You don't want to be posting your email address in an open forum - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
The @mac.com version of your address is working, but the @me.com one isn't. Presumably you did indeed have a MobileMe account which was previously a DotMac account, and so retained the @mac.com address. Was it still working before July 1st?
Did you migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud before 1 August? If you did not do so you would be able to reactivate your @me.com address but not the @mac.com version. If you did migrate, both should be working. In the latter case you probably need to seek the services of Support.
If you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact iCloud Support here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support (MobileMe Support is no longer available) and you will probably be asked to pay a fee. If the problem seems to be caused by them you may be able to talk them into looking at it without charge.

    Just hoping for a little help!
    We recently had an email account disconnected by our provider in error (we changed from a mobile Internet connection to home ADSL &amp; requested an email retention, which didn't happen!)
    After weeks of dealing with our incompetent provider we have finally got the email address reconnected however I am unable to get it to work on any of our devices (iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 3, or home laptop). The account is definately active as emails are accessible through the providers website. The email address is an "additional mailbox" to the primary mailbox connected with the adsl.
    The email address worked fine on our devices &amp; laptop prior to the disconnection.
    With the reconnection our provider advised we had to change the email settings to now be a pop3 account and provided the relevant details regarding servers, ports etc.. These details are exactly the same as the primary email address I have set up on all devices and which works perfectly.
    I have tried deleting the account and re-adding, I have rebooted the devices and have double triple checked the settings. Still nothing! I just receive an error message saying "cannot get mail. The username or password for "pop3.xxxx.com" is incorrect."  Though, I know the password is correct as its the same one we use to log in to the mailbox on our providers website and access the email.
    Would anyone have any insight as to why only this particular email address can not be added to the devices "mail app"??  I love the ease of being able to just tap the mail icon and see all my different email accounts. I'd prefer to not have to manually login to our providers website to access mail on one account.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    Check the thumbnails for exclamation marks, an indication of missing files. If you have moved images or folders using your computer operating system LR won’t know what you did and the original links will have been broken. You need to point LR to where you now keep the image(s) on your hard drive.

    The error mentioned is caused by the sending computer clock being off.. I see you are getting the error from a Yahoo server, which matches the discussion in the thread. The thread is in relation to using thunderbird as the email client, but I suspect that does not matter. So maybe check the date/time set in your computer and see if it is off? 
    Other than that, I have no idea...sorry.

    Something in your SMTP settings is incorrect. Your SMTP server is not authenticating on the network that you are on. Have you ever been able to send mail on this device?
    Also, you are in the iPhone forum, you might be better served on the iPad forum. I will ask the mod to move the thread.

  • Exchange email error with memory or settings

    Looking for help with an email error. I have a Palm Centro and use an MS Exchange email account. Last night it spontaneously stopped working.
    Every time it attempts to Sync (auto or manual) it gives me the following error:
    "Issue with low memory or settings. Check available memory or go to Account Setup to check settings."
    Also, any time I enter or exit the Email application on the phone, I receive an error message
    "Please press the Sync button."
    I've checked the available memory on the phone and there's plenty (about 55 MB available, out of 64 MB).
    The email was working just fine and nothing changed, but I double checked all the settings and they match my exchange server settings.
    I've tried a phone power cycle multiple times, no joy. Phone itself, and internet access (webpages) work just fine.
    Tried creating a second email account but won't let me choose Exchange as the mail type (only allows POP or IMAP).
    Tried creating a second "dummy" email account and then deleting the first one. Upon choosing to delete the account, I receive the same error message about an issue with low memory or settings.
    I'm about out of ideas, if anyone has seen this before and has a suggestion, that'd be very helpful. Thanks!

    this is what i get when testing out my insert form (for creating a new topic on my forum) is there something i missed?
    hard to say -- maybe some of the columns which receive a NULL value have been defined as NOT NULL ?
    also i use the logout user action and it seems to work but when you click it on the site it send you to the page like i have set but if you go to other pages it still has you logged in. how do i fix that?
    make sure to add ADDT´s "Restrict access to page" behaviour to whatever "other page" -- this will check if the session still exist, optionally check the access permission as defined in ADDT´s "levels", and automatically forward to the login page if those criteria aren´t met

    For troubleshoot Windows mail APP, please check the below WIKI article:

    For the error code, what is the detailed error messages? How we configured the Internet Connection, using any proxy settings? 
    Further, if this is related with some Windows update (could you please have a share with the KB number?), we may consider to temporary uninstall that update, or take a system restore.

    For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:

    I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.

