Element undefined

I have a test code like this:
<cfquery name="detail" datasource="fundfinder1"
dbtype="ODBC">
SELECT edtrans.*, edtrans.princ_amt as tr_princ_amt,
edtrans.income AS tr_income, edtrans.Val_share AS
tr_val_share, edtrans.shares AS tr_shares
FROM edtrans
WHERE princ_acc = '480377'</cfquery>
<cfoutput>#detail.tr_val_share#</cfoutput>
It returns message: "Element TR_VAL_SHARE is undefined in
DETAIL"
if I change tr_val_share to trvalshare(without _) it works.
please help?

If you do this, what do you get for the problematic field?
<cfquery name="q1">
select * from edtrans where 1 = 2
</cfquery>
<cfdump var="#q1.columnlist#">

    Thanks,

    Hello
    I have had the same problem in Oracle BPM and solved it using the following steps:
    1- In your application navigator window, expand the project that contains the business rule.
    2- In the SOA Content, double click on your wsdl file.
    3- When the file opens, select the schema view from the bottom of the page.
    4- In the schema view, expand all the schema nodes and check if you see any values in red. If you see one, that value has probably caused the error and you should correct it using the property inspector window.
    In my case, the schema location value was set to a wrong path, so I changed it and the error resolved.
    Also, some error that appear as warning in the rule editor will show as compile error later, such as input types not being used and such, so those must be resolved before compiling.
    Hope that was helpful
    good luck

  • Spry.Effect ERR: Element "undefined" not found

    http://demiurgical.fluctuation.net/development/test.html
    Hi guys,
    I used Spry Data, Tabbed Panels, and the very helpfull Tabbed
    Panels Extension that Kin provided. It works fine on both Firefox
    and IE, however, IE6 gives me an alert box of "Spry.Effect ERR:
    Element "undefined" not found 4 times but still working.
    How can I get rid of this?
    Thank you again,
    John

    Looking at Retrospective's code in test.html, I see that the
    error is due to the fact he had a script block in his region:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--//
    var testtab = new Spry.Widget.TabbedPanels("testtab", {
    interval: 3000 });
    testtab.start();
    //-->
    </script>
    That executes immediately when the page is loaded, even
    before the region is processed. To get rid of the problem, all that
    has to be done is remove the script block and move its code into a
    region observer so that it gets exectued any time the region markup
    is re-generated. Here's how it should look:
    <html>

  • Element undefined. What am I missing here?

    Thanks for the response Dave. I modified my code as per your suggestion and am now getting this error message;
    Variable PRODUCTS_PRODUCTTYPE is undefined.
    Here is the new code;
    <cfquery datasource="farmky" name="getProductLists">

        <td width="212" align="left">#Group#</td>
      </tr></cfoutput>
    </table></cfoutput>
    </body>
    </html>
    My <cfdump> is showing the correct results for the ProductTypes.ProductType column whereas before it showed no results at all.
    EDIT: I removed the #'s from the group="Products_ProductType" and now the page displays correctly except for the order. I modified the Order By clause to ORDER BY Products_ProductType, ProductTitle ASC and now get an error message stating Too few parameters. Expected 1. Thoughts?

  • Element undefined in url

    Hi-
    I've been assinged to create some .cfm screens for our web
    page. I have absolutely NO Cold Fusion or HTML background. I do
    have some introductory C++, C# and VB background. I'm using
    Dreamweaver to create the pages with ColdFusion.
    Our website is used to view data, not to submit any
    infomration on forms. The first time a user hits my form called
    detail_staging.cfm an SQL statement runs that passes three
    variables from the previous screen using:
    SELECT stuff
    FROM stuff's table
    WHERE card_data.card_year = <CFQUERYPARAM value="#URL.FY#"
    CFSQLTYPE="cf_sql_char"> AND
    card_data.card_month= <CFQUERYPARAM value="#URL.MON#"
    CFSQLTYPE="cf_sql_char"> AND
    agencydim.agy_agency_name=<cfqueryparam value="#URL.AGN#"
    cfsqltype="cf_sql_char">
    This works great and displays informtion based on year, month
    and agency. I then want the user to be able to change the month,
    but keep the year and agency. I added:
    <FORM action="detail_staging.cfm" method="get">
    <div align="center"><span
    class="page_text_bold">Select Month:</span>
    <select name="Month"
    class="page_text_side_header_content">
    <cfoutput query="Month">
    <option
    value="#CALENDAR_MONTH#">#CALENDAR_MONTH#</option>
    </cfoutput>
    </select>
    <input type="submit" value="go">
    </div>
    </FORM>
    CALENDAR_MONTH is populated in the drop down based on the
    query 'Month'
    HERE'S THE PROBLEM:
    When I try to change the month, I get "Element FY is
    undefined in URL" How do I keep the variable value for FY and AGN
    that came through the first time the page loaded and change only
    the month?
    I've been trying to find an answer to this for a day and a
    half now and I'm hoping that you all can help me.
    Thank you very much,
    Wendy

