EASY VPN hardware client not working.

I'm experiencing an issue. I have the following topology:
192.168.12.0 /24 --- inside192.168.12.1(ASA5502)192.168.1.71 dhcp ---192.168.1.254 ISP GATEWAY ===201.144.194.226 PEER --Inside 192.168.0.0
I have VPNCLIENT configured correctly but can't seem to pass traffic or get the tunnel up. I'm attaching debug crypto isakmp 10, debug crypto ipsec 10, logging debug messages. Also find the config attached.
I'm trying to reach from 192.168.12.10 to a server 192.168.1.200 on remote.
Running version 8.2(5)
Any idea of what i have configured wrong?

Couple of quick comments:
1. I do not see 192.168.0.0 part of that inside_outbound_nat0_acl ACL.
2. I see a crypto map instance 40 with "incomplete" crypto map, which is actually missing a match address.

! Incomplete
Not sure if this is the current configuration from the pix. If there is a crypto map instance with a incomplete match address, all traffic will be encrypted.

I have just upgraded to Lion and now my VPN connection does not work properly. It was working fine when I was using Leopard. The VPN is My Private Network and we use it to link to BBC iPlayer when abroad. It will actually connect to the VPN site and shows a UK IP address, but then when we try to load an iPlayer programme we get the message from the BBC that we are not in the country and, therefore, cannot access the site. Any suggestions?

How can apple send out an os update that renders an important function of the software/hardware to not work? They knowingly have sent out this new os update for iPad which makes airplay nonfunctining! I need this for my business! I could understand if they didn't know, but it is all over the Internet! When I went in to have it revert back to os6 (which worked fine!) I was actually asked if I had done any research before I installed the upgrade! As if this is the consumer's fault for being dumb enough to fall for the upgrade!
That is not what I have discovered, nor what others have discovered, nor what I was told when I went the Genius Bar. I cannot remotely mirror to my MacBook Pro and it only started the day after I installed the upgrade. We tested it with an iPad that had not been upgraded, no problem.

[T400] Cisco VPN client not working over wireless adapter (but works on cabled connection)
I have a very strange problem.
I need to connect to my work via the cisco vpn client (version 5.0.00.0340).
My previous laptop (T43 , windows XP) worked well through both wired / wireless connections. My desktop machine (vista) works via wired connection (it has no wireless connection).
On my new T400, the VPN client works via a wired connection but not via the wireless adapter.
On the wireless apapter, the vpn seems to connect OK, but when I try to access resources via the VPN there is little response.
I get this in the vpn log...

I've tried disabling the firewall (in both the T400 and the router), removed access connections, and disabling tcp v6. I've rebooted everything too.
But, nothing seems to work. I suspect the problem is on the t400 somewhere, because the old laptop used to work OK via wireless.
I've seen some google links on cisco vpn not working via wireless but nothing seems to apply to my exact situation yet.
Anyone else had this problem or know of a fix? Thanks in advance.

Go to Solution.all good now, got it working.
The Deterministic network thing was not installed on the wireless adapter for some reason.
So, I installed the latest wireless driver, reinstalled the vpn and all is good now. -
Zone Base Forewall for VPN connections does not work after IOS upgrade

We use cisco router 2911 as corporate gateway - there is Zone Based Firewall implemented - I upgraded IOS to last version (15.2(2)T1) - originaly version 15.1(4)M1 - to solve issue with Anyconnect connections (bug CSCtx38806) but I found that after upgrade the VPN users are not able to communicate with sources in other zones.

In the policy any connection is allowed (used inspection of icmp, tcp and udp) from INSIDE zone to VOICE or LAB zone
After VPN connection I am able to reach resources in INSIDE zone (which is the most important), but not in other zones. Before upgrade it worked.
Once I changed zone in Virtual-Template interface to VOICE, I was able to reach sources in VOICE zone but not in any other. I searched more and found the stateful firewall is not working for connections from VPN as ping is blocked by policy on returning way - it means by policy VOICE->INSIDE, once I allowed communication from "destination" zone to INSIDE zone - the connections started to work, but of cause it is not something I want to setup.
Does anybody has the same experiance?

PavelIt seems to me I should add one importatant note - if client is connected directly in INSIDE zone, he can reach resources in other zones without any issue - so the problem is only when the client is connected by VPN - not in ZBF policy setup.