  • Since upgrade to iOS 7 Email error on over 100KB emails "Cannot Send Mail  The message was rejected by the server because it is too large." Connecting to Exchange via Activesync

    Hi,
    Following the upgrade to iOS 7.0.3 on all our iPhone and iPad devices, it has been identified that when sending emails around 100KB in size and over an error message appears on the device stating “Cannot Send Mail  The message was rejected by the server because it is too large.” See error message below. The send/receive limit is over 10MB so this is not the issue.
    We are in an Exchange Environment using Microsoft Activesync. This issue is not evident in iOS 6. This has been tested on an iPhone 3GS running version iOS 6.1.3. We have been unable to repeat the issues seen on iOS 7 on the older OS. It is not possible to roll back to the older operating system as Apple are no longer signing the software.
    We use Microsoft Active Sync to connect to our Exchange servers through a TMG. The issue is very inconsistent, some identical emails go through, some fail. This is not an issue with the send/receive limit as this is over 10MB. The error message when it fails on the TMG is Status: 413 Request Entity Too Large, which we believe is from IIS on the CAS server.
    Does anyone have any suggest course of actions to take?

    This resolution have to attend at the server not with the ios device. My employer's mail administrator reject me to correct it from the server. As his concern is, if ither ios devices works why don't mine? So I am helpless than changing my iphone. It works fine for early versions of ios and with androids. And also one of my friends iphone4 with ios 7 (similar as mine) works too. So I guess it's something wrong with my iPhones settings. But basic question I cannot understand is it works in my phone before this ios7 upgrading. And currently working with my yahoo account too. Favourable reply expected.

    HELP!  Why am I getting this error message? It's driving me crazy! When I try to send an email,  the message stalls in the outbox and the following message pops up -  "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed." I have deleted and reinstalled the account, restarted the phone, etc - what the heck? The emails work just fine at Yahoo online, so the account it fine...I don't want to hard reset the phone, as I had to do that recently and it's a pain - any suggestions?

    OR they are the right settings but you are trying to send through a different internet provider or 3G provider, that does not allow that SMTP server to send email.
    if I send email from 3g or someone elses wifi on a different ISP, it will not work, because it does not allow that server to be contacted. this is normal.
    What you want to do is setup a gmail account and use their SMTP server settings for the defauly outgoing server. that way you dont have to worry about this.

    Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, things have gotten progressively worse now in another direction. After I posted this, I shut down my computer to go to work. It had to "rebuild" the filevault sparseimage to recover space.
    Now when I restarted it, I am missing things from my dock, ? marks are in their place, all of my preferences have been set to some default AND this is the biggie - I have no mail accounts whatsoever. When I click on Mail, it asks me if I want to establish a new account. It looks like the FileVault action has totally screwed up my system.
    I tried rebuilding the permissions as recommended above using safe boot. Didn't help. I am now trying to repair the FileVault sparseimage as recommended elsewhere. I think I now see what the problem might be. I have two different sparseimages for the same account with the only difference is that a 1 is appended to the second one. Unfortunately I can't tell which it is. I have a feeling I should repair the 1st one (without the suffix 1). It must not be able to open that and hence that is why it made a second one.
    Any other help anyone?

    I tried support on this one and no one had an answer.
    I created a new form with 4 fields and the submit by email button and the print form button. The print form button works, but when I click the Submit by email I get the following error.
    Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mial client.
    Working with the support person we updated to the most recent version (9.4) of Acrobat and he had me remove Office 2010 from my machine and reinstall. Same problem. I also at that time recreated the form in the latest version, Same problem. The Outlook program is the default on this machine.
    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, Office 2010 Pro Plus, Adobe Acrobat 9 and Adobe Elements.
    I have a number of forms to build but hessitate in getting into them until I know this is going to work. Most of our office is on Windows 7 and Office 2010.

  • Report Subscription by email error - The SQL Agent service is not running

    This may be an easy answer, so please excuse my ignorance if I am overlooking something simple. I a simply trying to setup Report Subscriptions to be emailed to me. We currently have essentially 3 servers in use in our environment - a CAS, a Site server
    and a SQL 2012.
    I have configured the email settings in Reporting Services Configuration Manager on the Site server and was finally able to see the email option in the Create Subscription Wizard, but it errors out with:

  • When I send an email -error message says can't save in folder

    my sent emails don't save in the sent folder. When I click send for a new email ... I get an error message that says it can't save to the sent folder. Just started using TB yesterday.

    I have a similar problem, except my progress bar never ends. The last thing I should read is message to saved in sent folder. If I close the window, the message does not appear in the sent folder. I have to tell you I have been using Thunderbird for several years now. As of yesterday, it was working fine. Now it isn't and this has left me scratching my head.

    If you have not done so already, I would recommend updating your Acrobat 9 to the latest version, 9.4.6.  This sounds similar to an error that was introduced with the 9.4.2 release.
