Email alert/notification not working with Exchange/Activesync

Hello, I have an Exchange Active sync setup that is otherwise working just fine. Up until this morning, I had the standard audible and vibrate alert when an email was 'pushed' to the iPhone (when locked). This stopped working. I now have to go into the email app, it seems to then 'check' for emails, and only then I receive an alert. I should mention that I upgraded to 2.1 this morning so this could be related. Is it possible that 'push' is not working properly? All my other 'push' settings are the same, and I deleted my account and re-established it to verify I did not miss anything. Thanks in advance.

I am experiencing the same issue. I logged a support incident with Apple; the tech I spoke to added an Exchange acocunt to his iPhone and had the same problem - no "push". He promised to get back to me tomorrow with hopefully a solution. I will keep you posted.

Email push notification not working

I have z-push working as an activesync tool for Zarafa (ZCP) in my LAN. The account is set to an "Exchange Account", with push notification working for email. The Zarafa-server has local IP-Adress (like 192.168.0.x). Email push notification from z-push using WIFI is not working while "Mobile Data over GSM" is activated on my Iphone 4. (with IOS 5.1.1 running).The only way to get email is to open the mail client software.
Any ideas why i have to switch off data over GSM/3G to be able to get push notifiactions ?

Yahoo email "push" stopped working for me on my iPad (3.2) and, later, on my iPhone 3G (ios4). The fixes turned out to be different on both, but both are now working...
On my iPad, I needed to Reset Network Settings (under General, Reset). It did it's thing, rebooted, and I needed to re-enter the password for my home network. Poof... Push notices came in.
On my iPhone 3G, I deleted my yahoo account and re-entered it. Push started working right away.
Hope one of these is helpful for you.

Mail badge icon not working with exchange

1. using exchange for my email
2. have mail program on iphone 5 configured for this account
3. using ios7
4. Have lots of folders insdie inbox and all are being 'pushed'
5. issue: when receive mail via 'mail' on iphone the mail badge does not popup with a number of 'unread' messages. At times it will show a number but most times it will not. I have to go inside of inbox and look for a number next to a name to see if i have any messages.
6. all settings in notifications are 'on'
7. Alerts set as banners

Email sound notification not working?

Hey everybody,
I know since the 2.1 update has came out alot of people have been having a problem with there push/fetch email not working as well as me. The only way for me to get any notification that email has arrived is to check it manually. I have learned to live with that till 2.1.x comes out but now I am noticing that even when I do check it manually, and I get the little number telling me how much email I have next to the specified account, I am noticing I don't hear the sound telling me there is new email? I used to be able to hear that sound? I have check the sound settings and email notification is turned on. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if it's just a thing that 2.1 has done.

A .me (MobileMe) is an IMAP type account, and this behavior is well known for it, if in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced it is select to use the IDLE command (which is to enable Push email that people like to use when accessing via cellphones. Is this the case?

SME 7.1 not working with Exchange 2010 SP3 UR8v2 and OnTap 8.2.3 7mode

SME 6.1 works fine, but is not compatible with SnapDrive 7.1.1 (causes verifications to fail because server can't mount clone) and lower SnapDrive versions are not compatible with Ontap 8.2.3. SME 7.1 not working with Exchange 2013 SP1 CU6

Hello, i tried upgrading to SME 7.1 on our Exchange 2013 SP1 CU6, but when trying to configure the Exchange Server in the SME management console using the configuration wizard, it gave an error before the LUN mapping page, saying "Failed to get Exchange information for server" and "The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state.". I upgraded Snapdrive to 7.1, verfied all credentials according to the manuals, re-installed and rebooted multiple times (registry and filesystem cleaned, even tried to rename the existing SnapInfo directory, ...), stopped all other services on the server but without any change... We could not reproduce the error with the upgrade workflow.Looking at the error and the relevant function, we could force the problem in following conditions: -SME is configured or ran at the DAG level-one of the following services is stopped or not responding on one nodes of the DAG Snapdrive Service, Snapmanager Service, Snapdrive Storage Management Service,Snapdrive Management Service. Interactive notifications not working with BT Keyboard

Hi all,
I just discover a very weird behavior (and I think it's a bug) on interactive notification, it does not work using bluetooth keyboards.
I'm using a iPad Mini with Retina Display (with iOS8) and Clamcase Pro Case.
When I'm in the home screen and receive a message, I can swipe down and enter my answer using the BT keyboard. However, when I'm on any other app, receive a message and swipe down, I cannot use the BT keyboard.
For example, I'm using Write app, receive a message and swipe down the notification to enter my answer, I keep writing on Write app (in background) and nothing happens in the quick answer field on notification.
I also tested with other BT keyboard and got same result.
Does anybody else see that behavior?

