Eclipse + JCOP error??

Hi,
I kept getting the error:
"The project was not built due to "Could not delete: C:\eclipse\workspace\USIMApp\bin\uicc\toolkit\ViewHandler.class.". Fix the problem, then try refreshing this project and building it since it may be inconsistent" whenever I try to "Build All" the project.
I will then have to close Eclipse & delete the output bin folder manually, and then restart Eclipse again. Only then I can build again.
Anyone knows how to solve this nagging problem??
Many Thanks!!!
Eric

This shouldn't happen everytime. I sometimes stumble upon this problem, usually if Eclipse was not shut down cleanly and the builders are in an inconsistent state. If this happens all the time, I would file a bug report with the JCOP team.

    hello all,
I am using jcop tool plugin with eclipse and my atr is:-

I am using eclipse ide and jcop plugin, basically my problem is to building project when any changes occoured, initially when i start a new project with steps like:-
    1- java card project
    2-java applet
    3-package id
    4-applet id
    5-basic template of applet
    N- finish
    ok
then when screen open, at the left side i saw cap file propery window ,and automatically there are cap file in bin folder.
It means jcop tool used converter to make .cap file, but when i add some lines according to my requirment,
I am unable to build it again or unable to get a new cap file. May be i need to set some build path , but first time it automatically build so it also indicate that there are no need to set the build path. I am confused in this area.
Is i need to reference the path of converter.jar { jcdk 2.2.1 }? or jcop plugin also have the required jar for converting .class to .cap , inside it. how i rebuild it and make a new fresh .cap file.
some jar file which i paste in plugin folder of eclipse are:-
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.demopack_1.0.2.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.perftest_1.0.2.jar

com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse_3.1.1.a.jarbefore i was using JCDE plugin for simulation process but here i did not use JCDE, I have only eclipse + jcop plugin
I tried to tell you, what is my problem, If you still have any doubt , Let me know.
Waiting for your reply and thanks for your time ............

Thanks Umer for your suggestion , but i dont need to do this, It was my silly mistake to handle the things properly.
Initially i was unable to getting the eclipse and JCOP concept, but now i do. now I am able to build the project or eclipse is building it automatically !!!! I faced this problem b'se i am a newbie in java card. but now things going good to me.
I want to share my getting here:--
My dout was - Is jcop intially have all the Jar's , converter which is required to create a cap file????
My ans is - Yes, EVERYTHING IT HAVE INSIDE.
you just get eclipse ide and get jcop plugin, and paste jcop plugin jar's inside the plugin folder of ecipse and START ECLIPS AGAIN.
NOW EVERYTHING IS SET FOR YOU,
NO REQUIREMENT OF JCDE-java card development envoirnment
no requirement of jcdk- java card development kit ,
no requirement of set any build path in eclipse. just make your applet , and run with jcop tool.ECIPSE AUTOMATICALLY BUILD OPTION WILL CREATE A FRESH .CAP FILE WHENEVER U MADE A NEW CHANGES
    cheers!!!

  • I can not create interface [Eclipse - JCOP Tools Problem]

    Hello Dear All,
I have a problem about Eclipse and I want to demonstrate it with an example.Let's say there are two applets, called A and B. I want to share a function of A applet with B applet. To do it, I create an interface(File -> New -> Other -> Interface) and then, a problem occured. For all open projects in eclipse, eclipse shows this error message: "Unsupported Java compiler: Class files with version: 50.0 [Major.minor] are not yet supported by JCOP Tools."
I worked on this situation too much however I could not solve this problem, I need your help.
(I use last version of Eclipse and JCOP Tools)
    Thanks in Advance,
    Kindly Regards
    Selcuk

JCOP Tools does not support Java 6 yet. Reason is the CAP file converter. Just set the Java compiler compliancy in Eclipse to 1.5 and you should be fine.

  • Beginner! HelloWorld won't execute (Eclipse, JCOP)

    Hello,
I am about to get some insight into Java Card programming and try to get things to work!
My environment is Eclipse 3.6.2 and JCOP 3.3.2 on Win7 x64.
So I tried to execute a simple HelloWorld program (http://umer555.wordpress.com/2012/05/17/java-card-hello-world-applet/) and get the error:
    "+- /term "tcl:10"+
    +jcshell: Command </term> failed: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: com.ibm.jc.terminal.NativeJCTerminal.setup(Ljava/lang/String;I)V+
    +Unexpected error; aborting execution+"
So I guess something might be wrong with my card reader! In the run configurations I can only check the Philips Pegoda Reader but I am using an Omnikey CardMan (with up2date drivers)
So my big questions: what am I doing completely wrong here?
    Hope you can help me!

    The reader itself works!
I have another simple java project to find out if the connection works, but I simply don't know why I cannot run a Java Card project with the reader I installed and I cannot find any to "add" a new installed reader...

