTF-8’ .

    I have the same problem.  When I updated to Mavericks now the bookmarks bar font is huge.  I liked it the way it was before.  I liked the smaller font.  Also wish I could change the color of the sidebar and font/folders too.
    I tried to see in preferences if there was anyway to change it, but I don't see anything there.

  • Uploading data from excel file to a dynamically created internal table

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where i have to upload data from an excel file into a database table. I would be able to determine the structure of the table only at runtime based on the user input.. so i have created an internal table dynamically.
    Could you please tell me if its possible to upload data from an excel file to the dynamically created internal table using any function modules?
    I thought of doing this by declaring a generic internal table of one field and then uploading the *.csv file into it and then splitting it based on "," and then assigning it to the field symbol referencing the internal table.. but my file length exceeds 132 characters and i'm only able to get data of lenght 132 char's in my internal table ( generic one).
    Could anyone please show me a way around this.

  • Creating a dynamic sqlldr control file

    Hi,
    I am in need of creating a dynamic sqlldr control file that will check the flat file, delimiter and load the data in a table. The table is having all the columns but the flat file can vary time to time.
    looking forward for your valuable suggestions.
    Regards

    You may want to post more explicit requirements if you want sample code. For example, what the file looks like, what variations are allowed, what variations are disallowed, an example control file that would be output, etc. Specifying the precise language you're using (there are many different shell scripting languages) would also help.
    In my experience, though, this sort of thing is almost always a one-off-- examples don't tend to be particularly helpful because every set of requirements tends to be very particular. If you have a full understanding of the requirements, and a decent understanding of your scripting language, I doubt it would take more than half a day to knock something together.

  • Xml publisher enterprise!!! create rtf file dynamically with load xml data

    i want create rtf file dynamically with loading xml data....means i wrote a program in jsp where the the output in xml file simultaneously create rtf file..but i enable load the xml data in rtf file but when i goto rtf file from where data in that load xml then it genrate the columns..but i want in dynamiclly to load the data will you please guide me ......

    Hi Atiq
    Im not quite clear on the requirement here:
    1. Do you just want to be able to extract the data and apply a template to the XML data from your jdp and render output?
    If so then you can use the XMLP APIs ... the are in the user guide. Particularly:
    RTFProcessor - converts RTF template to XSLFO stylesheet
    FOProcessor - takes, XML data, XSLFO stylesheet and output format and generates the required output.
    2. Do you want a template that will accept any data and just format it into rows and columns ? This can be written but your XML structure is going to have to be static, the data of course can be dynamic.

    i have a variable FileName. In refresh tab i have written a query like SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'YYYY,MM,DD') || 'TEST' FROM DUAL. i tested the variable and its value is correct.
    i have created an interface to extract the data from table and store it in file. i have assigned variable FileName to the file.
    Now when i run the interface...the file is created but the header is created in different file and its name is ambiguous e,g(19) and the data is placed in other file with the name which is the value of variable FileName.....

  • Url location of dynamically created file...

    I have a web app war that I have deployed to weblogic. This war generates some images which I want to point to from my web app browser.
    1. Is there a specific directory ( like the default root of the web app ) that I can get access to create these files ?
    2. Then what is the relative url to use to access these images ? ie, after creating the file in step (1), what relative url should I pass to the RequestDispatcher to access these images ?
    I can do this in Tomcat because I can create "/webapp/images" directory, and create the image files under this directory and then access them using the same url. But in weblogic, I dont know what the default directory is.
    Thanks
    -- pady

    Hi Pady,
    we have to place all imaze files or jsps or html files under webapplication directory(resides WEB-INF directory of the webapp).
    then the container automatically reads those files.
    we can access these files with RequestDispatcher Interface as given below.
    RequestDispatcher dispatcher =      request.getRequestDispatcher("/template.jsp");
         if (dispatcher != null) dispatcher.forward(request, response);
    suppose if you placed imaze files under myimazes folder then we can acces those files like this
    RequestDispatcher dispatcher =      request.getRequestDispatcher("/myimazes/imaze.jpeg");
    dispatcher.forward(request, response);

  • Create XML file dynamically from textInput fields

    Hi,
    I'm very new to Flex and trying to create an application that creates XML files on the users' local computer, based on a users input into textInput fields.
    At the moment I'm having trouble finding how to dyamically create an external XML file at all, ideally when the user pushes a button a browseForSave dialog box will open allowing the user to select somewhere on their hard drive to create the XML file.

  • Is there a way to use a statically defined appearance stream in a dynamically created annotation?

