Import server: Undefined elements exception
Hi,
I do have a problem with the import server. I get ,'save-update map' structural exceptions in the import server. It complains about undefined elements, and if saved the update it works for one single XML file but other still fail with similar (other element though) error. Mapping the files in the import manager just works. We are using version 5.5.41.70 here of all components. I noticed a thread which explains about sp5 patch 01, hotfix 1, which fixes this, but we're having that one already.
I did validate the xml already against the xsd used, the xml is valid.
Error from logfile is:
"Some portions of this import map are out of date.<LF/>Solution: Please, Launch the Import Manager GUI, preferably using the original source file that the map was generated for, otherwise the same source file and Save Update [File->Save Update] the map.<LF/> Parent hierarchy: <E1MARAM>.<LF/> Undefined element: <EKWSL>. ".

it looks like that your Import Map does not have all IDoc fields mapped to the corresponding repository fields. If you map the fields in Import Manager and choose the Save->Update option, IM adds the new mapping to the old existing one. But of course it is still possible that there are other unmapped IDoc elements which need to be mapped once manually before the Import Server can process the file automatically. The best way to solve this is creating a "Dummy" IDoc file that contains a value for each and every field. Then use this "Dummy" IDoc in Import Manager, load the Map and check the mappings. You can add/delete mappings according to your expected real data. Save->Update once again and you should not into the issue any longer.

Show-Hide element in Dreamweaver CS5
Please can you tell me why when I validate a web page I get the following error when using the Show-Hide behaviour. The error is only reported for the first use of the feature and no of the others. I don't understand.

If you have a "Strict" Doctype, did you try changing it to a "Transitional" version as the error report suggested?
Edit > Preferences > New Document > Default Document Type (DTD) > Change from Strict to Transitional of the same version. -

Check log file : C:\JDeveloper\mywork\Sample\SampleDequeueBPEL\SCA-INF\classes\scac.log for errorsDid you managed to look into logs.
Try to reconfigured the ftp adapter from scratch.
I had ran into same error as yours what i did was, restarted the Jdeveloper and was able to compile !!

Getting error while converting xml to xsd
I am getting error"The table (citeinfo) cannot be the child table to itself in nested relations"
at "http://www.flame-ware.com/products/xml-2-xsd/Default.aspx", while converting
xml into xsd so i can register.
Wherever citeinfo is there it is giving error.
Please look at bold and suggest solution

Hi,
I really need some help here. I am very new to the schema.
I have the following schema. I check this schema against the http://apps.xmlschema.com
and it is a validate schema.
However , when I try to parse it with the
xsdtest (the beta version 9.0A), I got error LSX-00021 which stands for "undefined element".
I can't compile the 9.0.1 xdk yet because of the C++ license error. If anyone have the new version of xsdtest from the demo, pls help me to parse it and let me know if this work under the new version.
Also, if you know what's wrong with my schema/xml file, pls let me know...
PS: I am using Sun Solaris

I too had this problem where my Sun Req/Resp integration model expected result from SAP system. The problem I traced to was that, The procedure call will wait for Xsecs as mentioned and exits. With in this Xsecs, SAP was not sending the dat. I increased the duration. Also another issue was that the return message was of Char type and this was appending a lot of blank space, due to which in Log file there was lot of balnk space. I did a transformation to trim the char and it worked.
I don't know wheather this will be the sort of answer you expect. -
XML binary storage format impairs schema validation?
I'm using Oracle 11g R1 on Windows Server 2003. I successfully registered schemas and created tables and indexes in the new binary storage format. However, when trying to load data, I'm running into problems. Schema validation behaves as if not the full feature set of XML Schema mysteriously isn't supported anymore.
There is probably more but at least wildcard elements (xs:any) and element references (xs:element ref="STH") are simply ignored in the schema definition and data is rejected even when it conforms to the schema.
Is there any solution for this or am I out of luck? I wanted to go back to CLOB storage as used in a previous installation but I'm running into problems when registering the schema. It complains about an empty SQL name although I don't have any defined. I'm pretty weirded out by all this.
I created the schema and table in a straightforward way:

Thanks for your help.The schema is very large (>200kb). Where should I upload it or can I send it to you? I'm bit concerned about confidentiality of company data. However, the instance is not valid yet. I'm in the process of modifying the schema to match all instances, but it breaks on places that should be already okay. No, I didn't use SchemaValidate ever.
But I've made an example where at least xs:any doesn't work. Element references work, though.

Where is the difference between the behaviour of an object-relational table ?My guess is that the virtual column spoils the soup (could you check).

But this<fieldx> is not holding any value.

This error ususally comes when your importing process is automatic. This problem usually occurs with XML files because the XML source that gives the structural error when importing, contains an element which had not been part of the original XML that was used for generation of the original map. Since this element is not defined as mandatory in the XSD the Import Manager could open it with no schema conflict. But since the source file contains a new element the Save Update option must be applied to add this new element to the map definition.

Can't get a web page to validate with meta tags with w3c??
I have created a website for my school projects, and every week I have to add something to it for the course, and every monday I have to submit my code in a zipped folder to the professor, after running it through the w3c validation page, and passing, This current week, I was instructed to swork on SEO for my site, and add meta tags to the site to fish for traffic, and then I have to validate it through w3c and submit. Well, I did not complete this because w3c would not validate my page until I removed every single meta tag from the code, and I cannot for the life of me understand the error that is holding me back. So, in an effort to see if I could get some help here, I have included my code, and will try to explain what is happening and the code as well as the error from the validator service. Please have a look, help me, because I am totally lost here....

Grouping by a Metadata Column in a SharePoint Document Library
Hi All,
I have a document library with a managed metadata column. Now I need to create a view in which i need to group by the metadata column but I'm not able to see the managed metadata column in the Group By Columns list. Is it possible to accomplish this? Can

Page not valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional?
Okay,
So I've been having problems (go fig) with my page displaying properly in the Firefox browser on my account. My site displays fine on my account in Safari. If I switch accounts, the site will display better (not perfectly) in Firefox. On my windows machine, my site displays fine in all three of my browsers, IE, Firefox, and Safari.

I have created two different sites using iWeb '08 and while I am satisfied with the ease of use, I am concerned that my sites are not being displayed correctly... in fact, the other day my friend who is a Mac whiz and who hosts my business website on his server... tried to visit the site that I created using iWeb '08 and had published to my .Mac account... it caused his browser to flat out crash! He said he hasn't seen anything like that in years!
