Elimination of duplicates while adding 2 lists

I would like to add 2 ArrayList namely list1 and list2 and at the same time,i want to eleminate the duplicates.
Are there is any efficient method to do this?

If performance is an issue, pre-sorting the lists and then merging them intelligently might be a superior way (although it definitely fails in the simplicity department!) .

Is your item getting added through Javascript client object model ? If yes, you can write in the success delegate of your list creation method the logic to create the subsite.

An error occurred while adding the Cluster to the list

Hello,
I've installed the HFM 9.3.1 client on a Windows Server 2003 machine and now I'm attempting to configure it. I get all the way to the Server/Cluster Registration and when I try to add my one and only HFM application server to the list I'm present with this error.
"An error occurred while adding the Cluster to the list".
I don't see anything of use in the config tool log and as a result, I'm stuck. The odd thing is that not more than 10 minutes previously I added just finished installing the HFM client on another Windows Server 2003 machine and it installed / configured perfectly.
What am I missing?

You may have a DNS error of sorts. From a command line on the server which presents the error, ping the servername you are trying to reach. Do not use the cluster name, but instead use the server name or IP address. If you successfully reach it, use this in the registration utility. Once the server has been reached, it will return the cluster's name. If you cannot reach it using ping, focus on the underlying DNS problem.

As to your problem, to the point you normally use a Set instead of List when you don't want duplicates in a collection.

Error while adding a custom field with Input help via AET

Hi All,
I need to add two custom field under Service orders at Item level in component BT140I_SRVP.
One field is required to have the input search help f4 and autopopulates the second field
I am able to add one field(not requiring help) successfully through AET .
I have created one Zsearch_help in se11 and its successfully running and Autopopulating seocnd field while I am testing it
While adding second field through AET,I need to enter following details as -
field label,search relevant ,serach help etc.
When I type the name of my 'Zsearch_help' against field search help it gives me following error
'Search help is not compatible'.
Secondly,not getting getter and setter methods for the attrributes in BTAdminI.
Last,please tell me if i create zhelp and activate it,would it automatically appear in the list on AETwhile assiging it to input field?
Please help me out.Kindly be detailed as I am new to SAP CRM.

 Cannot add additional approver
 We are now on SRM 5.5 and a document attached shows the

 In shop transaction, it is possible to change the

 When we add, the system shows the list of available

 selection, but "transfer" button does not actually
 transfer.
 When the cart is saved, the added approval shows as "no

 We are using the standard workflows for 2 step approval.

HELP! I had a duplicate contact added to my iPhone 1390 times!!!!

I have an iPhone 3gs (yes, I'm still living in the past), I have multiple contacts that randomly get added to my list of contacts. "Random" because it is mostly not even people I contact at ALL, by email or phone. Some of the contacts are only people I receive emails FROM (like for newsletters).
For example, one entry is an email of a friend - btw I NEVER use that email, I call her - the entry that only has her email was added to my iPhone 1390 times!!!!
That is not the only one that is duplicated. My contacts are almost unusable because of these enormous numbers of random duplicates being added.
I have 2 questions:
How do I stop my phone (or is it icloud?) from creating these duplicates
and
How can I clean this all up?
Oh, let's add a third question:
My phone is syncing the contacts to icloud (that is how I got the number of duplicates) but my icloud contacts are not syncing with my MBP running Lion (10.7.5). How can I get all of my contacts to synchronize nicely?
If all of my contacts would be on my MBP, I could merge the duplicates but they aren't there ... yet.
I am not synchronizing with google or yahoo or ..... only with icloud, my phone and my MBP. I have my phone to sync over the air in itunes.
Also, since I thought everything was synchronizing nicely, I add contacts on my phone or on my computer in about equal amounts. So, that means that I can't just erase (write over) what's on my phone or on my computer.
I want to sync with a new iMac and upgrade to Mountain Lion too but I want to get this straighted out first. I DO have icloud enabled on my MBP and my iphone.

