Elements 7.0 Patch

I just downloaded a patch for elements 7.0.  It's now telling me I have to uninstall then reinstall.  I bought it online and don't have cd.  I'm not a seasoned computer person.  Help.

Lightroom is optimized for retina display. PSE12 works perfectly on MBPr but is not optimized. I think for PSE12 Adobe was concentrating resources on rolling out the 64bit version for the Mac.

  • Photoshop Elements 8.01 Patch did not fully install

    HI
I checked and it said  8.01 patch  available.  I selected to install it. It ran, then stopped. I closed PS  and then reopened Photoshop and it still says 8.0 but now it does not  say any updates are avaialbe.  I think it do not install correctly.  How  to I reinstall or download the patch manully. The system info should  say 8.01 but it does not.
    Thank You

    Hi Rachel,
There isnt any patch released for PSE 8.0 version. The patch released is for PRE 8.0 and its name is Premier Elements 8.0.1 patch.
Since you might be having PSE and PRE both installed on your machine, therefore you are seeing this update. Both PSE, PRE and CS4 application use a shared component Adobe Updater and hence on launching it, it checks for updated for all Adobe products so in your case I think you launched PSE and it showed update available for PRE and you misunderstood it to be of PSE 8.
Since, this is a minor update, there wouldnt be any changes in Splash screen of PRE 8 or inside the Help->About splash screen of PRE 8.0.
But we do maintain a repository of its version update in the patched PSE .exe and inside registry editor.
    Regards,
    Ankush

  • Premier Elements 1.0 patch?

Okay, I know that this is a question on a very outdated version of Elements, but due to running an Athlon XP processor I'm locked in at v1.0.  Anyway, I haven't used it for awhile but recentley needed to install it again.  Does anyone know if there are any additional patches or updates available for this version?
    Thanks in advance,
    Steve

Thank you Steve and John.  I actually had checked the updates site, but wondered if v1.0 was possilby too old and had fallen off the list ;-).  I'm basically waiting for Windows 7 to buy a new PC and finally a new version of Premier Elements!

  • Ipad 2 backlight patches on white

My ipad2 display features the slight patches and spots seen only on white or light grey areas. When I scroll the text on white pages the text moves while the screen patches are still. It looks a little bit like the dirty screen on some iMac displays. It is not on the screen protector as I removed one to be sure.
I can't compare it with other iPad screen as I don't have any other available. Please let me know it the white surface of the screen at half brightness should be perfectly even or if it's normal that it has some slight patches coming from backlight that are only visible at the time of sliding other elements while those patches stand still.

I was checking it against light bleeding and have very minor bleeds at the left edge but what I mean above is kind of pattern of patches all over the screen (with more density on left portion of the screen) visable on white or light grey background. It looks like the dirty glass betwen the display panel and cover glass or maybe it is normal structure of IPS screen backlight (which I doubt).

  • Premiere Elements 12.1 Update

I am not able to Update to Version 12.1.  I received the following message: "Please close the following applications to continue."  I have no applications to close.  The Adobe Application Manager stops at 44% every time I try to update.  My operating system is Windows XP Pro with Service Pak 3.

I do not know if my comments will be worthwhile but file if not applicable
    1. Apparently in the days of presumed version 9 and that 9.0.1 Update, the Photoshop Elements Forum reply to the U44MlP2003 Error was the uninstall/reinstall and download the Update for manual install.
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1083129
As we know, no such 12.1 Update for download (outside of the program) is being offered by Adobe.
    Also, at that time
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/error-patch-cannot-applied-photoshop.html
    2. The two means that Adobe offers for downloads seem to be
    Akami NetSession Interface
    and
    Adobe Application Manager
Both are prone to problems with firewalls, especially the Akami one.
As far as you have gone with the download tries, have you tried any
    Premiere Elements 12 uninstall/reinstall
    and/or
    Disabled antivirus and firewalls?

  • Does Adobe Camera raw support Panasonic FZ150?

Purchasing new FZ150 and have Elements 9 - can I translate raw from this camera in Elements?

The patch for elements should also be in that file.
For PSE 9, you should be able to start the editor ang go to Help -> Updates
That should automatically apply the patch.

Message says AAM failed, please download new version (hey, already been there). Going round in circles again. Does anyone non geek check these things. Please help!!!

  • Installing the patch to make adobe photoshop elements 9 work with windows 7 computer

Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 has been installed in our new computer with windows 7.However, we can not get pictures to download from our digital camera into
the new computer. A computer tech tried to do this several times and each time it said the "patch" had been installed correctly, connecting camera and computer program, but then it would suddenly say the patch install had failed. Has anyone encountered this problem and found the solution?

    Hello brokelynn,
How impatient are they expressed in  kilo$$   - and what's on those photos  ;-))
    I can not clearly understand:
    - have you updated to windows 7 - or just updated windows 7 to the newest patches?
    - what do you mean by: I tried adding some actions
       - did you add some entries under actions - or do you use just tags named something like ^actions^?
-> where you successful to do that, or went something wrong while doing this?
    Regards
    Thomas
