EclipseLink Error looking up external Transaction resource under JNDI name

I want to verify my EJB 3.0 setup for a Java EE project to be deployed on Weblogic 10.3.3 (11gR2) - however when trying to run the JUnit test from eclipse I keep getting the following exception :

You have it set to run on the WebLogic platform so it is looking up the TransactionManager from JNDI, but are running the test from within the EclipseIDE. Try deploying it to Weblogic and running it there, or change your persistence.xml settings so that it can connect/run outside the server.

  • No external transaction assigned to internal transaction 0020 / 0010

    Hi gurus..
    While iam doing invoice  its shows error like
    "No external transaction assigned to internal transaction 0020 / 0010"
    Where i need to maintain external transactions?
    can any one please tel the complete path for that...
    thanks...

    Hello,
    Financial Accounting / Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable / Basic Functions / Postings and Documents / Document / Maintain Document Assignments / Maintain Transactions for IS-U/IS-T / Maintain Transactions for Cash Security Deposits/Interest
    There, go to Define Main Transaction, select main transaction 0020, double click Define Sub-Transactions, select subtransaction 0010, double click Allocate Transactions to Internal Transactions and do the allocation there.
    If you didn't define the combination of main transaction and subtransaction for cash security deposit payment, do that first, then follow the steps described above. If you define other main/sub transaction (for example AAAA/BBBB), replace "select main transaction 0020" with "select main transaction AAAA", and "select subtransaction 0010" with "select subtransaction BBBB" in the steps above.
    Hope this helps.

    Any suggestions?
    Im running a windows7 machine, visual studio 2008

    Pectora:
       First of all, I'm assuming that you are receiving this error on a Win box.  If on a Mac, then your problems may stem from something else altogether.
       It's a bit complex to cover in an email.  My recommendation is that you open up a couple of the sample plugins and look at them.  Pay close attention to the Properties page of the project.  Look at the Resources field and command line, and also pay attention to the Pre-Link and Post-build fields.  Once they are looking right, highlight your .FR file and click the Properties icon.  Be sure that all four lines have something in them. Model their input after what you see in the sample plugins.
       Finally, are you getting this error when the ODFRC compiler is running, or when the project is getting linked?  The former could indicate a problem with your .FR file, the latter is more likely to be solved by my first suggestion.

    John

    As far as I can tell from your descriptors, what you're trying to do is OK.
              Could you post the stack trace for the exception you're getting, if you have

    Does anyone understand why the mapping doesn't work?

  • Error: Could not find compiled resource bundle 'components' for locale 'en_US'

    We are porting a fairly large body of Flex3 code developed under FlexBuilder 3 to Flex4 under FlashBuilder 4.  Most of the conversion appears to be working fine, with one exception.  When I launch the Flex4 version, all my data interchanges with the server works.  Just as it is about to show the UI, the following error occurs:
         Error: Could not find compiled resource bundle 'components' for locale 'en_US'
    I am actually using a locale of fr_FR, but I assume it couldn't find that, reverted to en_US, failed again and then barfed.  If I look in
         ~Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\locale\fr_FR
    I see a lot of swc files, and of course no 'components.swc'.  I believe the problem is that our Flex3 code is using mx components, and the compatibility mode is not properly handling it for some reason.  I think this is mostly from our in-house UI library.  The properties for that library (and for my main app I am testing now) have:
         - Use default SDK (currently "Flex 4.0")
         - Use Flex 3 compability mode
         - Use minimum version (Flash Player) required by the Flex SDK
         - Enable strict type checking
         - Enable warnings
    I also tried putting the compatibility flag in the mxmlc compile line, with no change in behavior.  This project is built by the following script:
    ruby scripts/concat_properties.rb -o resources.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_common/res_myname_fr_common.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_common/scout/res_myname_scout_fr_common.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_fr/res_myname_fr_fr.properties ^
         ../../scout/common/src/locale/fr_common/mypals/resources.properties
    mxmlc -locale=fr_FR -source-path=. ^
         -compatibility-version=3.0.0. ^
         -static-rsls=true ^
         -include-resource-bundles=resources ^
         -output src/main/resources/bundles/mypals/fr_fr_resources.swf
    copy src\main\resources\bundles\mypals\fr_fr_resources.swf ^
         bin-debug\bundles\mypals
    What have I missed???