    Thanks for your reply. I'm still not getting it. The stuff I
    looked up
    says to put an input inside the form tag, but when I do that,
    it wants a
    name - so I named it-
    Now, it doesn't display anything. Is there something I'm
    missing or a
    more specific direction you can point me in.
    Did you also put it into the <cfoutput> block so that
    the url variable
    is resolved into it's value?
    <FORM action="detail_staging.cfm" method="get">
    <div align="center"><span
    class="page_text_bold">Select Month:</span>
    <select name="Month"
    class="page_text_side_header_content">
    <cfoutput query="Month">
    <option
    value="#CALENDAR_MONTH#">#CALENDAR_MONTH#</option>
    </cfoutput>
    </select>
    <cfoutput><!--- This block passes through the other
    form values --->
    <input type="hidden" name="FY" value="#url.fy#">
    <input type="hidden" name="AGN" value="#url.AGN#">
    </cfoutput>
    <input type="submit" value="go">
    </div>
    </FORM>
    You will also need your select name to match the url name you
    use in the
    query. They both need to be either "MON" or "Month".

  • Show-Hide element in Dreamweaver CS5

    Please can you tell me why when I validate a web page I get the following error when using the Show-Hide behaviour.  The error is only reported for the first use of the feature and no of the others.  I don't understand.
    Line 239,         Column 235:     there is no attribute "onload"…HideLayers('drive','','hide')" onload="MM_showHideLayers('drive','','hide')" /…

    You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the       document type you are using does not support that attribute for this       element. This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict"       document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use       the "Transitional" document type to get the "target" attribute), or       by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "marginheight" (this       is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).
    This error may also result if the element itself is not supported in       the document type you are using, as an undefined element will have no       supported attributes; in this case, see the element-undefined error       message for further information.
    How to fix: check the spelling and case of the element and attribute,        (Remember XHTML is all lower-case) and/or        check that they are both allowed in the chosen document type, and/or       use CSS instead of this attribute. If you received this error when using the        <embed> element to incorporate flash media in a Web page, see the        FAQ item on valid flash.
    Below is a copy of the relevant code -The code in bold is the line causing the error.  You will notice I have used it more than once, but I didn't get any other error messages.  Please help.

    Here is the code for the field that holds the value I want.
    <input type="text" name="usponame_<cfoutput>#cnt1#</cfoutput>" id="usponame_<cfoutput>#cnt1#</cfoutput>" value="<cfoutput>#Request.KT_escapeAttribute(rspsidb.usponame)#</cfoutput>" size="32" maxlength="100" />
    I have done this before with webpages I created, and it should be fairly easy, and I am probably missing something very simple, but can't find it. The field works fine, and has the value I need, I just can't seem to reference it from the cfquery.
    any help appreciated, Thanks!
    I also tried the following for the AND statement, but still a no go.
    AND fullname = #usponame_<cfoutput>#cnt1#</cfoutput>#

    Hi there,
    first I have to admit that I can´t tell why this doesn´t work with ColdFusion in particular (I´m a PHP guy), but I reckon that it doesn´t work because #cnt1# is a sort of placeholder which - once ADDT´s Dynamic Form is loaded in a browser - actually represents a variable number which - in turn - depends on the number of form instances which have been rendered by selecting one or multiple records in the Dynamic List.
    That said, the actual input field´s name (and id) could be "usponame_1" or "usponame_3", but it´s never a simple name like "usponame", and it´s most probably not a predictable value which your query might be able to recognize - because unlike a traditional "update a single recordset only" form ADDT´s Dynamic Forms may (or may not, depending on your previous selection in the corresponding Dynamic List) consist of multiple instances, whereas your query expects a single value that´s derived from a "known" form field name
    Humm, I hope this makes a little sense ;-)
    Cheers,
    Günter

