when trying to run the startpage of e-recruiting (Webdynpro for ABAP) I get the following error:

Dear,
I believe that you are accessing the application through sicf , under
default_host->sap->bc->erecruiting,
So this is not the correct way.
If you want to access the WebDynpro application, Select the registration link, then the application would
launch for Candidate Registration (if your cofiguration is fine). You can check through se80 with the package PAOC_RCF_UI_SELF_SERVICES all the webdynpro related applications would be there.
If you want to access BSP application please use rcf_generate_url
program for generating the URL.
You can also have a look at the note 1017866 also.

This exception will occur only when relation ship between CP pertaining to BP, US ,NA get mismatch . Please check your report is creating relation ship properly for a candidate details .

E-Recruiting Request Questionnaire

We are exploring the Request Questionnarie functionlaity with SAP E-Recruiting.
We are currently on E-Recruiting 6 with Enhancement Pack 3 SP level 5 with Netweaver 2004s (7.0) (support pack stack 20).
There is an e-mail that goes out when a recruiter requests that a candidate complete the questionnaire. The first thing we noticed is that this e-mail had our backend server name (e.g., prdsapsv99.ornl.gov) in it instead of our web dispatcher name (e.g., recruiting.ornl.gov). Like the POSTING_APPLY application, this required we put information into table HTTPURLLOC. We did this for QA_EMAIL_E and QA_EMAIL_I. Then the e-mail with attached PDF had a link that correctly pointed the web dispatcher.
We have a problem with the PDF document displaying a URL over three lines but only underlining the first line. This was described in a different SDN forum [posting|Re: Displaying Hyperlink in Smartform;.
Everything works for internal candidates (i.e., employees). One thing we are currently working on is the logon for the external candidates. When they use the questionnaire link in the PDF, we get a short dump that says something about RABAX_STATE. We have modified the /sicf services for hrrcf_a_qa_email_ext and hrrcf_a_qa_email_int, but this is just to redirect the user to our custom logon screen.
Anyone else using the Request Questionnaire functionality in this way? Anyone who has encountered this error?

One other thing to note is that our external users are not dialog users. We have them set up as service accounts since they should never need to log into the GUI. But switching the user to a dialog user makes the error go away and the application work.

Error while accessing recruiter tab in Erecruit module

Hi All,
We are using ECC 6.0 HCM along with eRecruiting and LSO. Since yesterday while trying
to access eRecruitement pages, I have been getting this error 'Internal Error has occurred. Please try again later'. There is no error code associated with it and I dont really know if this error is due to some eRecruiting problem or is it a generic portal error. Any help on this is highly appreciated.

I have checked the JCo connection everything seems to be working fine.......because for this particular application it is giving this error otherwise for rest of the application no error is coming ......after clicking Recruiter tab i am getting this error.

E-Recruiting BSP iView errors in the Enterprise Portal.

I am trying to get my e-Recruiting BSP applications to work correctly in the Portal. But unfortunatley I consistently get this error message.
The following error text was processed in the system:

Obviously the BSP iView is configured wrong. Have closer look at the URLs:
BSP in native browser:
https://snocfrd1.myco.org/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_int/<b>application.do?rcfLogAppl=SEARCH_JOBS</b>
BSP in Portal:
/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_int<b>/application.do/start?...</b>
Obviously the iView contains a parameter start or you defined the BSP application name as application.do/start

E-Recruiting 3. 0 IT0001 of Internal Candidate Not Displayed

The E-Recruiting system is running on the same instance. I have
copied internal candidates using report HR_SYNC_PERSON. As per IMG notes, the following infotypes are copied: IT0000, IT0001, IT0002, IT0006, IT0105. I can display all the other infotypes in E-Recruiting via Data Overview except for IT0001. Where do I display that information in E-Recruiting.