    You have two posts. I will try to answer each completely.  Second one first. You say I should change my build to include the framework resources.  I am afraid I am not sure which and what to do there.  We combine all our properties file into one large one, then use the following build line:
    mxmlc -locale=fr_FR,en_US -source-path=. ^
         -compatibility-version=3.0.0. ^
         -static-rsls=true ^
         -include-resource-bundles=resources ^
         -output src/main/resources/bundles/mypals/fr_fr_resources.swf
    I am assuming you are telling me to change the "-include-resource-bundles" line, but what to add?  The "sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\locale\en_US" holds 13 swf files.  I tried adding that entire folder (along with the fr_FR folder) to the project library path (in the project properties dialog), but that made no change.  I also tried reverting the library path tab back to "MX Only" instead of "MX + Spark", but again no change.
    ====================
    For your first message, I did a search for 'spark' in the entire project.  It only existed on 3 lines, each at the start of css files:
        @namespace s "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark";
    I had put those in based on reading needed changes to naming in CSS.  Since I was not actually using any spark ('s') components yet, I removed these lines.  The entire project now does not have the word 'spark' anywhere in it. No change in behavior (as I expected).
    I did a search for "s:" throughout the project.  That does exist in probably 100 places, but all are legitimate. Things like (xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml") or variable names ("var matches:Object").  No reference to any s: object.  (While on the topic, why does FlashBuilder still not have a "whole word" box to limit searches??).
    Note that when I first reported this problem, the compiler was set to ONLY support fr_FR.  In fighting this, I changed it to "en_US,fr_FR" hoping that would tell the compiler to load whatever en_US items it was looking for.  We really do not want any English support in this version. (We do have another SWF created with only support for en_US, and another for en_UK, etc.  Each language is a separate node on our server, so there is no need to mix & match at runtime)
    The console shows a lot of swf loads that I do not understand...
    The console output shows (my comments after ==> indicator)
    [SWF] C:\ConnectedProducts\common-web\myname\bin-debug\myname.swf - 2,229,992 bytes after decompression

  • MQSeries as a Transactional Resource Manager with Weblogic Server

              I am trying to setup the example given in the BEA white paper:
              Using MQSeries as a Transactional Resource Manager with Weblogic Server.
              Version 1.
              October 25, 2001.

              this exception(s) and how i can solve the problem? My MQSeries Server and Weblogic
              6.1 sp2 are installed on seperate NT machines. I installed the MQSeries classes

    The point is that over TCPIP the MQ XA connection factory is not available.
              The MQ shared memory/JNI driver is required to access it, which limits
              access to those processes that are on the same box as the MQ q manager.
              This is an MQ series limitation.

  • Could we get a deadlock error on COMMIT (END TRANSACTION) in BDB-SQL

    According to the DB_TXN->commit documentation at:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17076_02/html/api_reference/C/txncommit.html
    "After DB_TXN->commit() has been called, regardless of its return, the DB_TXN handle may not be accessed again.
    If DB_TXN->commit() encounters an error, the transaction and all child transactions of the transaction are aborted."
    Since BDB-SQL uses the BDB engine, should the code handle such errors in BDB-SQL?
    Another point to keep in mind is that, post BDB-SQL version 5.1 upon receiving a potential deadlock error all the previous operations(child transactions) in the same transaction are still valid and can be committed.
    It would be great if someone can throw some light on this.

    I do not think commit can experience a deadlock error since it does not obtain any new locks, and it could not have been in a blocked state if you are able to call commit. Either way, after calling commit on a transaction in SQL the transaction is done, even if an error is returned. At that point if an error is returned the transaction (and all the work its children have done) is either aborted under the covers, or the database has been corrupted, and all future calls to it will return a corruption error that will require restarting the database to restore it (and the restoration will roll back any work done by the transaction since it did not complete cleanly).
    Hope that answers your question.
    Lauren FoutzLauren, thanks for the reply. From your reply, though there is little possibility that we can get an error on commit looks like we should be prepared to handle such errors in BDB-SQL. We have had instances where we experienced an error on commit while using native BDB (without SQL API) and wanted to confirm the same.You are correct. Error when committing are rare in both the SQL and native API, but they can happen and you should deal with them when they do.

  • Communication error with the external tax system(vertex_ms0018)

    Hi All
    I have installed ECC6 IDES S/W on my PC. I have activated SAP Insurance module (FS-CD). When I try to create business partner using FPP1 with US address, It is throwing error as follows:
    "communication error with the external tax system(vertex_ms0018)"
    I dont want to use any external Tax system like Vertex etc. because I am not calculating any taxes.
    I gave correct US address with valid ZIP etc. but no use.
    Please help me if any one of you has idea. How to overcome this error. How to deactivate connection to external tax system.
    Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Giri

    Hi Giri,
    I've notice that you took the 'V' from the configuration but you left the RFC destination.
    Clearly the RFC destination is not working thus the reason you get the error (in your case, your server can't determine a valid IP address for the host iwdf8334.wdf.sap.corp).
    To sort out the problem you got I can think of at least two ways:
    1. Get the RFC connection working (get the correct setup for it) using transaction SM59
    2. Or if you don't really need the external tax calculations, remove the RFC configuration from TAXUJ under Assign RFC Destination to Country on the Cross-Application SPRO entry.
    3. You can always add TAXUS to transaction OBBG if you require it (as it comes out of the box).
    This should fix the problem you are having but I'm assuming you don't need the external tax calculations.
    If you do, just fix the connection using SM59 (you may want to ask for help from your Basis team if you don't know how to do it).
    Cheers