RV082 - SRP527W - VPN behind NAT not working
Hello,
I've really strange behaviors with my routers. We managed to get things running but once a week, the VPN link is down.
The connection is not restart, both routers shows "connected" but are not, and we had to click on "disconnect" to get the link back.
That was before an update in our infrastructure. Now, both routers are behind routers, so both NAT.
Now, the connection works for some time, but once a week, the link disconnected but i'm unable to get it back ! NOTHING works.
Last time, i spent 2Hours to configure the link again, setting the same parameters almost 10 time, and suddenly by magic, the 11st time it worked again. I read many people have troubles with RVXXX firmware so i don't know what to think.
Anyway, my BIG concern now, is that the link is down again, and it has been 6hours since we can't got it back. I restarted the routers many times, i've made some changes in the configuration, but if it worked, why should i modify it ?????? Why is it not working anymore ?
The log for the RV082 is almost empty about the link. Here's a snippet :

Please help me to get things sorted. I just don't understand why nothing is written in the log about the SRP trying to make a connection. I also don't understand why suddenly the link is broken, and without changing anything, it can't get it back normally !!

Samir, i rebooted all the routers dozens of time when that happened, and it doesn't changed anything. Anyway, i called the Cisco Hotline. They could connect by VPN to RV082, but not the SRP, they didn't know why. Hardware or software failure.
Anyway, i bought another router.
Now i would like to use the SRP527W as a WIFI hotspot only. It doesn't work.
My settings are :
- Router defined as BRIDGE only (using Port lan 4 as Ethernet WAN)
- WAN Interface is assigned 192.168.0.246 / 24
- Gateway for the WAN interface is 192.168.0.254
- Ethernet cable is plugged from LAN4/WAN to my new Modem/Router on LAN3.
- Port LAN2 of SRP527W is defined with VLAN IP Address 192.168.15.254.
When connected to the SRP527W on LAN2, from my computer (192.168.15.200), i can't ping 192.168.0.246 neither 0.254 (gateway is set to 15.254)
Still, when connected to the SRP527W and with the Ping Dagnosis interface, pinging "192.168.0.254" shows "timed out".
I tried almost every configuration, none worked.
Please note that when connected from my computer directly to my new modem/router on port LAN3, with IP Address 192.168.0.200, i can access internet and ping everything. When set as DHCP too, i can grab an IP Address from my DHCP Windows Server.
So, why is the SRP527W unable to work in this configuration ? it seems nothing pass through WAN port.
If i'm right, there is only the WAN port that should be plugged to my modem router. With this settings, SSID should go directly to Internet, and for the other SSID, my LAN (through the modem/router). However, it doesn't work.

Client not working after upgrade
Hi,
I am upgrading my SAP 8.8 SP:00 Pl 10 to PL 16. with the help of upgrade wizard all the SAP items are upgraded from PL 10 to Pl 16.
When i was login in through SAP client it asked for upgrade i clicked yes after some time the upgrade stop and the SAP client logo on the server disappear. Now i am not able to login since there is no client to login.
I tried to install client from set up file but it gives following error
Error Number: 0x80040702
Description: Failed to load Dll: creator Dll
I have refered SAP Note: 1408662 and also refered other thread but its not working
I tried to uninstall client from add/ remove program but i am not able to do so