I can confirm I'm having the exact same issue on my iPhone 4S. I was attempting to respond to a text message by pulling down on it when it came through. What I noticed was that when I began typing, the application in the background was being affected, and nothing was appearing in the text window.

Alert is not working with a group by query

Hello,
I have a group by query. Using that query have created an alarm, but the alarm is not working, though if I execute manually the query, the query is returning records.
I have update the alarm and set another query which has no group by clause. This way the alarm works.
So, my question is the following, do you know if this behaviour is because some SAPs limitation, that is, that alarms with queries containing the group by clause cant work?

Actually, the query I have post was a simplification of the real one.
The real one is the following, and there I think it is not possible to rewrite it without the group by>

Push notifications not working with production (apnagent nodes Js)

Hi,
When we tested the push notification in sandbox using apnagent node JS it worked well. But when we switch the sandbox to production it is not working. When we debug the server side we are not getting any errors also in production, but push notifications are delivered to the devices.
First we thought it is a certificate issues and then revoked all the certificates in the portal and created new certificates still no luck.
Can any one tell me why push notifications are not working in production.

Email personalization does not work with no first name

In Business Catalyst, if you insert the tag { tag_recipientfirstname}, the tooltip on this feature advises that "First name of the recipient (replaces with 'Friend' if first name is empty)".
This is false advertising.
It does not replace with 'Friend', it just leaves it blank.
Obviously, this is a major problem when trying to send out personalized emails, and doesn't help us make the case for a client to use Business Catalyst instead of MailChimp, iContact, or any of dozens of other email tools that reliably provide this simple, simple feature.
When can we expect this simple, basic feature to function as advertised?

This was there response.
"I have investigated this issue further and this is something I can replicate. As you have mentioned, both {tag_recipientfirstname} and {tag_recipientname} should render 'Friend' if the associated information is missing from the contact's CRM, however it is not at this stage.

You have to activate Exchange ActiveSync for each user's mobile device. This is done by the IT folks in the back office.

Why are AOL push notifications not working with OS 6?

After installing IOS6 I am unable to get my AOL Push notifications to work on my Iphone4 or Ipad2. I did try to delete the accounts and then installed them again. After that I re-booted each device, but no luck. Is this a problem others are having?

Setting Out Of Office from Outlook not working with exchange 2010

We have an exchange 2010 server with 2 load balanced CAS server and Mailbox servers in a DAG. We have a few domain
names accepted (will call it firstdomain.com and seconddomain.com) but only one is in certificate (firstdomain.com).
The issue is - when user with default email @seconddomain.com try to set “Out Of Office” from outlook (2010 with all service
packs and updates) he is getting “ Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later” where
setting it from webmail works fine and setting it from outlook for users with @firstdomain.com reply address works fine.
we have both internal and external urls for all virtual directories set to external
host address (https://mail.firstdomain.com
  etc). All the users are on intranet with local ip subnets (sites connected via vpns ), all the routing is in place and DNS points to correct ip addresses.
Autodiscover works fine (tested in outlook ) and giving correct address for OOF link
( https://mail.firstdomain.com/ews/exchange.asmx)
wich opens fine if entered into address bar in IE so its NOT AN AUTODISCOVER issue .
I enabled logging in outlook and thats what I am getting in there:

Last thing - we are using proxy server and with proxy off it works fine although all

According to your description, I understand that Outlook client with second domain name cannot use OOF setting and get an error “Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable.” However OWA works fine.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether all account or some special user experience this question.
Would you please try to reconfigure Outlook profile in other Computer, Outlook version and return the results?