  • UnitOfWork event and External Transaction Control

    Hi
    I'm running Toplink 9.0.3 with JBoss 3.2.2. Toplink is configured with an external transaction controler. My code is running inside a Session Bean, with CMT (Container Managed Transaction). My bean's transaction type is "Required" so the JTS transaction is already started when I call getActiveUnitOfWork().
    What I want to do is register a listener on the UOW's preCommit event. When I do, the listener is never called... Is it an issue with Toplink or is it me who is missing something?
    Thanks a lot
    Regards
    Eric

    Hi Eric,
    When configured correctly the registration of the listener should happen when you acquire the unit of work, and if logging is appropriately enabled you should see the #register log message on the console. You should not need to do anything in preCommit. Make sure that you have:
    - set the login to useExternalTransactionController()
    - set the controller instance on the session
    e.g. session.setExternalTransactionController(new JTSExternalTransactionController()
    - set the TransactionManager on the JTS listener class.
    e.g.
    TransactionManager jbossTM = ... // look up TM
    JTSSynchronizationListener.setTransactionManager(jbossTM)
    You will have to look up the JBoss TransactionManager in JNDI in order to set it on the listener class. I can't remember what name it is posted under in 3.22 but it is something generic (javax.transaction.TransactionManager, or something like that -- your app server doc should tell you).
    If you are using sessions.xml then the equivalent elements exist there as well to set the first two parts.

  • Internal transaction not assigned to external transaction

    Hi,
    while running the transaction FP08, it showed me an error saying that "Internal transaction 0060 0020 is not assigned to an external transaction". Can any1 please help me what the problem is and how to sort the error as well as the proper running process of the transaction FP08?

    Check you config under the IMG Activites:

    -Basic Functions > Posting & Documents > Document > Maintain Document Assignments > Maintain Transaction > Assign External Transactions

  • Error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)

    Hi,
    I was going to install a winff package (a GUI front end to ffmpeg for converting between video formats), but when I ran yaourt -S winff and tried to install it refused because it isn't for the x86_64 architecture. So I decided to edit the PKGBUILD and perhaps try to force it anyway, but then I saw that the PKGBUILD is actually getting the precompiled RPM package and as I checked, while there was no precompiled 64bit version of the RPM there was one for a deb version that is offered on winff site.
    Since deb's are just archives I ended up, after a few tries, with this PKGBUILD which uses ar and tar commands to get to the binaries inside of the amd64 deb:
    # Contributor: yugrotavele <[email protected]>
    # Modified by libervisco for x86_64
    pkgname=winff-amd64
    pkgver=0.42
    pkgrel=1
    pkgdesc="GUI for ffmpeg"
    url="http://www.winff.org"
    license=('GPL')
    depends=('ffmpeg gtk gdk-pixbuf')
    makedepends=('')
    source=('http://winff.googlecode.com/files/winff-0.42-amd64.deb')
    arch=('x86_64')
    md5sums=('1febf5fd19fa76bdc1da06d3e6c4d3b8')
    build() {
    ar vx winff-0.42-amd64.deb
    tar xvzf data.tar.gz
    install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/bin/winff $startdir/pkg/usr/bin/winff
    install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/share/winff/presets.xml $startdir/pkg/usr/share/winff/presets.xml
    install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/share/winff/winff.png $startdir/pkg/usr/share/winff/winff.png
    So what I basically do is run yaourt -S winff and when it asks whether I want to edit it, I edit it and replace the original PKGBUILD content with above.
    It successfully runs the build() commands, finds and installs the dependencies, but when it's time to install the actual new winff package is throws up this:
    loading package data...
    checking dependencies...
    error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
    :: winff: requires ffmpeg gtk gdk-pixbuf
    I don't get it. It installed all the dependencies (and I even checked whether winff works in one of the earlier tries when I manually installed gdk-pixbuf when the binary asked for it). What does it want now?
    Here is the whole process:
    [daniel@memeport ~]$ yaourt -S winff

    I am able to hit external ws from soap ui and getting response but while calling from soa suite getting this error.
    Any clues?
    Thanks

    Looks like the error is in the data sent to or expected from the service in your composite. Check that audit logs and composite flow to make sure your soap message when using soapui matches what you are working with in soa suite.

    Greetings,
    javax.naming.NameNotFoundException. Root exception is
    org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound
    =================
    Below is the line of my LoginServlet class which is
    referred to in the stack trace - Object object =
    context.lookup
                        ( "java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk" );The root of the naming context is 'java:comp/env' and this is where lookup automatically begins for EJBs and resources. IOW, by specifying "java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk" as the EJB lookup name the server is actually treating this as "java:comp/env/java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk". Specify only the ejb context ("ejb/WarehouseClerk") in your lookup and you should be fine.
    Any help would be most appreciated.
    SeanRegards,
    Tony "Vee Schade" Cook