I have installed Eclipse 2.0 and WebLogic Server 6.1. and the WebLogc plug in from GENUITEC (and jdk1.3.1_04, on Win2K Server). After I have done the configuration, the WebLogic start/stop buttons are integried into the Eclipse Toolbar, but when I click on the start button to start Weblogic, it pops up a dialog box "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" with message: "Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"
Starting WebLogc Server from the Start panel works fine.
Does any one have seen this before or have a suggestion what I should do?
    Many many thanks in advance.

Weblogic must be started with a full JDK; otherwise
JSPs and dynamic EJB stubs could not be deployed. The
    error message
indicates you are attempting to use a JRE. Configure
Eclipse JRE to point to a JDK. The product
documentation will help you with this process. It does not work for me. :-(
I have tried JDK 1.3.1 and 1.4.1: same result: I get a "Could not find the main class: Program will exit"

  • Eclipse build error for R/3 WSDL file and Portal 6.0.2

I have had some problems getting a .wsdl from R/3 ABAP to work when using the eclipse plug-ins.  Eclipse will read the .wsdl and create the classes for the service, however, the build will fail and opening the class up you see the methods are all empty.
    public class P_YEAR {
         public P_YEAR () {}
I can get the new Netweaver developer tool for 6.4 to work on a new crash portal box running WAS 6.4 and portal 6.0.9.  I don't think our upgrade will be done before the current project I am on needs to move.  So, I am trying to get EP 6.2 to work.  Our ABAP engine will remain WAS 6.2.  I am using eclipse 2.1 and jdk 1.3.1_08.  I have tried jdk 1.4.  I have also tried eclipse 3.0, but the plug-ins don't even work in the new version.
    I am using plug-in version 6.2.20040517
Any ideas on what we are doing wrong.  The only note I saw from SAP was 705106.  However, it didn't seem to make since because the error is not in the portal it is locally when trying to use the plug-in to generate the service.

    Hi,
here an uodate of the progress I am making to solve the problem described above.
Due to the output of the logfile (User not authorized), I think the "Administration" user does not have enough rights to perform the required actions needed for the installation.
Well, I looked it up (Visual Administrator --> Cluster --> Server 0 ... --> Services --> Security Provider -->Runtime --> Policy Configurations --> "service.naming" in "Components" List --> Security Roles).
According to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_webas630/helpdata/en/de/83343ecc7f892ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm, all users and groups that are granted permission "jndi_all_operations"  can perform all operations available in the naming system.
I checked and found out that jndi_all_operations is merely a role reference to security role "administrators". Group "Administrators" is assigend to security role "administrator". As I mention before, user "Administrator" is member of group "Administrators". I think user "Administrator" has been granted all required permissions.
Am I wrong, what else could cause such an error message! Need some guideance.

  • Remote Debugging w/Eclipse Transport Error

I am requesting help on a problem I am encountering using remote debugging with eclipse and Weblogic 8.1.2. I have successfully used remote debugging in the past with other application servers, but I have been unsuccessful with Weblogic 8.1.
I have set the remote debugging options both on the weblogic start script as well as configured eclipse to connect to the port that was defined in the startup script (See Below). When I start the remote debugger within eclipse and it seems to connect properly. Once I set a break point or remove a break point, weblogic generates a "Transport error, error code = -1" and stops the debugger with in Eclipse.
At this point I am at a loss of what is causing this error. I would appreciate any help on this issue.
    Operating System: WindowsXP Pro
    Weblogic Version: 8.1.2
    Eclipse 3.2
    JDK 1.4.2
    JAVA_OPTS: =-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=7777,server=y,suspend=n

Interesting. I tried it and it works. you might want to check your Eclipse port number. In addition try netstat -a to see if port 1044 is active.

  • Eclipse oepe error when creating weblogic 10.3 server

Hi. (Hopefully this is the correct forum for Eclipse/oepe issues.)
When defining a new Weblogic server, I get the following error from the wizard upon entering the domain.
The server is invalid. Error occurred reading server credential. If the domain was recreated, the server instance in Workshop must also be recreated. Required classpath for credential detection is missing. Detection is disabled.
This happens regardless if I setup a new domain, or point it to the sample *...10.3/samples/domains/wl_server*.
    Please advise.
    Thanks

    Got it!
On my system I have several partitions with /tmp on one, and /opt which holds all my developer stuff on another.
Several Java programs have a problem (bug) attempting to move a file from /tmp to target, when target happens to be on another partition. (Depending on how the move is done.)
Several Eclipse modules also have this problem. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=239396
    Also explained here. http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=45011&tstart=0
(The OC4J team is well aware of this, since upon deploying an ejb project OC4J console displays something like "Can't move file from tmp, will COPY it instead.")
Today I tried a fresh install of WLS 10.3 and of OEPE to a new directory on the same partition as /tmp.
Voila! Everything works. It seems like the WLS installer and/or new domain wizard are bitten by this.

