SWAPPED MY OLD NUMBER to Bt 1 week ago several issues when i signed up I only had my old email address so bt send me messages on that can i change it to my new bt address so bt send me emails to my old address which i cannot read on bt mail
2nd point why do i have to login each time? i have not logged in in years

I have not been able to get incoming calls since i joined up
BT is a nightmare to deal with trying to register a fault means wasting hours it does not recognize my phone number so i get nowhere and it all loops around again
Switching to BT looks a big mistake i have had more problems since 2nd sept than in a lifetime with other providers

  • Blank e-mail trouble continues

I got the newest iOS 4.3.2. in my iPhone 4 and also in iPad 1 and the same blank e-mails trouble continues with the both. Has anybody resolved this problem permanently? I really have tried everything that you can find in the internet, but all these answers gives help only for a short time and then it comes back. Really annoying and I can not understand why Apple can not resolve this problem.

    Hi Sri,
The approvers are getting blank mail because you have ticked on checkbox for Other approvers in Notification configuration in Stage under workflow and no text message is maintained for Next Approver tab.
There are two solutions available for your case:
    1) Remove tick from checkbox against other approvers in notification configuration under tab--Stage, in workflow configuration.  By doing this email will not be triggered to any approvers.
    Better soution will be
    2) You can write the text message as you want to apper under the tab Next Approver in Stage configuration for respective stages under workflow configuration which will then received by approvers instead of the blank mail.
Hope this will resolve your issue.
    Regards,
    Jwalant

  • Two macs. Mail trouble

    Hello there.
I use two macs, one at home and another in my office, under one apple id. Im trying to use mail.app with two mail accounts (corporate, not gmail or similar). So, i create both accounts on my office mac and it's work ok - i can receive and send mail. Later, at home, i can see the same accounts already setted. But the trouble is i cant send mair from home. Can receive, but can't send. Both SMTP servers is offline. I'll check all settings in System Preferences-Internet Accounts and in the Mail it's ok and exactly the same as at my office mac. I'm trying recreate accounts from System preferences and from Mail.app - nothing changes, i'm still have offline SMTPs, while it's ok at my office.
What i need to do to have both macs work ok?

  • Mail: trouble with threads

I have been having some odd problems with Mail.app for the last day or so, and I haven't had luck finding anything online that seems to indicate similar problems. I'm running Tiger (10.4.6) on a Powermac G5.
I was fiddling with Mail last night, including adding a fourth account (gmail pop access) to check. I tried to change the icon on Mail, and the icon I mistakenly pasted in through the "Get Info" window was stuck there -- couldn't click on it to paste over it. Unable to find any similar problems online, I used Pacifist to reinstall Mail from my Tiger CD.
Since then, though, mail has been acting pretty wacky. When I click on threads to expand them, sometimes they expand, but usually they don't. I was able to uncheck "View Messages in Threads" (and thus get to my mail) in a couple mailboxes, but not in all. Often, when I switch mailboxes, the mailbox I switch into will appear empty and even say across the top, "0 messages, 1 unread." When I close the viewer window and open a new one, it will show all my messages again and correctly indicate, "32 messages, 1 unread." When I try to quit mail, it basically freezes up -- I can use the rest of my computer, but about a half hour passed after one time I told Mail to quit and Mail was still chugging along. It seems like if I can avoid clicking on threads, I can avoid these problems for the most part -- though, as I said, it won't always let me get out of thread view.
A few somewhat similar problems I read about online led people to suggest using Disk Utility to repair the hard disk. I tried doing that, and the things it listed highlighted in red/green included:
    Incorrect number of thread records
    Volume bitmap needs minor repair
    Invalid free block count
    Repairing volume
The volume Tanooki could not be repaired
Then it gave me an error message that said:
    First Aid Failed
Disk Utility stopped repairing "Tanooki" because the following error was encountered:
The underlying task reported failure on exit.
Since then, I have also had trouble deleting mail. It often sits where it is, despite my attempts to delete, but it seems like it does find its way to the trash eventually; it just doesn't tell me right away, and sometimes I go back to find that it says it "hasn't been downloaded" (a problem normally associated with Panther to Tiger installs, I guess, though I did a full erase and install about a year ago).
There are so many variables above that I'm not even sure where to start. I've received advice elsewhere that I should be using Disk Warrior rather than Disk utility, but honestly, if the disk repair issue is less pressing than the issues with using Mail, it can wait. I appreciate any input you might have to offer. Thanks very much,
    Jason
Powermac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   Running Tiger about a year now

I used Pacifist to reinstall Mail from my Tiger CD.
Since then, though, mail has been acting pretty wacky.
Why am I not surprised? The version of Mac OS X on your Tiger install disks is probably earlier than the version you're using, which means Mail is probably out-of-sync with the rest of the system now.
A few somewhat similar problems I read about online
led people to suggest using Disk Utility to repair
the hard disk. I tried doing that,
You must repair whatever filesystem issues you have. If Disk Utility cannot repair them as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
then read the "Disk Utility cannot repair the disk" section of the following article for additional guidance and links to more powerful (third-party, not free) disk utilities:
Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption
The less you play with files until the issues are fixed, the better. After having fixed all filesystem issues, you should reinstall the Mail application using your Tiger installation disks as described here:
Custom installs in Mac OS X 10.4
If the version of the system software on your installation disks is earlier than what you're using now, then you must reinstall the appropriate system update afterwards, using the Combo installer, to bring the Mail application back in sync with the rest of the system:
Mac OS X 10.4.6 Combo Update for PPC
If you had installed a Security Update meant for the version of Mac OS X you're using, you'll have to reinstall it as well:
Security Update 2006-003 Mac OS X 10.4.6 Client (PPC)
if the disk repair issue is less pressing
than the issues with using Mail, it can wait.
You cannot wait. You must repair the filesystem issues before trying to fix anything else.