Macbook dies after 2008-005 security update: even hardware test not working
My Macbook no longer boots after installing security update 2008-005. Behaves as if HD is dead, AND as if boots from SuperDrive are broken too.
Sequence of events:
1. 10.5.4, Software Update notifies me of update.
2. I permit it. Immediately requires a reboot.
3. Go away for several hours.
4. Upon return, I notice the Leopard outer-space background.
5. Spinning beachball when I move the mouse.
6. Go away for several minutes.
7. Return. No change. Power down computer.
OK ... by now, you may be saying that it might still have been updating and I shouldn't have interrupted it.
But since then, the machine behaves not only like the disk is dead, but I can't even get a hardware test to run from DVD.
So, to continue.
8. Start machine again. Apple boot sound. Nothing on screen.
9. After a while, flashing "folder" icon with question mark.
Since then I've attempted to boot in safe mode, verbose mode, FireWire target disk mode (against a 10.4.x box), boot from original install disk, boot into hardware test mode from original install disk. None of these things worked. I've reset the PRAM.
The only diagnostic activity of all of these that has produced any different feedback is the PRAM reset (which sounded the Apple boot sound a second time). Everything else does not work. If the HD was dead, I could understand that none of the attempts to boot into FireWire target disk mode, or to boot from DVD and then expect to see the HD mount in some way, would work. But since it doesn't even boot the hardware test from the DVD, I'm really baffled. Any ideas? Thanks.Well, my solution was to buy DiskWarrior and copy what I could (which was a lot, thankfully) to a FireWire external disk, then reinstall. DiskWarrior reports S.M.A.R.T. status OK, so I've gone with a fresh partition in Disk Utility and successfully installed 10.4 from the original DVDs.
Have also run Apple Hardware Test and had no problems, so I've decided to trust the drive in the short term.
Unfortunately, now, 10.5 upgrade disks won't finish and guess what ... a partial install of 10.5 breaks the 10.4! So, the machine has a recognizable startup disk but justs sits in a loop rebooting itself, presumably as it hits some inter-10.4/10.5 state and gives up.
Next up I tried to restore my 10.5 from a wired ethernet connection to my Time Capsule. Having never once been able to browse my backups in Time Machine under 10.5, I was somewhat surprised to find that the 10.5 Installer was happy to let me try a restore from the Time Capsule. It crunched away until it was happy that I had enough space on my new partition, and then did what seemed a pretty instantaneous restore. The Macbook reboots and ... can't see the startup disk.
Maybe my disk really is on the way out. -
I have the Easy System Cleaner. It worked through Internet Explorer. But when it comes to Mozilla Foxfire. It stops.
The message is:

DCNM LAN JAVA Client Not working

Recently i installed the DCNM server , we are using nexus 7k in dc environment . I purchased the DCNM server license and assigned it to switches thourgh web dcnm client . Login in Java DCNM LAN is not working , It says check your username/password . Only with SAN its working Fine , Authetication to the dcnm is configured to check the TACACS server . Can you help on this.

Oracle 10g Client not working from Vista Business
Hi,
I have installed Oracle 10g Rel2 DB on my desktop (OS Vista Ultimate X64 bit) and try to connect from my new laptop (OS Vista business) after installing the client software which does not work, whereas I am able to connect to same database from my other laptop using Windows XP. The tnsnames.ora files on both laptops have the same contents. Moreover, the SQL Plus is also not working on the vista laptop, I mean when I try to login the window closes down itself it doesn't stay open even to give any error message. . . Any ideas would be a great help . . .thxDid you install the Vista specific Oracle client?

Hardware buffering not working on Win XP Pro
Card: Audigy 2 Platinum with latest drivers (02.09.006)
Latest DirectX 9.0c (directx_dec2006_redist.exe)
DxDiag DirectSound test passes ok, except that at the end gives:
"Your card does not support hardware buffering. Sounds will only play back from software buffers."
Tested on Win XP Pro SP2, hardware buffering worked ok.

Sound Test Result: All tests were successful.Just found that the problem is probably something with RAM configuration (motherboard problem).
I have 4GB RAM, with Memory Hole disabled in bios it works ok, but then only shows ~2.2GB. I only get 2GB in Win XP Pro SP2 with Memory Hole enabled (x64 is ok, 4GB). I think this option is not working properly.

Cs4 - hardware rendering not working
The checkbox is LOCKED and set to software render by default!
I have updated to Bridge CS4 and now the slideshow and dinamic zoom are not working smoothly as on CS3.
How can I set the checkbox to Hardware?

Bridge cs3 accepts render by hardware and it works smoothly!Ok, here is some detail info of the issue:
On my netbook: CPU=1.6ghz, RAM=2Gb, VGA=Intel500, SSD@60mb/s
- Bridge cs3 = Hardware Render = impressive response time. [way beyond 30fps]
- Bridge cs3 = Software Render = <10fps
- Bridge cs4 = Hardware Render = not available
- Bridge cs4 = Software Render = 2 or maybe 3fps (!!!) Its a huge diference!
Come on Adobe, a loot of computers are/will be shipping this graphic card!
Just release a patch for us. Or think about it on cs5.

Driver to email client not working
For my class we are attempting to write our own email client. Our professor gave us the following driver. However when I attempt to compile the driver I get these errors:
MailClient.java:125: cannot find symbol

connection.send(envelope);Admittedly it could be something with the SMPTConnection code, as that is what we had to write. However I would have expected it to throw some sort of exception in there and it does not. Any help to figure out why the driver is not working would be appreciatted.