  • Unable to configure Oracle Applications Adapter to capture Business Event

    Hi All,
    I am new to SOA and BPEL so please bare that in mind when reading and responding to this post.
    I am attempting to trigger BPEL from an EBS business event as per the SOA gateway developers guide.
    I am working on EBIZ R12.1.2, 11g weblogic, Jdev 11g release 1
    Step 1. I have enabled the business event oracle.apps.per.api.employee.create_employee and created a subscription from the integration repository which I can see from the business events subscription window.
    Step 2. I have created a new SOA project in JDev with an empty composite and added a BPEL process and called it createOrsResource.
    Step 3. Following this I opened the BPEL process and added in an applications adapter and set this up to interact with the WSDL that I got from going through the adapter configuration wizard (i.e. selected the business event detailed above).
    I then tried to compile and got the following error:
    Error: Load of wsdl "createEmployeeEvent.wsdl with Message part element undefined in wsdl [file:/D:/jdev_home/mywork/IntegrationApplication/integrationExample/createEmployeeEvent.wsdl] part name = WF_EVENT_T     type = {http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/APPS/createEmployeeEvent}WF_EVENT_T" failed
    This is obviously something to do with the business event message type that materialized when I selected the business event in the Adapter Config Wizard.
    I went back into the Apps Adapter and checked the config, when I clicked next .. next .. next etc... through the wizard just before hit the schema definition page I got the following error:
    null file is either missing or is corrupt.
    This schema defines the stricture of wf event. Wizard would not be able
    to edit the service
    Also when I tried to add an assign activity using the WF_EVENT_T as an input to another variable I got the following WF_EVENT_T node in the left mapping window:
    Exception: Unable to parse schema APPS_WF_EVENT_T_createEmployeeEvent.xsd
    Can anyone point me in the right direction???

    Thanks.It is not - else you would not have posted this thread. Home version architecture differs significantly from Professional version and higher, especially in the area of User Access Control. It is tough enough to try and solve issues on certified/supported OS versions/hardware, let alone on uncertified/unsupported ones ;-)

  • Can't get a web page to validate with meta tags with w3c??

    I have created a website for my school projects, and every week I have to add something to it for the course, and every monday I have to submit my code in a zipped folder to the professor, after running it through the w3c validation page, and passing, This current week, I was instructed to swork on SEO for my site, and add meta tags to the site to fish for traffic, and then I have to validate it through w3c and submit. Well, I did not complete this because w3c would not validate my page until I removed every single meta tag from the code, and I cannot for the life of me understand the error that is holding me back. So, in an effort to see if I could get some help here, I have included my code, and will try to explain what is happening and the code as well as the error from the validator service. Please have a look, help me, because I am totally lost here....
    Thanks in advance!!

    This is my code:

    and this is what w3c says when I try to validate the page:
    Line 5, Column 131: there is no attribute "fttp-equiv"

    What in the world does this mean, because I am seriously lost on this, and the only way I could get around this was to completely remove the entire line, "<meta name="" content="Zachariah Lloyd, basketball, computers" /><meta fttp-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />", which removed all of my meta tags completely, in order to validate it?? I cannot see what is setting this thing off like that, I have never gottena validation error before, and I now know that they are written as meaningless gibberish that does not even remotely explain what is wrong, at least not to me....
    Please help!!!!

    Line 4 and line 5 are trying to do the same thing. Take out the
    <meta fttp-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    line entirely and you will be good.

  • Code questions in DWCS6

    Hello, my CSS fiole passes 3C3 but my Template which had over 39 problems is now down to Four. I could use some help because I'm clueless to what they are saying.
    The following notes and warnings highlight missing or conflicting information which caused the validator to perform some guesswork prior to validation, or other things affecting the output below. If the guess or fallback is incorrect, it could make validation results entirely incoherent. It is highly recommended to check these potential issues, and, if necessary, fix them and re-validate the document.
    Info Using Direct Input mode: UTF-8 character encoding assumed
    Unlike the “by URI” and “by File Upload” modes, the “Direct Input” mode of the validator provides validated content in the form of characters pasted or typed in the validator's form field. This will automatically make the data UTF-8, and therefore the validator does not need to determine the character encoding of your document, and will ignore any charset information specified.
    If you notice a discrepancy in detected character encoding between the “Direct Input” mode and other validator modes, this is likely to be the reason. It is neither a bug in the validator, nor in your document.