Hi,
first of all, you never modify the SAP data overviews. As you can customize any customer smartform which has the same interface as the original one from sap via IMG, you define your own and put it into the customizing.
To determine additional information you use the initialization of your customer smartform as the interface is fixed. For your information you will need cl_hrrcf_employee method get_positions to get the position list for the candidate (always keep in mind that a person can be assigned to several positions at the same time!).
Then you use cl_hrrcf_oi_bl to get the related objects to the position and all the texts you need.

Problem in Create Requisition Request E-recruitment

Hi,
I have configured the standard workflow WS45600028 for the E-recruitment process in HR administration services and able to trigger the workflow successfully when I create requisition in the portal.
But the workflow fails at the first step 'Import the form data' since the method CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS-->DATAMAPPING)raises an exception when there are no entries in table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
The case configuration is absolutely fine but yet am unable to figure out why any entries aren't created in the table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
How the first entries are created in table T5ASRSCENARIOS? Is it through customising?

Exceptional Handling in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I have enhaced the std WDA component FITV_VC_COST_ASSIGNMENT, to check if user has selected a valid company code on the screen, if not then I need to display a error message as "Invalid Company code", thought I am able to do so but the message that pop ups on the screen as "WebDynpro Exception: Invalid Company Code", and I just want "Invalid Comapny Code".
How to remove this "WebDynpro Exception" from the message.
It is possible to do so ,if yes please provide me some valuable help and if not then let me know as well.
My code snippet is
if lv_bukrs ne lv_comp_code.
RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE cx_wd_general
EXPORTING
textid = cx_wd_general=>cx_wd_general
msg = lv_mesg.
endif.
where lv_mesg is my custom message to display.lv_bkrs is company code of the employee and lv_comp_code is the company code he has selected on the screen.

Hi,
I am sure that exception that is coming "webdynpro Exception: invalid company code" should be coming from the standard WD framework, i mean some kind of data validation for the domain you have chosen, as it is normal with some date data types we see!!!!
so if this is coming from the standard domain checks then you should use if_wd_validaton interface and its methods to suppress that standard message and then raise your own messages as it is suggested in earlier replies, even i am not sure what is the dump you are talking here.

Recruiting problem with the candidate search by trex with questionnaires

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to search candidates using trex in recruiting by candidate_questionnaires but the trex does not show any result. How can I solve it?
When candidates register theirselves on internet, they complete questionnaires that I have added in the apllication wizard.
But the problem starts when I want to search candidates by the answers that they have complete in this questionnaire. So I select the criteria search candidate questionnaire, then I select the questionnaire and then the answer and I run the searh. I know that the results shown are always about others requisitions and not the one that I am doing the search. But in my case candidates are assigned in other requisition with the same process template so I do not know where is the problem, because other sort of search works fine. This is the only one that it does not work.
In addition, I have run the report RCF_CHECK_SEARCH_SETTINGS but the result is that all the parameters are fine except that I have not implement the badi HRAHAP00_FOLLOW_UP_SES. May I have to implement?
Moreover I have seen that when I select the answer to search, any operator (element of selection mask) is assigned but I have read that it is correct because I am using the search profile "int_cand" with the category "candidate_document" that it use in the mask search candidate_questionnaire.
In conclusion, I don't know how I can solve this problem with trex? Any idea?