  • RH8 "Kindly generate WebHelp SSL layout" Eclipse script error message

I give. It seemed to offer help, of the kindly sort, but in fact it ends the process without doing its job of producing Eclipse help.
Searching the Help for this error message gives no clue. "WebHelp SSL layout" returns no help results.
Here was my process: Word import to RH8, generate WebHelp, then run RH8 Tools>Scripts>EclipseHelp
I notice there is a WebHelp.ssl file in my project directory.
Are the scripts still in Alpha state... the script appears to be eHlpDhtm.js, I tried to edit it in RH8 but got another error, "navigator undefined".
Any ideas, before I go back to Dreamweaver.... ?
    thanks, -Dee

How to create Eclipse Help from RoboHelp 8.
    1.    Go to Tools->Options: Check flag “Convert RoboHelp edited topics to HTML”
    2.    Create an empty directory say "MyHelpPlugin" under plugins folder of Eclipse. You can find the plugins directory in the Eclipse Installed folder.
    3.    Generate WebHelp SSL
    4.    Open Scripts Explorer pod, View->Pods->Script Explorer
    5.    Run the Script “EclipseHelp.jsx”
    6.    Select the generated webhelp SSL folder i.e. WebHelp (<name>) under !SSL! folder.
    7.    Click Ok
8     In Select Eclipse Plugin directory, choose the same folder as in Step 2 ("MyHelpPlugin”) under plugins folder of Eclipse.
Caution: Contents of the folder would be deleted, so double-check the folder selected.
    9.    Click Ok
    10.  In “Describe plugin.xml file” dialog, specify the name of Help and provider name
    11.  Click Ok
    12.  View help in Eclipse by Help -> Help Contents
And you should be able to view your Help as a Book in Eclipse..!!!

  • Eclipse project errors after installing Java 1.6.0._20

All my projects in Eclipse version 3.4.2 now report an error missing laf.jar. The jar was previously located here /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Classes/laf.jar and has been removed. The Java 1.6.0_20 installer's BOM does not contain laf.jar. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
    Description Resource Path Location Type
Project 'Foo' is missing required library: '/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Classes/laf.jar' Foo Build path Build Path Problem

I resolved the problem by going to the eclipse project properties page and removing the 1.6 jre library in "Java Build Path" (Libraries tab). I then clicked on "Add Library..." and selected "JRE System Library." I then clicked on "Installed JREs ..." and eclipse gave me an error to the effect that it was deleting the JRE because it was missing. I clicked OK to the warning. On the "Installed JREs" page I clicked "Search..." then navigated to the /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6 directory and chose it. I was then able to select JVM 1.6 and life was good.

  • Eclipse: Showing Error When It Shouldn't Be

I think. Just imported a bunch of legacy code. Getting an error on a member definition line like this:
    private com.package.MyClass mMyClass;
The error says "com.package" cannot be resolved. However, when I click on quickfix, I get only one option: "Change to 'com.package.MyClass'". If I double-click the option, nothing happens -- which of course makes sense, because it's changing it to itself.
I've verified that the referenced class -- com.package.MyClass -- exists, contains no errors according to eclipse, and is in the correct directory.
Here are possible things that could be screwing eclipse up:
The class containing this "erroneous" line of code is in the package "com.package.subpackage".
There is an import statement in the file importing another class named "MyClass" from a differenct package.
There is an inner class also named "MyClass."
    1. What could be happening here?
    2. How can I fix it?
    TIA,
    John

I've had some flaky behavior when refactoring packages before, but I'm not at my Eclipse environment at the moment, so I'm afraid I'm not much help. Try deleting the explicit package from the declaration. Then right-click your code and select Source -> Organize Imports ( I think that's what it is ), and see what Eclipse says then. It may shed some light on the problem...

Earlier I made the same application in SUP 1.5.5 with the use of DAD (Device Application Designer) and ran successfully. This application shows a list of PR and perform an operation of approval or rejection of selected PR.
In latest SUP release it abandoned the use of DAD for RBS application in BB, then i tried app developent using SUP 2.0 BB custom application development manual. I did everything like
    Deployed package on SCC
    Imported generated files in Eclipse
Imported 3 JAR files (referenced through another project)
    Used syncprofile and syncgroup methods
Project on Eclipse (PR) resulted in different behavior, different time :
    1. Ran successfuly on opening the application 3 4 times after running simulator.
    2. Showed "midilet exception" while compiling the project.
    3. Compiled successfully and on running the application on simulator, it shows en exception immediately after clicking the app icon - com.sybase.persistence.PersistenceException: UltraLiteJ Error[-974] : File I/O failed for 'PR1_0.ulj