I tried to look for adobe-usermanager-dsc in the admin UI but did not find one over there . I even tried copying the adobe-usermanager-dsc.jar to pre-configured Jboss server/all/lib directory but that does'nt makes a difference .
I was suggested to use different combinations of excluded solution components in the cliProperties file
When I used the following list of   excludedSolutionComponents I did not see the (ERROR [com.adobe.idp.dsc.startup.DSCStartupServlet] DSC Startup failed. I was creating a website using Oracle® Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Site Studio for External Applications
11g Release 1 (11.1.1).
I worked fine till creating the place Holder Definition , I was trying to add place holder to Home Page.
In this step I did not get the property 'Switch Placeholder Definition Role' in the List when exploring the node WebSite.

I am using oracle db. It seems that it is trying to insert record into L10_Locale table while portlet is added into home page. Does the record go to L10_LOCALE while adding portlet.
As per my knowledge, records goes to desktop,page and placement related tables while portlet is added.
When i see the L10_LOCALE existing records, it has two 2 records.

What version of Exchange?
Is this a new installation?
Has this ever worked?
Has the Unity server hostname been changed since Unity was installed?
Did you recently change anything on the Exchange side?
1. Double check that the permissions for UnityDirSvc have been correctly delegated exactly according to
http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/Unity/PermissionsWizard/Unity50/Help/PWHelpExchange_ENU.htm Giving it too many permissions can break things. You may need to force a DC/GC reconnect and make sure that Unity is able to talk to the GC properly (view the event logs to make sure), otherwise finding the Exchange server will never work.
2. You can also verify the below, however ***Do this at your own risk, it involves manual database modification that could compromise Unity if done improperly***
Stop Unity
Go to the SQL Server Enterprise Manager,
Open Microsoft SQL Servers
            - SQL Server Group
              - (Local) (Windows NT)
               - Databases
                - Unity Db
                   Tables
                    Right-click on 'MailboxStore'
                     Select Open Tables > Return All Rows
Arrow over to the 'HomeServer' field and verify if this partner mail server is correct. If not, this needs to be changed.
Restart the Unity server

What exactly are you trying to accomplish by having a
referential integrity constraint on a view (which is
not allowed). PKs and FKs are allowed on views. DISABLE NOVALIDATE is the only allowed state for them. View constraints are used for query rewriting: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14223/qradv.htm#sthref1457

Disable event firing while updating list item in custom timer job

Hi
I am adding new items in the list usign custom timer job.
While adding the items in the list event receiver of another list (which is not related to list which is updating) is getiing fired due to which I am getting data wrongly updated and exceptions are comming.
why the another lists event recevier is executing while updating my list?
How can I disable event firing from timer job code?
please suggest any solution

It seems you have deployed your event receiver globally and it is applied to all the lists. I can suggest two ways:
1. Either you update your event receiver feature.xml file and attached to specific list, wherever you want. You can follow below link to attach event with specific list via code:

Or instead of code you can also pass ListUrl in feature.xml file:

While adding localization for appstore meta data, I cannot find the language Polish (Polski) under the option Choose another language: in iTunes connect.
I am updating the app to a newer version. I need to show the App description etc in Polish too. But I can't fnd the Polish in the list of languages that can be

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding attachments to list items in app.
To add attachment to list item in the host web, we should first get the list and the list items from the host web, then add the attachments to the list items.

CSM issue while adding IPS

Dear friends,
While adding an IPS to CSM (through Add from Network option), i don't see the OS Type listing IPS as an option? I only see ASA, IOS and other options.
If i go to Tools-->IPS Manager, i still dont see an option to add IPS but only re-import and reboot.
The version of CSM that i am running is 3.01.
I also installed the CSM IPS patch.
I hope that i am adding the IPS the right way.
Is there any workaround for this

A shared member is a virtual copy of the "real" member and cannot have a different alias than the "real" member. Once you have an alias on the "real" member the shared member will automatically have the alias as well.