  • Voice mail troubles

When People call me or when I try to retrieve my voice mails all anyone hears in a busy signal, there are other phones on my plan and they have no troubles. Help!

Call customer service - it sounds like you never set up your voicemail or it was never activated. A quick call to customer service should resolve this . . .

  • IPod Touch wifi exchange mail troubles

    Hi
I have a iPod touch 32Gb with 3.1.2 firmware and I am having trouble with the wifi. The exchange mail works fine and dandy until I put my works proxy details into the wifi config. Once the settings are put in the exchange mail doesnt work !!
When I had my old iPod touch with 2.2.1 everything worked like a charm..
    Any ideas ??
P.S Also my iPhone does the same
    Many Thanks in advance

I got mine working finally. It turned out to be a problem on the Exchange end. My account had an alias. The long ID I normally used was different than the account ID.
As for iPod configuration, I ended up using the Exchange Account set up. Everything was pretty much the basic stuff. The only thing I had to watch out for in the Advanced tab was the port setting. Our outgoing server used a different port than the Apple default. I didn't have to touch the IMAP Patah Prefix. Also, does your Exchange server require IMAP over SSL? If so, is that certificate valid?

  • IPhone 2.0.1 software update -- mail troubles

Mail has slowed tremendously since downloading the 2.0.1 software update.
Sending and receiving mail on the iPhone is now VERY slow.
Phone mail and icon/application mail communicate VERY slowly. MobileMe mail seems largely unaffected.
    Please help!

Me too. I'm not finding any info on this one. Immediately after updating to 2.0.1 my mail stopped loading. The wheel just spins.

  • Mail trouble with outgoing mail server

For weeks now (relatively recent), MAC mail will not send consistantly. When I choose my outgoing mail server in the preferences panel and check "use only this server", Mail often will not send my message. If I leave that outgoing server as "none", my first outgoing message of the day will prompt me to choose one, and then subsequent messages are sent without asking. Inconvenient at the least - something's not right.
    Any help?

    Thanks for response.
I have deleted ALL accounts (to start fresh) but the unused outgoing servers 'refuse' to leave
I want to delete them to keep things tidy, also I have issues with using alternate outgoing server (next issue), so trying to start from the beginning again, before attempting to address next issue.

  • New Mac, Mail Troubles

Just bought a new Mac and set up the mail application with my Gmail account. The only problem is, it's attempting to download every single email I've ever received. Needless to say I do NOT want this. How to I do so?
Also, I should note that I also have an older Mac which I sync with using MobileME. I have already specified that I wanted Mail accounts to sync.

Obviously your Gmail account is being accessed as IMAP, and in the Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced you have likely selected to keep copies of all messages and their attachments for Offline Viewing? Thus, since with IMAP the Inbox and Sent reside on the server (and thus contain all the messages) this setting will cause Mail to download them all the keep the copies. Set this up to not keep copies, and only the list of the messages will be downloaded.
Also you can choose to not subscribe to the All Mail folder on the Gmail server. If not familiar with how to do this, do a Google search with Gmail and Advanced IMAP Controls. To enable this particular exclusion, sign on to your Gmail account, click on Settings, then on Labs, and enable advanced IMAP control. Once that is done, you can then click on Labels tab in Settings and make some selections about excluding certain folders.
The MobileMe sync feature applies only to account setup info, addressbooks, and not messages. With IMAP accounts it is their nature to sync to each computer that accesses them, while with POP, the sync feature will not sync the messages themselves.

  • Mail troubles

Mail has been very unresponsive as of late. It just spins and it is loading plain messages very slow. I have to force quit several times a day. Is there any fix to keep mail running smooth?

Is your OS detail accurate - 10.4.0 or are you running the latest version which is 10.4.5?
Did you upgrade your iBook from Panther to Tiger or was Tiger pre-installed?

  • Apple Mail trouble.  Can't drag, can't delete.

All of a sudden yesterday, I couldn't drag emails to subordinate mail boxes.  Now, a day later, I can't even delete emails to the trash.  I am running Apple Mail 7.1 and have OS X Mavericks version 10.9.1. and made no changes to settings or updates prior to this problem.  I tried clearing browser history and the downloads window and that didn't help.  Help, please.

Sorry to hear you had the same problem, dannymo54 but I hope you don't give up.  I finally called Apple support and they said there was a current "issue" affecting Apple mail.  She said to wait a day or two and use iCloud mail (through the Safari browser) in the meantime.  Two days later, Apple Mail started working properly for me.  Go figure.  It left me wondering if I was one of the few or if millions were affected.  Guess I'll never know.

    1. Make sure internet is working (try safari and browse pages)
    2. see if you can access this account via web and/or computer
    3. check your mail server names and ports (unless you add new yahoo account from selection)
    4. check password

  • Mail: trouble creating subfolder for some mailboxes (pop ones?)?

I am trying to create a subfolder in mail for a pop account. I click on the mailbox I want to create a subfolder for. I click on the "+" at the bottom of the sidebar and choose "new mailbox" and then create new mailbox window pops up, but it doesn't include the mailbox I want to use as a choice to create a subfolder for. It wants to put it in the "on my mac" mailbox. I can easily create subfolders for my gmail accounts, but it won't let me for my three "pop" accounts. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!