    Error Line 24, Column 8: required attribute "type" not specified

    The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.
    Typical values for type are type="text/css" for <style> and type="text/javascript" for <script>.

    Most likely, you nested tags and closed them in the wrong order. For example <p><em>...</p> is not acceptable, as <em> must be closed before <p>. Acceptable nesting is: <p><em>...</em></p>
    Another possibility is that you used an element which requires a child element that you did not include. Hence the parent element is "not finished", not complete. For instance, in HTML the <head> element must contain a <title> child element, lists require appropriate list items (<ul> and <ol> require <li>; <dl> requires <dt> and <dd>), and so on.

  • Grouping by a Metadata Column in a SharePoint Document Library

    Hi All,
    I have a document library with a managed metadata column. Now I need to create a view in which i need to group by the metadata column but I'm not able to see the managed metadata column in the Group By Columns list. Is it possible to accomplish this? Can
    anyone pls help me out. Thank you.

  • Error while deploying using ant in 11g

    Hi all,
    I am trying to deploy order demo application using ant from command line in SOA 11g. I just ran the ant script to package the composite and it is giving me below mentioned error.It is referring to 1 file in all the wsdls and creating problem. Actualy, JMS_FedEx.wsdl is partner link to JMS Adapter that writes to a queue. I am confused because I have 2 more adapter created on similiar lines like this but while compiling no error references are made to those wsdls. I am not sure What's wrong with this wsdl. However, Composite gets complied and deployed using Jdeveloper. Please provide your Inputs.

    Okay,
    So I've been having problems (go fig) with my page displaying properly in the Firefox browser on my account. My site displays fine on my account in Safari. If I switch accounts, the site will display better (not perfectly) in Firefox. On my windows machine, my site displays fine in all three of my browsers, IE, Firefox, and Safari.
    Here is a link to my site: kevin morehouse
    The page that displays incorrectly is the "About Us" page.
    I went to the Mozilla website and found a link to http://validator.w3.org/
    This is what came back when I ran my URL

    An entity reference was found in the document, but there is no reference by that name defined. Often this is caused by misspelling the reference name, unencoded ampersands, or by leaving off the trailing semicolon (;). The most common cause of this error is unencoded ampersands in URLs as described by the WDG in "Ampersands in URLs".
    Entity references start with an ampersand (&) and end with a semicolon (;). If you want to use a literal ampersand in your document you must encode it as "&" (even inside URLs!). Be careful to end entity references with a semicolon or your entity reference may get interpreted in connection with the following text. Also keep in mind that named entity references are case-sensitive; &Aelig; and æ are different characters.
    If this error appears in some markup generated by PHP's session handling code, this article has explanations and solutions to your problem.
    Note that in most documents, errors related to entity references will trigger up to 5 separate messages from the Validator. Usually these will all disappear when the original problem is fixed.
    Line 255, Column 260: general entity "counter" not defined and no default entity.
    …7-B031088E2D79?webdav-method=propget&counter"></script><

    This is usually a cascading error caused by a an undefined entity reference or use of an unencoded ampersand (&) in an URL or body text. See the previous message for further details.
    Line 255, Column 267: reference not terminated by REFC delimiter.
    …88E2D79?webdav-method=propget&counter"></script><img src

    If you meant to include an entity that starts with "&", then you should terminate it with ";". Another reason for this error message is that you inadvertently created an entity by failing to escape an "&" character just before this text.
    Line 255, Column 267: reference to external entity in attribute value.
    …88E2D79?webdav-method=propget&counter"></script><img src

    This is generally the sign of an ampersand that was not properly escaped for inclusion in an attribute, in a href for example. You will need to escape all instances of '&' into '&'.

    I am VERY concerned with the fact that my pages are not being properly validated and displayed.
    I have created two different sites using iWeb '08 and while I am satisfied with the ease of use, I am concerned that my sites are not being displayed correctly... in fact, the other day my friend who is a Mac whiz and who hosts my business website on his server... tried to visit the site that I created using iWeb '08 and had published to my .Mac account... it caused his browser to flat out crash! He said he hasn't seen anything like that in years!
    Here is the site I have begun to build http://www.mcleanmonowheel.com
    If you paste this url into http://validator.w3.org/ a slew of errors pop up.
    Is this the norm with iWeb or have I done something wrong on my end???
