Earphones broke, want replaced.. But they want my iPod and 149$?!

So my earphones broke.. Right ear is dead silent. And yes, I'm certain they're broke, I've tested it. So yea, they are kinda new and I've treated them nicely, so I was hoping I could get them replaced. So I got to this repair support thing, and I can't find any "Earphones" product. So I trid my iPod Touch, and yes! I can choose "No audio in one of the channels" and "Earphones with remote and mic".. Seems great! BUT! Then there's this "Give us 149$ >:(!!!" fee, so Apple wont get screwed over and loose stuff. But it's my earphones that are broke, NOT my iPod? And the earphones cost like.. 30$ themselves, so that seems kinda odd. And yes, I know I'll (properly) get the money back, but still... I haven't entered my creditcard information, as I'm afraid I'm gonna have to send my iPod as well, and I DON'T want a new iPod, nor do I want everything deleted...
Sooo... Anyone knows anything about this? Do I NEED to send my iPod as well, as it seems the fee is based on the iPod, and well, it's as I wanted support for my iPod, which I actually don't.

just saw this here. i had bought 2 ipod touches 1 for me and a friend last october and this time around both our headphones with remote and mic are busted. right ear no sound. i guess due to the remote it is more likely to be damaged in such a short time of use. good thing that it's still under warranty.
if you have an apple store there near you, you can bring the headphone and your unit and if less than a year bring your receipt. they will honor this and you can have a new set of earphones at no addtl price in 1 to 2 weeks. no need to ship your earphone.

Please explain in clear english as to what is your requirement. I got lost after "two company user" . I suppose it means there are users from two separate company: A and B. They were using same portal till now: http://commonportal:50000/irj/portal.
Now they need different urls - specific for each company say companyAportal.com and companyBportal.com. But still the same old common portal in the end.
If that's your requirement please search the forum with correct terms, else "Google".

I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them. I can not click on those songs, delete or anything and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone. I tried to re-add the songs and it says it can't add songs because they've already been added. So HOW can I get the songs to actually ADD to my phone to where I can listen to them? It's like they're stuck in Sync limbo or something! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

I've been using LR with my Nikon D3200 for a year or so. Shooting in RAW/NEF no issues with import etc until I updated LR and now I can't get LR to allow me to select when I try to import. It does show the images but they're grayed out and not able to be selected. Any thoughts? TIA
Greyed imaged in the Import dialog box mean you have already imported the photos into Lightroom, so there is no need and no benefit to importing them a second time.
Just go to the Library module, search for the desired photos, and resume working on these photos. -

my iphone 5s was stolen and i gps d it and found where it was but they turned it off and denied it and i googled how to open iphone 5s without passcode and a youtube video showed how, so now i am out of a phone that i just paid 300 dollars for because i dropped my last 5s and the glass shattered and i didnt have any insurance. so now it seems like i am out again. i was sold on the fact that the fingerprint sensor would stop that from happening but they can just reset the phone and have it as theirs new. is there anything i can do to get my phone back.

Besides the ethical and professional issues involved, the iPad appears to be linked to a different iTunes account than your personal one. Applications are tied to the account, not the device - so if you were able to use your personal account to install the apps in question, you'd be wiping out all the ones your employer put on.
If you feel these apps are necessary for your work, then talk to your supervisor/tech department about them purchasing additional copies for use on the iPad. -
I have downloaded itunes songs into my library and now I want to import them into my Adobe Premiere Elements DVD program. When I did it before, they were already .wma files, now they are MP4 files and they won't go. How do I change these MP4 files into .wma files?
You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

I am trying to get a copy of OS X 10.9 Mavericks but its no longer available on App Store etc. I've been to two Apple Resellers and they just try and push Yosemite which seems to have terrible reviews. I tried contacting APple several times just to be told they want £25 to ask where I can download it from? Can anyone help?
There are bad reviews of every single major and minor update OS release Apple has ever created. I switched from Mavericks to Yosemite as soon as 10.10.2 was released, which fixed a good number of minor bugs. It's stable and faster than any version of OS X I've ever used.
Do not for a moment even consider getting Mavericks from any third party source. Not for $10, not for free. There's no way of knowing what malware may have been added to the installer.