    Hello,
    I want to create a document with cascading 'popups'.  Not the built-in text-only popup, but an annotation containing an appearance stream that defines text and images.  I'm currently using widget annotations based on a pushbutton field.
    Each page in my document has many citations that refer to other pages in the document.  When a user hovers over the citation, I want a 'popup' to appear containing a depiction of the destination.  However, as the destination will itself have citations, I also want the 'popup' to contain citations that the user can hover over, triggering another popup, etc.  In this way, a user could navigate throughout the document without leaving the page or even clicking the mouse.
    Obviously, with even a modest number of citations per page, pre-calculating and statically defining all of these widgets causes a combinatorial explosion, making the document sluggish and very large.
    Instead, I'd like to statically define appearance streams once per document, and then dynamically create annotations and assign the appropriate appearance stream using JS as the user navigates.
    So far I've created a named AP in the names dictionary, but I haven't been able to use it to dynamically set an appearance stream of a dynamically created widget annotation.
    Also, I've called Doc.getIcon(), passing in the named AP, which returns an Icon object.  However, after field.buttonSetIcon() and passing in the named AP, the button does not display the icon.
    Is there a way to use a statically defined appearance stream in a dynamically created annotation?
    Thank you,
    Dave

    Hi George, I've gotten named APs to work, and I expect hidden buttons will follow.  Thank you very much!
    Quick follow-up - I will have many documents embedded within the same pdf file, and some of these documents will contain identical popups.  However, I don't want to store identical icons in each document on account of file size.
    Instead, I'd like to store one instance of each icon for all documents in the file.
    Can I store all of the icons in a single document, and then access them by calling <DocName>.getField().getIcon() from any document in the file?
    Thank you again,
    Dave

  • How to dynamically load jar files - limiting scope to that thread

    Dynamically loading jar files has been discussed a lot. I have read a quite a few posts, articles, and demo code for doing just that. However, I have yet to find a solution to my problem. Most people modify their system class loader and are happy. I have done that and was happy for a time. Occasionally, you will see reference to an application server or tomcat or some other large project that have successfully been able to load and unload jar files, allow for dynamic deployment of code, etc. However, I have not been able to achieve similar success; And my problem is much less complicated.
    I have an application that executes a thread to send a given file/message to a standard JMS Server Queue. Depending on the parameters selected by the user, this thread may need to communicate with one of a number of JMS Servers, ie. JBoss, WebLogic, EAServer, Glassfish, etc. All of which can be done with the same code, but each needs to load their own flavor of JMS Client Jar files. In this instance, spawning a separate JVM for each communication would work from a classloader perspective. However, I need to keep it in the family and run under the same JVM, albeit each JMS Server Connection will be created and maintained in separate Threads.
    I am close, I am doing the following...
    1. Creating a new URLClassLoader in the run() method of each thread.
    2. Set this threads contextClassLoader to the new URLClassLoader.
    3. Load the javax.jms.JMSException class with the URLClassLoader.loadClass() method.
    4. Create an initialContext object within this thread.
    Note: I read that the initialContext and subsequent conext lookup calls would use the Threads
    contextClassLoader for finding/loading classes.
    5. Perform context.lookup calls for a connectionFactory and Queue name.
    6. Create JMS Connection, etc. Send Message.
    Most of this seems to work. However, I am still getting a NoClassDefFoundError exception for the javax.jms.JMSException class ( Note step #3 - tried to cure unsuccessfully).
    If I include one of the JMS Client jar files ( ie wljmsclient.jar for weblogic ) in the classpath then it works for all the different JMS Servers, but I do not have confidence that each of the providers implemented these classes that now resolve the same way. It may work for now, but, I believe I am just lucky.
    Can anyone shine some light on this for me and all the others who have wanted to dynamically load classes/jar files on a per Thread basis?

    Thanks to everyone - I got it working!
    First, BenSchulz' s dumpClassLoader() method helped me to visualize the classLoader hierarchy. I am still not completely sure I understand why my initial class was always found by the systemClassLoader, but knowning that - was the step I needed to find the solution.
    Second, kdgregory suggested that I use a "glue class". I thought that I already was using a "glue class" because I did not have any JMSClient specific classes exposed to the rest of the application. They were all handled by my QueueAdmin class. However...
    The real problem turned out to be that my two isolating classes (the parent "MessageSender", and the child "QueueAdmin") were contained within the same jar file that was included in the classpath. This meant that no matter what I did the classes were loaded by the systemClassLoader. Isolating them in classes was just the first step. I had to remove them from my jar file and create another jar file just for those JMSClient specific classes. Then this jar file was only included int custom classLoader that I created when I wanted to instantiate a JMSClient session.
    I had to create an interface in the primary jar file that could be loaded by the systemClassLoader to provide the stubs for the individual methods that I needed to call in the MessageSender/QueueAdmin Classes. These JMSClient specific classes had to implement the interface so as to provide a relationship between the systemClassLoader classes and the custom classLoader classes.
    Finally, when I loaded and instantiated the JMSClient specific classes with the custom classLoader I had to cast them to the interface class in order to make the method calls necessary to send the messages to the individual JMS Servers.
    psuedu code/concept ....
    Primary Jar File   -  Included in ClassPath
    Class<?> cls = ClassLoader.loadClass( "JMSClient.MessageSender" )
    JMSClientInterface jmsClient = (JMSClientInterface) cls.newInstance()
    jmsClient.sendMessage()
    JMSClient Jar File  -  Loaded by Custom ClassLoader Only
    MessageSender impliments Primary.JMSClientInterface{
        sendMessage() {
            Class<?> cls=ClassLoader.loadClass( "JMSClient.QueueAdmin" )
            QueueAdmin queueAdmin=(QueueAdmin) cls.newInstance()
            queueAdmin.JMSClientSpecificMethod()
        }