Unable to access E-Recruiting Start Pages Externally

Hello,
Im hoping for some assistance with an E-Recruiting issue (standalone system; Version 3.0). We are currently only able to access the start pages while inside of our network, and receive a page cannot be displayed message while outside of our network. This is with the exception of the candidate registration page. We can successfully register, and then pass on to the main E-Recruiting start page for an external candidate.
The hrrcf_start_int bsp/service is used to call the start page for registered internal candidates, recruiters, and administrators (different view for each). The hrrcf_start_ext bsp/service is used to call the start page for registered external candidates. And, the hrrcf_cand_reg bsp/service is used to access the external candidate registration page.
The URLs for the start pages were created using program RCF_GENERATE_URLS.   We are requiring all traffic be routed through our WebDispatcher, and all traffic be HTTPS, so the URLs start out with https://recruiting.... Our E-Recruiting system is actually careers, but again, we want all traffic to go through our WebDispatcher, which is recruiting.
We have created external aliases in transaction SICF for all three URLs, and using the alias, I can successfully login to all pages within our network.   When I test the external aliases within SICF, I get an internal error (The user is not assigned a candidate or an employee) for the hrrcf_start_int and hrrcf_start_ext services. When I test the external alias for hrrcf_cand_reg, it is successful.
When I test the hrrcf_start_int service within SICF, I get the logon page, but after logging on, I get message Name of logical port&&lp_named is invalid. When I test the hrrcf_cand_reg service, it is successful.
When I test the hrrcf_start_int and hrrcf_start_ext BSPs in SE80, I receive an Internet Explorer cannot display page message.   The same is true for the hrrcf_cand_reg. However, it is trying to access http://recruiting instead of https://recruiting. I can see that URL address in the application.do Controller, but have no idea where to change it, because it is greyed out (any help with this would be appreciated as well.)
We have created internal users using program RCF_CREATE_USER, and when I look at transaction BP, I see that it is creating a business partner for each user.
We have had SAP tell us that it is not a WebDispatcher issue, and we have also confirmed that it is not a firewall issue.
It seems interesting to me that we can only get to the one page that does not first require authentication. If anyone has any information that would be helpful, I would appreciate your time.

Hello Leeanna,
quite a lot of topics and doing remote analysis for netwok issues is difficult.
Some ideas:
- starting hrrcf_start_ext / hrrcf_start_int via SICF or SE80 will never be successful as these applications need parameters. The message you got when testing startpage from SICF is classical for invalid startpage Id
- if you do not reach pages from outside, check network traffic / access rights in firewalls. Usually the sap server name cannot be resolved through a dns for an outside call as you companies dns is not visible for internet users. You will need a relay.
- check that full qualified server name is set on the server
- check eeb infrastructure that it allows the access protocoll. If ICF service says http but firewall only allows https you won't get a responde. Sometime switching protocolls within the request produces problems.
- WebDispacher is known for eating parameters / url parts. Try to get your hands on the traces of the requests which really reach the server.
- if possible supply some more information on release & support package level. E.g. there is a support package which has an error that if you activate 'do not show https warning' in an icf service it does not only hide the warning but the whole logon screen :o(

WebDynpro Exception: ADS: Request start time, start Interactive Form

Hello everybody,
I tried out to display an interactive form in Web Dynpro for ABAP like in Thomas Jungs video described. But I when I start my application I get everytime the dump.
I read not 944221 and and thats works all. But when I try the testprogram with my form I get the dump, too.
So any help for me?

EREC : Recruiter Dash Board- My applications.

Hi,
We are on E-Rec EHP4.
While an external Candidate applies to a requisition via Reference code and as a recruiter when we check on My Applications in Dashboard. It shows most of the information except "CV" with an error message
"Not all information could be read for an entry"
Would appreciate any quick help on identifying what could be the reason for the same to happen.

Could Some one please help me with this problem:
I created an abap webdynpro application, that uses the ui element "interactive form". When ever i set the property "enabled" in the property section of this ui element and then try to run the web dynpro app, the above mentioned error always comes up.
If the property "enabled" is not set the pdf shows up in my web browser( internet explorer), but i need to have the pdf to be interactive.
I checked the abap dump in transaction st22 and got the following information:
1. The exception was raised in this method:
    method RAISE .
        DATA: error TYPE STRING.
        error = MSG_STRING( msg = msg a = a b = b c = c i = i j = j k = k ).
        RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE CX_WD_GENERAL EXPORTING msg = error.
   endmethod.
2. The contents of the system fields when this error occured:
    sy-title = HTTP Control

You can use the program FP_PDF_TEST_00 to do this. The program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE must also run successfully (both with and without the checkbox selected on the selection screen). If this program does not run successfully, there is a error in the configuration.
